Rick Case Kia Duluth

I just bought a 2016 Kia Rio here from Warren and I can not say enough good things about my experience. The car originally had some sensors that needed to be replaced and they put me in another Rio for a couple of days until it was fixed. It is definitely hard to find a good car salesman as knowledgeable, professional, and genuine as Warren. I will be sending everyone I know who is looking for a new car to him. Andrew, one of the financing guys, was super helpful and got us to an awesome interest rate.
We had originally gone to Ed Voyles on Peachtree Industrial and they were not only super unprofessional, but completely unwilling to negotiate the price of the car and would not even include the rebates that were clearly listed on their website.
Rick Case Kia Duluth was a breath of fresh air when it comes to a good car buying experience.

this place absolutely disgusts me! every time i come here the staff is always changing. there is no one who stays consistent here. the people here are so rude and not helpful at all! one older guy that seems like the manager is rude! he doesn’t even acknowledge you are there and while he’s talking to you he is doing stuff on his phone!
and all the workers saw me come in and none of them asked if i have been helped or even bothered to help me. of course the one asian guy would ask me in korean just because i was asian. and then he got someone to help me.
they have no communication with each other and all over the place! someone tell me why you would tell me i am ready to go when they did not even close my hood all the way?!? why would you let anyone drive off without closing the hood of the car all the way! i was the the freeway and the hood of my car was going up and down! it was loose and it was on the verge of popping up!!!
then i called them while i was on the road and the lady who picked up the phone talked to me like i was dumb! she finally got me to the person who helped me! and he said he is not sure! he said to me that if the the hood of my car came off and something happened that it is not their responsibility! that is complete bs! i hate this place!
–there is only one person here that you can trust and who is great! his name is orion! i always see him and he is great and honest on what your car actually needs! unfortunately he was off today. but if you do go here ask for orion! everyone else sucks!

I just bought a used beetle from these guys. I called on my way back home to tell the sales guy that the engine light had come on. We live an hour away, so I wanted to know if I could take it to an auto parts for the code or bring it back. He said I could do whatever I wanted.
I called back and said that it was a failed thermostat (my check hadn’t even cleared yet) and they said that it wasn’t covered under warranty so had nothing to do with them. I have $ 2k worth of repairs as there is also an oil leak and I haven’t had the car a week. Given I explicitly told the sales guy I was trading in my mini as it kept overheating, this feels like a cruel joke.
All these guys care about is a sale. They let me leave the car park in an unsafe vehicle, and they must have known that and cleared the dashboard lights. I’ve tried calling two managers and keep getting hung up on. Beware, they deserve the reputation of used car salesman.

Not sure about sales, but the service team is on point. Professional, brisk service. Good prices. I’ve always been pleased with the service I’ve recieved here.
I went to another Kia service place in Atlanta and the service sucked– all I can say.
I love coming here to get my car serviced here. They have great coupons via email, also.

I wish I would’ve read these reviews before I purchased a car from this dealership. I put down a huge down payment for a vehicle, the customer service wasn’t bad when they try to sell you a car, but their service department to say the least SUCKS !!! I had to take my vehicle back for an oil change, the first three is suppose to be free if you bring the car back where you purchased it. Service department manager, Tammy, unfriendly. They lied and told me I needed an appt for an oil change and I did not. The employees looks, acts and carry themselves as is they’re totally UNHAPPY. I was given a time to bring my car in, I arrived ½ hour early and was told I had a three hour wait and the information I received about a time was incorrect. Complaining to the service department manager, Tammy, fell on deaf ear, she was the main person that walked around and looked as if she hated the day. The manager of Kia wouldn’t assist. I took my car to another Kia dealer and paid for an oil change when it should’ve been free, but I will write email Mr. Rick Case. Representation as such should not be allowed and should be known by the owner. The book I received that was published by Mr. Case states «he and his wife cares», I hope so. Customers deserves so much better !!!

I went in and got approved for a car and then they tried to make me pay 40,000 for a 20,000 car, with payments @ 661.00 a month. (Reallyyyy) I left and then I received a call from the sales administrator to come back and again it was horrible. I will never do business with Rick Case KIA Duluth, again., they’re a waste a time.

My wife and I were really disappointed with the service at the dealership. We had set an appointment at 9am and arrived on time with no other customers waiting and ended up being there for 4.5 hours only to be told that the car we requested they could not obtain at a Gainesville location due to personal issues with that dealership. About 2 hours later we were then advised that the car was coming from Knoxville, TN and it would arrive the following day at 6pm. The next day we were advised due to traffic (which is about 3.5 hrs) away we would not get the car until the following morning. I called numerous times to the owner and the general manager requesting that we should receive an upgrade compensation (i.e. navigation system) for our troubles which any excellent dealership would eat the cost as this was not originally part of the deal but had been previously discussed when we were asked what are some of the features we wanted. As a customer looking into possibly obtaining a 3^rd vehicle I certainly would not want to purchase one from this location again and would actually drive a little further to try out other dealerships not affiliated with Rick Case. I don’t believe that they stand behind their product nor do I feel like the customer comes first; as a Veteran this dealership is truly about the «hurry up and wait» military phrase.

I went in too change my breaks on my sonata and some other maintence. I will say the level of customer service at this place is amazing. The people are extremly friendly and helpful. Also the sales people aren’t like your traditional car salesperson they are helpful and upfront about everything and try their best too help you.

So I bought a 2014 Kia Sorento from this dealership in September of 2014 after my Lexus was totaled in a crash. Why oh why did I not wait and see more? I test drove the car and enjoyed the ride and although it was ‘used’, it was used by a dealership employee in Florida. That should have been my first warning. When we brought it home, there were scratches all over the interior, the GPS had not been set for Georgia, and the gear shift needed to be replaced due to the leather having been scratched. Apparently, buying a used car at an almost new price means that it’s not their problem to make the car look nicer. Well, it took them a week to fix it. On top of that, the mirror in the driver side visor was smashed in (look like someone had punched it).
The first time I took the car in for an oil change, I was helped by a great guy who unfortunately was not there this time around. I had called Friday asking for a morning appointment Saturday and Theresa said they would fit me in. OH MY GOD. I gave her my car and told her all my opinions and I went to wait in the waiting area. I sat there for 2.5 HOURS while Theresa kept coming in and grabbing people who had arrived after me. She never said anything to me and blatantly ignored me every time she came to grab someone. It took me going to the Parts desk and randomly meeting the General Manager Marty to actually get my car. And then I still had to wait for 10 minutes. Theresa blamed everyone else and did not offer any discount or apology for the long wait. Even though she had called me at 10:30 saying my car was ready and she had to finish my paperwork. I called back that afternoon and spoke with the service manager who offered me a free tire rotation/​balance. Well, I’ll take that and never come back because these employees are the worst! Except for probably the mechanics. No wonder they have such a high employee turnover rate.

This dealership is the place to go. They were more than friendly and consistent. They answered all of my questions and made sure I got the car that I wanted and with a awesome deal! Thanks Brian and Joseph for your help. I will be back and will recommend this to anyone who wants to buy a car.

My baby finally got a new car. This place was exceptional. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. We’ve dealt with them for four days straight until we agreed on price.
Brand new Hyundai Elantra. The gas mileage is fantastic. It averages between 28mi-​36mi per gallon. It has a back up camera, touch screen, Bluetooth, XM radio, cruise control, steering controls for the radio, snow control and… After hard negotiations they threw free leather seats. They will be installed sometimes next week in whatever color she chooses.
Joseph was the sale representative and Brian was his manager. Both of them were great, helpful and very professional.

Painful experience at Rick Case Kia this past weekend.
We had been looking for a new car for our daughter for a while and had settled on either a Kia Forte or Hyundai Elantra — both highly rated by Consumer Reports. We negotiated the deals via email and had initially received a better offer from Rick Case. The problem was that when we took the time to go over to Rick Case Kia they refused to honor the deal that they had agreed to in email. Very much like the typical «bad car salesman» experience you hear about so often. The sales manager Chase Channell was dismissive, abrasive and one of the least customer focused people that I have dealt with in a long time. At that point we were done with Rick Case and Kia in general and decided to talk further with AutoNation Hyundai.
That turned out to be an excellent experience. We negotiated with Joel Allen the sales manager and El Rico Williams our salesman via email and agreed on a deal. When we walked into the AutoNation dealership the experience couldn’t have been more different that the Rick Case experience. They were pleasant, professional and great to deal with. They confirmed the price we discussed, completed the paperwork quickly — even going through the financing (better rate than our credit union) with the Business Manager, Wesley, was a very painless experience. None of the «hard sell» normally associated with that part of the car sell.
I highly recommend taking your business to Joel and El Rico at AutoNation, I’m certainly glad we did.

I’ve purchased 7 cars in the last 10 years, 2 of them from this dealership. Never have I had such an awful experience. You think car salesmen get a bad wrap?? I say, so deserved. Never have I ever felt to deceived, so purposely lied to, talked down at, neglected, or disregarded. They wanted me to buy the car they most wanted to sell, refused to answer any of my questions directly, and after waiting around for almost 3 hours! I left without a new car, not so much as a quote on one of the 3 vehicles I expressed an interest in. I called them at noon asking how connected hyundai and kia were. The salesman answered very Confidently, «Very connected. I could sell you either.» This was great news since I was interested in one of each to begin with. He said he’d do leg work, pick out the vehicles, have things ready when I got there. This wasn’t the case, and his manager was very direct in telling me he could not sell me a kia. He suggested other hyundai models, even offered used luxury cars though I said I only buy new cars, came in specifically looking for new cars, and since he was adamant. .I test drove one. Well, we ran out of gas, then the battery died. We were stranded, 25 degrees outside. They decided to send someone to get us, dropped me off at kia since they had the jumper box. He said he would be back in ten minutes. An hour later, no one was back, no one helped me, no one there would speak to me without an attitude. It was clear, no one wanted me there. I walked back to hyundai and for 15 minutes I stood around while everyone carried on like I wasn’t there. No one asked me if I needed anything or offered to help in any way. I finally walked up to the manager explained things and he said he would find my saleman. He walked in a minute later, flustered and apologetic, explaining all the issues he had. No one cared. Everyone left. The store was closing and they were done. My salesman said he’d stay, help me see the Kia. Unfortunately, no one at Kia could be bothered to help. They made us hang around for 15 minutes before giving him a key. They were rude and unprofessional in their interactions with my salesman. We got in the car, it had no gas, and when he went in to request a gas card, the tension I could see through the window, the facial expressions, body gestures, were all so uncomfortable. I couldn’t stand it anymore. I got out the car, walked in, and gave them a piece of my mind. Then my sale rep confirmed they were giving him a hard time from the moment he walked in. He was embarrassed and said sorry. I told him goodbye and I would never be going back. They lost and loyal customer. They didn’t seem to care. The very unprofessional and unpleasant bdc manager at kia on satellite blvd. In duluth GA was Eric Willmes, who chuckled when I told him I would express my concerns via social media

Went in to test drive a Kia Optima on my lunch break, ended up staying the rest of the day and drove out in the perfect new car. Terrance Little took care of me, and was so awesome. He listened to all of my feedback (we test drove three different cars until we got exactly what I wanted). Terrance made the whole experience so much fun; it was more like hanging out with a friend than working with a sales associate. That said, he was the consummate professional, and knew the answers to all of my questions off the top of his head. Extremely knowledgable, friendly, and professional.
Once I found the right car, Terrance worked with me to get the sticker price down to something that worked for me, and also worked with me in negotiating the price of my trade-​in. Rodney Myers shopped my loan around and was able to get me a 1.74% APR, which was amazing.
Rick Case Kia’s unique 20 year/​200k power train warranty is bonkers, and I went ahead and paid the extra $ 2500-​ish to upgrade the warranty to 10 year/100,000 mile full warranty as well, which covers everything else on the car. Well worth it, and it’s good to know that when I pass this car down to my infant son in 16 years, he’ll still be covered with the power train. :)
All in all, wonderful experience, and I am in love with my new Optima. If you go here, make sure you ask for Terrance. I had absolutely no intentions of buying a new car that day, but Terrance’s service, know-​how, and friendly attitude made it happen. Couldn’t be happier! Someone give this man a raise! ;)

I have purchased a lot of vehicles in my life but I’ve never had an experience like I had last week buying a Kia from Rick Case Kia in Duluth Georgia
this experience was better than any Porsche or Mercedes store and the Chase Chanell General Manager did an amazing job I will never forget this I have since send four of my friends to buy a car from these guys ! Victor delivered the car door house went over all the equipment and even speak the language this is unbelievable ! Rick Case must be proud to have young people like these guys running that store! thank you and I will be back for more Kia’s @ Rick Case Kia in Duluth Ga !

I thought the days of high pressure sales were over. Our original salesperson was pushy and not listening. We were at the desk giving some information and «sales manager» after «sales manager» came to the table. They continued not listening and trying to push a car on us that was not the one we wanted. We finally had to walk out and go to another dealer to buy the Kia we wanted.

I was very dissatisfied with my trip to Rick case Kia. I felt rushed and they wouldn’t discuss specific numbers with me which I find very suspicious. Wanted to sell me the car today which I didn’t like. It’s a big decision to buy a car and I need time to think no matter if I have bad credit or not. Would be beneficial for me to take my time and decide if this was a wise decision for me and for them. Basically if you didn’t buy the car today they’re not interested in your business that’s what I got I have my trip. Thanks for nothing and lowering my already low credit score.

These GREEDY SOB’s. DREW FRISON and the IDIOT SITTING IN THE FRONT DESK MAKING FAKE CALLS TO THE FININACE COMPANY. You both are a bunch of jackasses. You had a sale in front of you with my check in hand and you both are so GREEDY to make a sale you try to CON me into a higher loan and interest rate. FU !!! i will never buy from RICK CASE or refer business here. BEWARE PEOPLE!!! DO YOUR HOME WORK BEFORE YOU BUY !!! You are better off going your own bank, credit union or find your own financing because place like this jack the price up more to line their pockets they can care less about your needs. If you get financing ask question and shop the internet 90% of the time you will find a better deal out of town and the car will have lower miles that the dealership. Also ask about the clear title value if they don’t give it to you WALK AWAY !!! They should give it to you and work with you on that value, the ad valorem tax and sales tax. EVERYTHING IS NEGOTIABLE.**** DON’T LET A SHADY DEALER TELL YOU THEY ARE NOT!!! BELIEVE ME SOMEBODY WANTS YOUR BUSINESS DONT SETTLE FOR NOTHING .

This is a topnotch establishment. I actually like bringing my car here and I am impatient. They provide a nice area to sit and get your work done while you have some of their complimentary beverages. The prices are also very reasonable in my opinion. I hope it stays that way. I had to deal with Ron and he was awesome. I am sure the others are too.
The buying experience was good too. I love my Sorento!

6.25.11– Bought my 2011 Optima here. They were nice worked with us on the trade and price, without too much bullshit. We’ll see how the service department is when I take it back for my first scheduled maintenance.
1.11.13– the service has been superb, from the regular maintenance visits to the little quirky things that come with car ownership. Can not complain about anything!
