In a moment of flat tire crisis, stuck on the side of I-​90 East, I was abandoned by AAA due to a busy holiday travel day. Not only did Debra from Cascade Towing rescue me from the side of the road, her husband reopened the shop to install my spare at no cost so I could get back on my way. Thank you! This dynamic duo rocks! Instead of waiting more than three hours IF AAA could have moved the car, it was less than an hour from the time I called to the time I was loading my bags back in my car.

I was stuck by lake Kachess where I couldn’t get any cell coverage. They came up the side of the mountain and not only pulled me out of the ditch, but another group as well. It maybe took them an hour to get there (and I was in a remote area.) They didn’t charge me an arm and a leg, either. Very grateful for their help, and not letting this idiot feel too bad for getting his car stuck in a ditch.

We were on our way from Seattle to Prosser, WA for a 5 day vacation when the unthinkable happened. Our truck overheated. It was a Sunday and we had just stopped at Snoqualmie Summit. I noticed the coolant was low and we bought a gallon of it to refill the reservoir for a whopping $ 20.00 at The Summit’s version of the Kwik-​E-​Mart. Thanks a lot, Apu! We started out again and at mile post 60, the engine light came on, the temperature was past the Hell mark, and I pulled over and searched for any towing company hoping they would be open on a Sunday. I saw Cascade Towing at Easton on my Droid and called. A man answered and said someone would get out to us in about 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, we saw a cascade tow truck and the driver, Debbie, gave us a wave. She expertly hooked up and lifted our truck onto an impressive flatbed tow truck and proceeded to haul us to the nearest restroom available. On the way, she gave us invaluable recommendations for a mechanic in Cle Elum that was right across the street from a decent hotel (see my review on Cliff’s Auto Repair. She even recommended places to eat and have coffee there. Now, that is what I call customer service at its best! Thanks to Debbie’s expert towing skills and great recommendations, we were back on the road by noon the following day. If you ever get stranded and you are within 30 minutes or so from Easton, my beloved and I highly recommend Cascade Towing and Auto Repair in Easton, WA.
