Acura Columbus

First of all, I hardly give bad reviews. After speaking with one of my friends who sells cars i found out they handled our situation very unprofessionally. Basically I was explained by my fellow car salesmen friend that we were being judged (as a young couple? Interracial couple? Bc we couldn’t pay for a car in full? … I dunno, for whatever reason). Anyway, they didn’t care to work with us.
I’m really happy I did not end up doing business with this company though.
And I will definitely tell anyone I know that is in the market for a car to steer clear of this place.

Traded in my Mustang for a 2006 Miata with only 7k miles. Sales person and manager really worked with me to make a deal that was to good to pass up. I also appreciate every time I go back for service or parts that several sales people recognize me and say hello.

We bought our car here in Nov. It was a Subaru Forester. We got a good deal on it and were able to get more off of it since it had a big crack on the bottom of the windshield and some messed up paint on the hood. Luckily we noticed these thing, because they didn’t mention them and could have been over looked easily when seeing the car at night. We also found out that the car battery was low the last time we went to look at it, so we got money off for a new battery. After we bought it and had it looked at, the Dayton Subaru dealership found out that there was another issue with the engine. Luckily Subaru the company paid for it since it was a newer car. The Acura Columbus people told me there was nothing they could do because it wasn’t covered in the warranty. Even though they told us that anything that wouldn’t make the car «go» would be covered. It didn’t seem that they looked over their cars as well as they say they do before putting them on the floor.

Excellent experience at Acura Columbus. I recently purchased an MDX there. The sales people that I worked with, Ben and Kyle, were knowledgeable, friendly, and always made it a point to make themselves available when I came by in person or had any questions via phone. The dealership had a plethora of new cars of all types and packages. I would not hesitate to go back there again.

They had the exact car that I wanted in stock. They were efficient. I worked with Steve. It helps to know what exact car you want. Then know whats the price you are willing to spend to get it. Instead of a lot of heckling back and forth you can get a quote from another dealer and look online and know whats the average purchase price and you wont have to worry about overpaying. Usnews has a nice summary of average purchase prices. I absolutely love my new car.

Would recommend Acura Columbus to any current or future Acura owner’s. The staff is always courteous and willing to take any step to ensure my satisfaction. I may not always drive Acura (they need more power!!) but if I own one, it will only go here.

I am very happy with my experience purchasing a car at Acura Columbus. I am now 42, and have a sales job that covers Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Western PA, West Virginia, and even Missouri. Haven driven Honda, Mitsubishi, Ford, Chevy, and VW in my life, I was looking to step up into the luxury class to save my back (and sanity) from the rigors of road travel on my job. This being my first venture into this class, I did not know what I was looking for. I started with the entry level ILX. One nice ride, and well built car. It was better than the bumpy and loud ride of my current Honda, but not as much as I was hoping for. The sales rep suggested I try a bigger car… the TSX. That was an even nicer ride, handled the bumps better and was quieter… but still I felt I was wanting more. He then suggested the TL. When I put that car on I-​270, within seconds I was sold. The highway is where I live when I work, and that car seemed like it was made for the highway. Smooth, quiet, yet with more than enough power to move about traffic. I was sold! The sales rep at Acura was so patient with me, my wife, and three kids as we test drove these cars, and not knowing what we were really wanting. Closing the deal with financing and my trade in was also pain free. I highly recommend Acura Columbus to anyone shopping for a new car.

Great customer service. Little bit high on prices (bought a used car), but overall recommend.

Service department here is top notch. They have always been quick to get me in when something goes wrong with the car. I appreciate the reminder emails or special service deals that they send periodically. They have kept me informed about work being done on my car, (i.e. what they found was the problem, when it will be available or whether it will take longer, etc.). Love that they have free loaner cars when scheduled in advance, (good excuse to try out a new model). Shuttle service has been convenient, too. Service work is competitive. Service consultants have always been helpful and customer focused. As much as one hates to have to have car work done, they do their best to make it more convenient and a more pleasant experience.
