Cole’s Salon and Spa

I have had my hair done here for homecoming and prom and they always did a fantastic job. I like how clean it is and the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. I always get my brows done here but I will say that I will only go to two of the specialists because I have had some disappointing experiences with other specialists who were harsh on my skin when waxing and plucking and over did my brows twice in a row. Other than that I always leave this salon satisfied.

Just went here for the first time. Called to arrange a wax and haircut a few days ago and was told they had two appointments with just a ten minute gap. The wax was fine though the aesthetician was less adept at removing the wax than many I have had before, she was very nice and professional. A nice associate helped me select some products though was not informed on prices or safety ratings of the products even though she said she was the retail manager. I then waited almost forty minutes in between my supposedly sequential appointments and ended up not having time for the haircut because I had to pick up my child at daycare. The girl who checked me out was not apologetic at all and didn’t even offer to re-​book me — I guess they don’t want my business! I have lived in San Francisco, Boston, and New York, and have frequented a lot of salons — most of which recognized that this is a service industry. My time is valuable because the reason I can afford spa prices is that I have a demanding job. I really wanted to have a good experience because Cole’s is so convenient and sells Aveda which I love, but I really am disappointed in my experience today, plus now I have no haircut for an important function tomorrow! I have no tolerance for service industry businesses that don’t recognize the service component!

This review is for Katrina, who is an amazing hair stylist!!! I travel a ton for work, and found myself in desperate need of a trim while in Minneapolis on business. Katrina was recommended to me by a colleague who has been seeing her religiously for years. She quickly and efficiently assessed my wishes and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. (If it’s at all helpful to anyone reading this: I have tons of fine, naturally straight hair.) On top of the great haircut, Katrina used awesome Oribe and Bumble & Bumble products, and she even curled my hair into a cute style so I’d be lookin’ good for the rest of the day. On top of all THAT, the price was very reasonable. Two thumbs up!!!

Alex, hair stylists is simply great — She does an AMAZING job with layering and side swept bangs. She also offers free bang trims!
I like that the place and Cost is affordable!!! It’s totally worth it!

I’ve been going to Heather S. for a few years now, and she’s the best! I have had some HORRIBLE experiences when it comes to my hair, and I have no fear when going to Heather S.
She listens to exactly what I want and sometimes helps me actually decide what I want. :). She does a great job cutting my long hair and giving perfect, subtle color.
Would recommend her to ANYONE I know.

Janet is the BEST. I have been going to her for years and this year I brought my daughter for prom and she really out did herself. Thanks Janet for always going above and beyond.

Clean salon, yes it’s a chain but if you find a stylist you love then who cares?!

I have been going to Coles and taking my kids there for years. Everyone is very friendly and I’ve always loved my hair. Yesterday I brought in a picture, something I don’t usually do, and Alisha was able to match the color and cut beautifully.

I usually go here to get my hair done. They have a decent sized space and usually busy. You will see people from all ages and gender here. They have plenty of magazines to flip through in their waiting area as you are waiting. They are pretty good at not making you wait too long.
I always get my hair done with Po. She is amazing at what she does.

Sarah did a great job. I will be going back to her!
