The Beer Shop

This was a pretty good beer store. The selection was pretty good. The staff was friendly and provided information on some local selections. If I’m ever in the area again I would shop here.

It’s hard to say what others haven’t said. This place is AMAZING. Even the smell upon entering. It evokes a primal, beer drinking, balls deep kind of feeling.
EVERYONE was awesome. The customers were friendly. The guy behind the counter was perfect. The cold room was amazing.
So many unique and amazing brews, good organization, Lots of glassware and other products. A funny teeshirt. (Sadly not in my size.) Some beer making kits. (Tho this does’t seem to be a large focus.)
I picked up some local beers, a hard ginger ale, a different alcoholic root beer, and a new to me brew to try. I’m excited to try all of them.

My go to place for all my beer cravings. Fantastic knowledgable owners and staff. And superb selections with new beer added on a regular basis. They also have a great wine section too if you’re not a beer drinker.

This place is awesome! There’s tons of different brands to choose from and they do tastings from time to time. The owner is a cool guy and really knows his beer. A++

Well this place is fun. They have a pretty wide variety of beer — some are interesting and unique and some you can find anywhere in the area. They have mostly single bottles to purchase, but they do have some six packs and larger. They do have a small walk-​in fridge area, but it’s not very well stocked. I think they’re working on stocking it more (I think). It’ll be more fun when the chilled section is larger. I’ll be back.

Great selection of beers, but prices are unreasonably high when buying by the pack. They charge the same amount per bottle whether it’s just a single or 6 pack. Where’s the incentive?

So the reason I am submitting a bad review is not due to bad selection but to poor customer service skills… Last Tuesday I was in and bout $ 100 worth of beer and 2 glasses and the guy that helped me threw in a free pint glass. When I got home my girlfriend was washing the glasses so we could use them and cut herself on the cracked rim. I was going on vacation so today was the first time I could go back to exchange it. So the same guy that gave me a free glass now stares at and and inspects it compares it to there glasses and says to Lenin trying to think of a way to help you. A $ 5 dollar glass should should be easy to figure out if this my first time coming back to try to exchange it. I was going to be a steady repeat customer seeing it was going to be more on my way home seeing I may be moving soon. I prefer to support local specially seeing it would be easier to go right down the street from work to table and vine. So if a business is willing to loose any customer for $ 5 they need to re think there customer service. I on average spend $ 40-​$ 75 a week on beer so sorry you lost a good customer. And all my friends that drunk beer will be hearing this story and not going to your store.

Like a craft beer library where you can quietly walk the aisles, divided up by beer type, perusing the various brands & labels while putting together an eclectic, personal six pack with an obligatory stop at the beer vending machine… all while listening to some cool music with knowledgeable, helpful staff around. The door should open & chime with some sort of otherworldly music to welcome you into beer-​topia but that would probably drive the workers nutty. A fun place for any craft beer fan.

If you are a beer fan and anywhere near the Pioneer Valley then you must stop by. This place has anything and everything.
They recently expanded the store and added a walk in refrigerated area (a game changer for me). Soon they’ll even be selling homebrewing equipment!
The staff is amazing and will let you try all kinds of interesting brews. There are also consistent weekly tasting events. I also love being able to mix and match any sixpack I want.
After picking up a cold brew you can walk next door to Peppa’s Pizza and have a great meal on the patio.
PS: the beer vending machine is very cool too!

I like supporting local businesses and it’s good to see a unique place for the beer advocate. Not that I am a beer advocate or anything, but having the option to get rare beers is always nice.
The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell and will always guide you in the right direction if you are looking to try some new brews. They also have a decent wine selection as well.
The *only* drawbacks are that a lot of the beers are not refrigerated and thus you have to put them in the freezer when you get home before you drink. The other is that the price is a little higher than other liquor stores. This is to be expected given the specificity of selection, but as long as you keep an eye on the beers you pick you should be alright.

This is the cutest little beer shop ever. As you walk in you can see very aged decorations, like a mail box, scale and sewing machine. Gives it this shabby chic appearance and feel to it. Love it!
The store is stocked with craft beer. With a lot if rare selections. I drank the Flemish Sour Ale, and it was to die for! You can select your own little six or four pack if beer, bottled or can and go crazy. Feeling like a pale ale and lambic, but don’t want a six pack of each? This is the place to go to!
We bought two bottles of wine and a random six pack. I’m more of a sour girl, while my fiancé likes to switch up between lagers and ales. This is like heaven for us!
We definitely look forward to coming here again. Love the décor, service and selection!

I decided to stop in to see the selection. I must admit that I expected the craft beers on shelf to be the cookie cutter shoppes we find everywhere. However, this location proves otherwise. I was delighted to find no 30 packs of natural light on shelf or in the back nor did I find 40’s of 211(even though I was once a fan). The owners wife is very knowledgeable and seemed to wholly understand the mind of the craft beer consumer. To all this I raise my glass and nod to a pour of fine beer and to all who consume this delight. Please stop in and try to stump this hopeful mainstay in the area on their beer knowledge, you will not be disappointed… CHEERS!

Nice little craft beer store in East Longmeadow. The owner is friendly and real knowledgeable about beer. Best local selection other than Spirit Haus or Town & Country. Wines are on the cheap side and don’t match the quality of the beers. There is always a beer tasting going on too. It’s great stopping in on a Friday after work, grabbing an empty six pack holder and filling it up.

This place is great. Drove 45 minutes just to check it out and they didn’t disappoint. I am a die hard Boulevard drinker and this place was a gold mine. I walked away with an abundance of Smokestacks as well as a six of my beloved Unfiltered Wheat. Thank you Beer Shop for making my weekend. I will be back!

FINALLY! Finally there is a beer heaven in Western Massachusetts.
Having lived in Boston for the past few years, I’ve been spoiled by the great selection I’m exposed to here. I’m surrounded by great beers. That presents a challenge to me when I have to leave the city and go out west. Sure, you have your massive mega liquor stores along the highway, but sometimes I don’t want a jack-​of-​all-​trades kind of store. Sometimes I just want some damn good beer, and some people who know what they’re selling.
The Beer Shop is a place that focuses one main thing: good beer. All bottles are organized by type, which makes life easy for picky people who hate IPAs and oak barrel beers but love Belgians. And if you’re really, really picky, they sell beers by-​the-​bottle so you can bring home a mixed six-​pack to try out.
The staff is very knowledgeable about their beer and brands, which makes this a great place to go for both beer enthusiasts and the beer clueless who may need a little help in picking a nice gift for the person they love (very, very much).
The Beer Shop also has an excellent selection of local brewery picks, which is one of my favorite things to look for when I travel. They seem to constantly be on the lookout for emerging brands in the area.
That aside, they do carry snacks and wines, but their real glory is in the beer selection. Go here if you’re looking for a treat, curious to try something new, entertaining guests or looking to buy a gift.
