Efurd Properties is a friendly and reliable Dallas, TX property management company. We do the legwork, whether you need to find a place or you need someone to manage your rental property.
We purchased a home in Plano in 2006. After a year, we were unexpectedly relocated to California. Not being in a position to sell the home, we decided to lease it out. We secured our first tenant on our own and attempted to manage the property from afar. The time difference and distance was a challenge since we would get 6 am calls about the heater or A/C unit and didn’t have contractors that we trusted. After the first tenants left, we realized we needed help and were happy to pay the management fee for peace of mind. I reached out to a few management companies and was turned off by most of them. However, from the first phone call with Mr. Efurd, I knew we would be in good hands. It only took a month to get the home leased. From then on, the team was extremely responsive and I always felt like they were looking out for us and our property while also treating the tenants fairly and respectfully. I really liked the fact that they employed their own realtors, maintenance crew and accounting team. It made the whole experience feel consistent and warm. Recently, the tenants decided to move out(6 years later!) and we decided it was time to sell the home. We used Efurd Properties to help us sell the home. They moved quickly and we had an offer the first day it went on the market! The sale went very smoothly. Although I was happy about the sale, it meant the end of our wonderful relationship with Efurd Properties. It’s really hard to find businesses that operate with as much integrity as this one. Thank you Efurd and team! Wishing you continued success.

I have used Efurd properties to lease and manage my townhouse in Lewisville since September 2008. In that time I have enjoyed a very professional relationship with them. Efurd properties were always very professional and attentive to my concerns. When I called or emailed them I got a response within a couple of hours. When there were any repair requests from the tenants I was contacted immediately with the issue and an offer to send their maintenance people out to check on the problem. Efurd properties made sure my townhouse was never emptied between tenants for long. In fact, my townhouse was never on the rental market for more than 2 weeks before it was leased out again. I, also, used Efurd properties to sale my townhouse. It was on the market for only 2 days before a contract was signed. Working with Efurd properties for the last 7+ years has been a joy. They kept my stress levels down by being responsive and proactive to both the tenants and my concerns. If I was to have another lease property I would not hesitate to use Efurd properties. I can highly recommend Efurd properties for both managing and selling your property.

I have used Efurd Properties for managing my Dallas condo for almost two years now and I can say that they are the real deal. Cary and his staff are always upfront with me, be it good news or bad. If I ever have a question, Cary or one of his team will generally respond that day over email, usually within a couple hours. As to the work provided, it is a full service shop. I don’t have to worry about a thing: — They take beautiful photographs of the place — Help you set a price point with comparables — Negotiate with the tenants — Handle repairs & disputes — Process & distribute payments automatically I consider Efurd Properties a trusted partner, and that’s a hard thing to find.

My wife and I live in the OakCliff area. We moved into a fourplex in the Winnetka Heights neighborhood two years ago. When we moved in, the owner was an independent contractor whom after a year sold the property to Efurd. A month ago, our AC stopped working; no cold air coming out of it. We requested a technician via online and no one showed up, so after three days without AC, we decided to email and call Efurd again. They apologized and told us the request wasn’t processed because they were in a transitional status with their sub-contractor. So on the fifth day, we had one technician coming over, turned the AC on and checked out the hoses, filter, and motor. Everything seemed to work ok, so he left and we were happy to have AC back without any complicated fix. I thought that perhaps the motor got over heated and stopped working. I assumed that after three days of not using it, the motor cooled down and proceed to work normally. I was happy with the effortless fix, until I get a bill of $ 50 from Efurd. I called the office and talked to Jennifer. I explained the whole situation and asked, politely, why were we getting charge the $ 50 fee. The conversation didn’t go well as I felt she was telling me my request for an AC fixed was a lie. She stated that she«owns a house and never had an AC unit not working for two days and then working again». Oh well, what do you I know about AC units? Nothing, that’s why I requested a technician. The AC wasn’t working, we turned it off for 4 days because no one showed up to fix it, and at the 5th day it started to work again. I don’t mind paying the $ 50, but there is a lack of respect when you tell your residents their request was a lie. At the end of this long story, my wife talked to the owner and he was very receptive. He mentioned that if the problem occurs again, we’ll get refunded. Anyhow, Efurd works fine but the customer service gets a little intense and intimidating.

An excellent service for those who have houses for lease. How do I know? I have managed my own property(what a headache). I have had property management companies manage my properties. Efurd Properties has managed one house for me for some time now, and they have been excellent. Their contracts are easily understood and the fees are reasonable. They are well organized. They respond to requests from owners quickly. The company has been exceptionally professional, competent, and honest. I could not reasonably expect more.
