Our Got Lights holiday lights are up and we couldn’t be happier. We got the multi-​color lights and love the way they frame our house, exceeding our expectations. This is our first time to have holiday lights installed along the roof lines of our two-​story house, and I’m so glad we did. The quote seemed a little pricey but now we see it was well worth it. We appreciate their professional eye for design and the quality of the installation. The lights are set up on a timer to run from 6 p.m. to midnight, which is perfect. Totally hassle-​free for us. This is a great company. They were competitive in their quote to other landscape lighting companies but more creative and technological innovative than the others. They performed exactly as promised and on time. Anthony loves his work and it shows. Highly recommend this company!

We had landscape lights installed for our house in the River Place neighborhood. The service that Anthony provided was above and beyond and his prices were very reasonable. We started getting quotes for our backyard landscape lighting from 3 other companies before settling on Got Lights. We tried Illumination Concepts, Light Sculptors and Outdoor Lighting Perspectives. Initially, (by website alone) I was sold on Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, especially their claim of doing a demo of the lights prior to purchase. To my surprise the experience was the opposite of their beautiful website. The consultation was super rushed, the gentleman (David) basically didn’t want to listen to what we wanted, already had his preset list of lights to purchase and told us not to consider remotely controlling the lighting system. He also didn’t offer a lighting demo. They seemed very corporate and sales focused. So we scratched him off the list. The other lighting folks were ok but their prices were higher and they didn’t really offer anything that was a differentiator. We almost settled until my wife found Got Lights. Got Lights didn’t pop up on the immediate internet searches, but boy I’m glad we found them. Right from the go I could tell Anthony knew his stuff. He’s full of detail, sometimes a fast talker but he obviously knows his stuff. More importantly he listens to his customers and tailors solutions based on their needs. I was most impressed with his demo. He must of came out to our house 4 to 6 times in total. The demo was ultimately a deal breaker. The other item which impressed us was his custom «Wemo» solution to control the lights from our iPhone and iPads. Being a tech geek this was right up my alley. Although we had some issues getting it going (not due to Anthony, but Belkin) it eventually got running. I was impressed with Anthony’s willingness to stick around and ensure everything was working as expected. However the icing on the service cake so to speak was when our dog dug up and chewed threw one of the electrical lines the very next day after install. It fried one of the Wemo light switch units and blew a fuse. Anthony came out the next morning first thing. He had been texting to ensure everything was good and my wife mentioned the incident. We weren’t even back from our kids gymnastics appointment. He stayed and resolved everything until we got back. He also fixed our sprinkler water line that had accidentally been clipped during the line install. So all in all I would highly recommend Anthony from Got Lights. A++ on Service and attention to detail.

Anthony with Got Lights did an amazing job on our landscape lights. He was very thorough in explaining their process and pricing. He and his wife set up a demo for us and this really helped us see how it would look in our yard. The installation process was quick and when we had to trouble shoot some issues with the controls and wifi, Anthony was there to help remedy the problem very quickly. Got Lights has provided us great service for over 5 years now. Great customer service and follow through.
We had a tree that kept knocking our lights down every time the wind blew, they repeatedly and timely came back to reattach lights or replace bulbs (tree since replaced).

Still using these guys 3 years later for Christmas lights and they still look great! Some of the lights have gone out and they have replaced them no problem and no questions asked. Great JOB Anthony and team– keep it up!

We have been a customer of got lights for five years. We have had no problems with our system until landscapers recently screwed up our lights. I called the got lights on a Thursday explaining the situation and the fact we were hosting a party the following Saturday. The most horrible customer service I have ever seen. I will never forget the complete meltdown the Got Lights employee just had in front of me and my friends-​some of whom have recommended Got Lights before.
Anthony, who apparently is the owner, stormed off in huff– like a kindergartener without a snack, and refused to do our night time demo, apparently because my friend plugged in an extension cord without him being there-​that attached to a transformer, that by the way, did not have a safety cover on it.
He is either stressed out, or just out to provide really bad customer service– I cannot understand his behavior this evening. His worker had set up lights to do an evening demonstration, and my friend plugged in the transformer before Anthony got here. As soon as Anthony showed up he became incensed, started yelling that he was not going to do the demo, turned the lights off, and drove off without looking our way.
Proceed with extreme caution-​I have never seen this kind of behavior in a consumer facing business.

I am a new resident of Austin, and I called Got Lights for help with my landscape lighting. Anthony came right away and thoroughly impressed me with his professional service! He is very knowledgeable, helped me with my problems, and he even showed me how to fix the problem rather than charging me for his work. I will most definitely call Got Lights again! A landscape company I work with referred me to GOT LIGHTS. First, I went to their website and sent an email to schedule an appointment. Within 24 hours I received a call back and set a time.
Anthony, the owner, came to look at my house and talk to me about what lighting options were available.
He staged a night time demo with the actual fixtures in place to show how the new lighting would look. That’s an amazing amount of work and commitment on his part for the labor to set up the lights.
Truth is the demo sold me.
We finalized how many fixtures, why type of lights and where they would be placed. The installation went as scheduled. His crew is hard-​working and very good at their job. For some of the back yard lighting patio, several fixtures were installed directly onto the foundation of the house. Anthony made sure to find white fixtures that would blend in with the limestone. Great job.
I originally requested LED lighting but found that it wasn’t bright enough for what I was wanting. No problem. Anthony came back out to look at the installation and we discussed what would be changed. He came up with a way to switch out fixtures without having to add another transformer. He knows his stuff! The change was made within a few days.
I am totally satisfied with the end result. I feel safe because my house is well lit. I love that the lights are set up to go on and off automatically. The lighting does a great job of highlighting the limestone exterior, plants, columns and trees. Truly a work of art.
Since then, several of my neighbors have commented on how nice the house looks. I am very pleased with the work and highly recommend GOT LIGHTS!
