Often the question I ask after having eaten in a new restaurant for the first time is: Would I return? Answer, yes! Piscosour Piolyn is worthy of more visits for a couple of reasons, the first is the food quality is very good, it is a small family run business serving authentic Peruvian dishes, staffed by very nice folks eager to serve, please and share their national dishes. This is not a fancy white table cloth restaurant but one where average folks come to enjoy the foods from their native country in a very relaxed atmosphere. The menu is small but includes all the traditional items one would expect from a good Peruvian restaurant. I am very much looking forward to my next experience at Piscosour as I enjoy the relaxed comfortable vibe and food quality in this little eatery.

Ordered take-out so had a chance to check out the food and the location — impressed by both. Pretty darned authentic as the owners and staff are straight from Peru. First, the restaurant itself… it was totally empty when I got there but I think that was more a function of it being early for dinner than anything else. I would imagine most patrons are Latino and they tend to each much later. If you don’t like loud music, this might not be your spot because it was blaring(they do karaōke on Friday nights too). Other than that, it was a very casual, upbeat atmosphere. My food wasn’t quite ready when I arrived so I had a pisco sour while I waited. It was REALLY good. Highly recommend. Now for the food… we ordered a noodle and beef dish(tallerin de carne) a chicken dish(pollo saltado) and a soup(sopa a la minuta de pollo). All were quite good but the soup was the real standout; and it could be a meal unto itself. Overall, definitely recommend checking it out and I look forward to going back!
