Wanderlust is committed to making a positive language introduction or immersion experience for every student during their time in Germany while completely immersing our groups into German culture.

We are dedicated to creating an environment in which encouragement, fun and passion for exploration thrive. Wanderlust’s programs allow students to truly experience Germany in a small supportive and fun-​loving group and we hope that your student will come hike, learn and experience all the wonders of Germany with Wanderlust this summer!

Emily J.

Business Owner

Emily graduated from Hamilton College, in Clinton, New York with a double degree in History and German Studies. At Hamilton she pursued her love for sports & German as a member of the Hip-​hop dance team, the German club, a Women’s Rugby player and was an Outing Club Leader.

After leading hiking & leadership trips for Hamilton and professional companies for over a decade, Emily realized how much she enjoyed working with teens and began dreaming of owning her own company one day.

After completing her Fulbright Scholarship to Germany and then teaching with a professor at Bielefeld University in Bielefeld, Germany, she moved back to the US to pursue her dream.

Along with her passion for German language and culture, Emily enjoys hiking, sailing, skiing, baking and camping.
