History

Established in 2015.

LunchBOX CEO + Founder Debi Lane showed her entrepreneurial mettle when she realized that whole word-​of-​mouth thing was putting her waxing style on the map. For years, she owned and operated a multi-​service day spa in Sun Valley, and many vacationers eagerly waited until they made it back to the über-​chic resort to receive the carefully crafted speed waxing services from Lane and her team. Lane saw a need, dreamed of the potential and launched the state’s first wax-​only salon in 2010.

«I came to realize waxing was generally an after-​thought or add-​on at spas as well as hair and nail salons,» Lane said. «A comfortable, clean and chic destination dedicated to nothing but someone’s comfort and waxing needs makes sense for consumers and business owners. It’s proven to be the smartest business move I’ve ever made.»

LunchBOX began awarding franchises in 2013, and the entire team gets school-​girl giddy (yes, even the men) when plans to open another salon in another community come out.

As part of a national franchise, Nicky and Peter are opening California’s first LunchBOX in Dublin, in July, 2015. We looking to become a part of the local community and would like to speak to someone about the Live Healthy City of Dublin event for sponsorship opportunities and gifting and give-​away items. Our brand ties in well to healthy lifestyles and life choices. We plan to open multiple location is the San Francisco East Bay area over the new few years.

The real celebrity behind the brand is Ms. BOX (Goodwill Ambassador for LunchBOX). Meet Ms. Box, the sweet, daring, unmistakable face of LunchBOX. Smooth and simple, Ms. Box loves getting her picture taken and enjoys traveling with friends, especially to places that require a passport. She doesn’t care for the wind but (ironically) loves the saying, «Whatever blows your hair back.» She uses profanity a little more than she should, but nobody seems to mind because her laugh is infectious and her intentions are always golden.
