Gear up with ACLS is a New York City based, AHA certified training site providing valuable services, products, and courses to the New York community. We provide quality at the best prices, and same-​day certification.

Our courses include CPR/​BLS for Healthcare Providers, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Heartsaver CPR & AED, Heartsaver First Aid, and so much more. Click on our schedule or our calendar in order to register for a class.

We also provide a unique scholarship opportunity to anyone that takes one of our courses. The Lukose & Jacob Scholarship fund was established in 2013 and the mission of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to individuals enrolled for undergraduate or graduate study that have taken BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation), or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) through Gear Up With ACLS. I utilized Gear Up with ACLS to fulfill my certification requirements. As a fellow PA, James and Sana truly understand what my scope as a provider is. This allows them to customize the course to make the most efficient use of my day with them. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and good at explaining the concepts. Most importantly, they are extremely patient and will work with you to ensure you complete the course with the fundamentals down packed.

I took BLS for the first time with James as a student in PA school. I had taken it before with another company, but never truly grasped it until I took the course at Gear Up with ACLS. It’s quick, seamless, thorough, informative and fun all at the same time. You walk out feeling very confident in your ability to save a life if you needed to, and unfortunately I think a lot of other CPR companies have lost this quality. I eventually proceeded to take the ACLS course as well.
The course and the goals of this company sparked my interest so much that now I’m an official member of the team and I couldn’t be happier!

The instructor was incredibly knowledgable and respectful. I took my classes at their Brooklyn location and was so impressed by the instructor’s techniques for assessing my knowledge while providing one-​on-​one support and explaining topics where I needed to improve. James gave us a CPR class for our family tonight and it was amazing. I haven’t done any CPR training since more than 25 years ago, never even got certified for it. Me, my sister, my brother-​in-​law, my mom, and my niece attended the class which was remotely held at my sister’s place.
James did such a memorable training by making sure that he made each of us do the procedures just like it was real. And it did feel incredibly real. He has given my family confidence and inspiration to help save each other and other people.
I highly recommend Gear Up With CPR to do everyone’s CPR and life-​saving training.
