Business Owner
Chrissy began working in the hospitality industry in 2003 for a company that owned & operated free standing restaurants. After she earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology at California State University, East Bay she became the Director of Catering where she planned and coordinated corporate and social events and eventually got introduced to weddings. Being in charge of the events was an eye opening experience into the world of the event and wedding planning industry for Chrissy. She eventually moved on to be the Catering Manager for a premier wedding venue in the Bay Area where she was able to plan and coordinate over 60 weddings a year!
Though it is not required in the industry, Chrissy earned her Wedding Planner Certification through California State University East Bay’s Continuing Education. She takes pride in her craft and sets high expectations for herself. She launched Events by Chrissy in 2010.
