I’ve been looking for a dryer duct cleaner for sometime. I called 2 places and never heard back. Doug was helpful and diligent and helped me with an appointment right away. They did a really great job!

We moved to a new house and of course our new dryer wouldn’t work! So, being new to the house, we weren’t sure what was the problem — dryer, hose, vent, or the exit point of the vent. In fact we couldn’t even locate the vent exit! Called Doug after reading Unilocal reviews and he explained exactly what he thought it could be because he was familiar with my neighborhood. Excellent! His team showed up promptly, were great about removing shoes while in the house, and cleaning up after they were done in the laundry room. Our vent exited on the roof — should’ve seen that! The tech went up the roof and found the blockage, showed me the damage and cleaned it up. Dryer works like a charm since then.
Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend Doug to anyone. I plan to use them for gutter cleaning in the near future as well.

I was referred to Doug through an appliance repair service when I complained that my dryer was not working, and they suggested that my dryer vent may need clearing. He and his assistant arrived early. He was very helpful in locating my dryer vent exhaust on the roof. He also noted that my rigid dryer exhaust hose was prone to kinks and blockages, and offered to replace it with a flexible vinyl hose, for a very reasonable price.

Great service. Called, explained my gutter problems and ordered the job and some gutter brush. They followed up when the gutter brush arrived, scheduled the job, and their team came, did the work, and left. Even clipped a few branches while they were up there. Paying the bill now. Easy as it comes.

I don’t think this company still run the business. I called them twice and waited for returning call, two weeks passed by no one calls me back!

If you live in the tri-​valley area of Northern California, there is a high chance that you have encountered pigeon problems. Pigeons love the modern design features of our home. It basically gives them a lot of nesting options.
I have lived in the Dublin Ranch area for 7 years. I am the original owner of my home. Over the years, I have heard pigeons on my roof. We have a window ledge over our front door, and pigeon poop has accumulated there as well. To be safe, we decided we should get a few quotes on pigeon cleaning so that we could ensure our rain gutters weren’t too badly clogged with pigeon poop. Our neighbors had such a serious issue that it actually caused leaks in their home.
I was shocked by the service I received from different companies. Many refused to drive to my home to do the assessment without charging an estimate fee, and others took pictures of the house but never looked on the roof and gave outrageous quotes. Luckily, I asked a local realtor for a reference and he recommended DGC Services to me.
Doug the owner of the company was great. As soon as I called him, we set up an appointment, and he showed up right on time. He immediately went on top of the roof and told me what he saw, and took pictures so that I could see as well. I was shocked to learn that I had a dead rotting pigeon corpse and weeds growing on the roof from about 50 pounds of pigeon poop.
Doug was the one who gave the most accurate assessment of the issue, and his quote was also the most reasonable. Out of the 5 quotes that I received, Doug’s quote was less than what others had quoted because he only focused on what I needed not try to pressure me into paying more for areas I didn’t have problems with. Doug also mentioned that his crew scoops and bags the poop up. They don’t just spray it with water so that it gets all over the place and clogs up the rain gutters.
Doug’s team showed up a few days prior to their appointment because they were courteous enough to pay attention to the rainy weather and didn’t want my house to suffer from a leaky roof due to the pigeon droppings. They finished on time as scheduled and finished within the time period he had estimated.
I cannot emphasize enough how pleased we were with his work. He also took pictures of the roof after his work so we could clearly see the results from before and after. I would highly recommend Doug based on his rates, professionalism, and results.

DGC Services was recommended by our appliance repair person when we mentioned that it seemed to be taking a long time for our clothes to dry. We contacted DGC and were very, very happy with the service call.
Fred was our technician. In addition to being a very agreeable and pleasant individual, he clearly knew what he was doing and did a very thorough and effective job.
And we could not believe the amount of lint that he cleared out! That is going to make a huge difference in the efficiency of the dryer.
Also, I liked that the service call was a fixed amount up front.

I had a blocked dryer vent and called DGC after reviewing a lot of feedback for similar services in the area. Finding a reputable service provider turned out to be harder than i anticipated. Even the large, national companies had spotty reps. All things considered i decided to take a chance with DGC and gave them a call. They worked around my schedule and I made an appt for the same day. Fred was a little late arriving but immediately set about his task of unblocking the vent with gusto. He was extremely polite and showed a lot of perseverance with the stubborn blockage. I’ve given 4 stars because after removing a lot of debris he wasn’t happy with the airflow. He offered to return if needed if after a week i wasn’t happy with the performance of the dryer. Bottom line is that Fred completed an excellent level of service and my dryer vent is now unblocked and in working order. I’ll circle back to this post if another visit is needed.

Wow! This company is great! My husband had been trying to work with a competitor in the area originally but to get the guy to actually show up to do an estimate to have our roof cleaned (moss) and gutters cleaned out never happened because the guy was a flake. The other company lost out on our business but THANKFULLY we spoke with Doug at DGC! Not only was he prompt in responding, estimating and completing our job, but when they were running late from their last job, they called us to let us know they would be delayed… who even does that anymore? Fred was the gentleman that did the work this weekend and he was SO NICE! We really enjoyed his professionalism and the roof looks amazing! Not only was their cost competitive but they even made repairs to our gutters where the debris had caused separation and damage free of charge! I would certainly give this company my business again and would specifically ask for Fred. It’s great to find a business that conducts themselves with respect and pride in their work! Great job!!!
