Dublin Security Storage

My husband and I needed to move out of our place around June, when most people also move out and transition to other opportunities. We checked several reviews and were happy with the more than satisfactory reviews from old and current clients.
We were fortunate to snag one of the last two spaces in the storage location. The place is secure — no problems there. The hours for accessing the storage is a bit inconvenient since it closes early, but we haven’t had an issue about the hours since storing our stuff here. The couple who runs the place is friendly and helpful.

This is a really awesome storage facility! The managers are «Great» to work with and the units are clean. Our last storage facility had mice problems and our stuff got ruined… But not here I have not seen a mouse dropping in the year we have used this facility! Rates are very reasonable and love the location!

I’m so happy I found this place! I would highly recommend this storage facility to anyone.

Free truck rental when you move in — I think it’s a 14′ penske type truck
Cons:
Gate hours close at 7pm… I wish they stayed opened until 9pm, but seeing as the owners live on-​site, I completely understand.

I was storing my belongings at AllSafe Storage for about a year. The owners are very helpful, sweet, hard-​working people. I had to move units to another place since AllSafe was sold out of smaller units, however I would go back to them in a heartbeat if I could.

Scott and Jeanette are amazing! The rates are extremely affordable and the premises are secure and easily accessible. I recommend anyone who needs a storage unit to this center!

I highly recommend this storage site. I rented at this storage from September 2010 to September of 2013. My Unit was inside #270. It was always clean and I felt safe with the security cameras regardless of how late or dark it was when I went to the unit. The front office workers are cool to work with. I once entered the gate when it was left open and got a one-​time warning for not entering my code, fair enough, except the reason given was that its so they can better protect my stuff. That would be nice if the gate wasn’t broken and left open all day to let anyone in. When I talked to the property managers about this they didn’t feel bad about the gate being broken but upheld me breaking the rules of not entering my code at a wide open gate (at least it got fixed by the next time I went) and said just follow the rules on the property or be fined. Fair rules, but horrible customer service. Like another reviewer mentioned, the lady became verbally abusive over a short period of time regarding a misunderstanding, very unprofessional. I do not recommend this place.

The owners, Scott and Jeanette, live on the premises and are super helpful and friendly. They take good care of their storage business, which means my stuff is safe, secure, clean, calm.
The storage rates are very reasonable for the Bay Area, and there are last minute supplies for sale in the office.
This place makes my globe trotting possible. I can lock my stuff, walk to the BART and get on a train to a plane.

I have pretty much nothing bad to say about Dublin Security Storage. Scott and Janette are great. The place has good security, everything is automated. Cameras everywhere. As clean as you would expect. Their rates are competitive. They have carts and lifts to help you move your stuff. They really do take security serious, and will run after you if you try to squeak through the gate following someone. My one complaint, is the office is not always open during the times they say they are open, maybe they closed early for some reason, but I have found this out the hard way on a few occasions. This wouldn’t normally be a problem unless you need to use the carts or lifts, which require a key from the office in question. Also the office smell of cigarettes kills me slowly, I feel bad for some of the receptionists they have in there from time to time. Smoking outside could fix this. I have been a renter for about 5months or so and I am happy with my decision to rent from Dublin Storage.

We went to this business to rent a truck from their Penske Truck Rental business. They were professional and gave us a great rate. Better than UHaul, Budget and several others. I would highly recommend them. Jeanette Lunardi is one of the property managers and was wonderful to work with.

Well I have but one issue with this storage place. Rented a 10×20 space with the knowledge that the shelf rack I am putting in it is 18 feet 8 inches long. Upon moving everything into the unit and then the shelf rack we come to discover that it is actually a 10 feet by 18 feet unit.
So I now have to go to the office and tell them I need an actual 10×20 which of course they don’t have because all of their «10×20’s» are actually 10×18 and I end up with a 10×25 at an increased rate.
1 star for the place being clean
1 star for the friendliness of staff
1 star for good working gate and keypad
minus 2 stars for advertising a 10×20 that’s a 10×18 and for making me have to double move 10,000 lbs of construction equipment.
