I have never been treated as nicely and respectfully as I was by Jared at Quality Inn in Durango. I came looking for a handicapped room for a friend in a wheelchair. Jared showed me the room, which was very nice, and made a special point to tell me he would watch out for this gentleman. I have traveled the world and this was one of my best experiences with a front desk person.

This place is great! They priced matched what I found online through a 3rd party. The staff was very friendly and the rooms are really nice. Looks like the remodeled an old moter lodge, but they did a really nice job. There was even a chalk board in the room! How fun! Very easy for loading in and out on the first floor. We missed breakfast, but the manager offered us yogurt and fruit when we checked out. Would definitely come back!

The hotel was older but nice. What made our stay great was the nice people serving breakfast. They fried me two eggs! Try finding another free hotel breakfast where they will cook you something to order… good luck with that!

We spent a night here recently on a trip though the area. It was comfortable but really stood out because of the service. Jared and Matt at the front desk provided outstanding service and so did Hope at breakfast. I thought the price was slightly high but I didn’t feel cheated. The rooms were clean, I’d stay again. By the way, this is really a 4.75 hotel. It could be a 5 but the grounds are a bit old, the pool and hot tub are dated and the breakfast room is quite «cozy.»

Absolutely outstanding. The breakfast served is fantastic — there’s even a short-​order cook that will make eggs for you. The pool and hot tubs were great and the room was clean (if small).
The best part is the staff — they are some of the most helpful people, always eager to make your stay better and provide you with anything you need.
The offer bike rentals and a «bar hoppers» coupon, both of which are inexpensive.
Only downside was the water pressure, which was pretty poor.
I would highly recommend giving this place a try, it’s one of the most customer-​friendly hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
Best of all, if you check in with Unilocal they offer a «welcome package» that had some bottled water, microwave popcorn and some assorted sweet snacks. They manager said we were only the second people to ever use this check-​in bonus and she went and got something special for us and left it in our room while we were out.

Fantastic customer service, clean, comfy bed, free breakfast, an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs;) we enjoyed our stay very much! Plus they accept dogs of any size ;) Highly recommended.

Well, we mean 4 ½ stars… Four seems too low, but to get a five they would have to remodel. However having said that, everything is very clean and organized well and the service is great. They even call you to make sure everything is all right… Kind of like the Ritz. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom is clean

We loved the place. Its simple but very clean and nice. The room was impeccable, everything organized and clean. Breakfast was good, and the hot tubs are very nice. we stayed there for three days with a dog, and they only charged us for one day with the dog. It was very nice of them! I really have no complaints! The area is nice and the service was great!

My husband and I spent two nights here. We were nervous when we first pulled up, but were pleasantly surprised when we got into the room. It was spacious, clean, and felt updated. We paid a total of $ 163 per night for a double queen pet room.
It was quiet both nights, we were happy. We felt it might have been a tad overpriced, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

This place is deceptively plain and motel old schoolish looking on the outside. Although there were a few signs that this place was going to be alright after all… a cute decorative metal bicycle out front with flowers on it, and an american flag made out of an old pallet as well! The office had an old real bike inside too and a fireplace that added some charm to the place. All these things let us know these owners are doing things to make their hotel more homey and welcoming and for that we give them a big thumbs up! The room was actually very nice, clean, newly updated! Another cute and unique thing in the room was a small chalkboard wall. Again, another small thing that helped make this seemingly simple place very sweet. Comfy mattress and clean bathrooms. The breakfast is your basic breakfast, nothing spectacular, but everything seemed fresh, the dining room was clean, and the staff was helpful if you needed something. Good enough for us to get us a quick bite to eat and get going for the day!
They have a pool and hot tub, but we did not make use of this.
There’s a pizza place across the street and lots of dining options just minutes away too.

We stayed here for two nights over the 4th. The room was average, nice but not amazing (pillows were too soft for me). The breakfast was good your average waffles, cereal, yogurt, breads, etc. But the staff was the whole reason behind my 5 star review. I booked the room over the phone with TJ and he was very helpful, he was also the one who did our check in/​out. After our stay I discovered we had left behind our 2yr olds blanket, eek! I immediately called and TJ looked for it and made a note it was lost. We even stopped by and he helped me look through the laundry area to see if it was down there. Fast forward 20 days after we checked out and I receive a call from TJ that he found the blanket and will mail it to me! I call that excellent customer service, TJ went out of his way to take care of us even after we had checked out.

I called around 11am on July 20 to make a reservation for this evening. I spoke with Jerry at the front desk who told me there was no availability. After browsing your website I discovered availability and called Jerry back. He decided to check his computer and learned there is availability. I realize we’re all busy but this is unsat to mislead customers.

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel where the staff was consistently friendly and eager to help. «Are you enjoying your stay and do your have everything you need?» was the constant theme. Dogs allowed and the rooms are equipped for it, wood –ish floors instead of carpet and a doggie bed :). Breakfast provided in a special room on the 2nd floor and quite acceptable. I did have issues with the wi-​fi not being consistent but who cares, you’re in Durango.
Beds comfy and everything felt clean.

I though this place was pretty great. They just got a bunch of new rooms and they’re very nice. I particularly enjoyed the bed. The bed was extremely comfy. The room was a little tight but over all it was still nice. Downstairs they have two indoor hot tubs that are a pretty good size, I thought that was cool.

The front desk crew and the breakfast makers are just as nice and helpful as can be. Unusually so. The room we were in had two queen beds. Nice sheets, nice beds, new carpet, very clean. The price was reasonable 80 per night on weekdays and 89 on weekends. The breakfast was huge. Brownies at the front desk at night. Bike and walking trail right behind the buildings. Bike rental place across the street. Free passes to the brand new health center with a huge pool two blocks away. The hot tub at the hotel is pretty gross and the pool very small but that is not what you are here for. The major down side is the look and feel of the place from the outside.
