History

Established in 2010.

Established in 2010. We have been serving the local community since we started in July of 2010. Growing steadily providing excellent service to our clients, we branched out as business grew, and provided moving services to our clients expanding into other parts of the country. As business began thriving even moreso, we continued expanding and now cover the U.S. and Canada as a local business providing local and long distance moving. Our specialty is expedited long distance moving.

As someone with an Entrepreneurial mind, I decided a long time ago that business was what I wanted to get into. My mothers side of the family was always involved in business ventures at some time in their lives, and ran them very successfully! It was in 2010 when I got together with my cousin and it was there and than, that our idea came to life, and Moving in Motion was created, formed and born. Since than, we have not looked back and slowly progressed into what we have become today thanks to our awesome clients.

A little about me. Studied Arts and Science at The Pennsylvania State University for 2 years where I received my Associate Degree in Applied Science, went on to DeSales University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Like when I served in the United States Air Force in 1989, I run my business like the Military, very on key, and strictly to provide that awesome level of service to all our clients. Moving In Motion is an awesome moving company and I highly recommend them for any long distance moves. They were very accommodating to my last minute time change request and took excellent care of my furniture. Pat, Rob & Qua were all extremely personable and kept me laughing the entire time. I have moved several times in my life and this experience was by far my favorite. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thanks guys for a smooth and easy transition!

These guys are great! Highly recommend. They helped me load, drive the Uhaul truck 150 miles, unload and drop it off for me. At the last minute they agreed to help me drive my car with my dog so that I could ride my motorcycle down to my new place. They load and move furniture and boxes very carefully. I had some really big and heavy furniture items to move. They did it all with a smile on their face. Nothing broken or damaged. Very friendly and approachable crew! Big thanks!

We decided to use Moving in Motion after speaking with a friend of ours that raved about their service. They were extremely flexible and were able to accommodate our ever changing closing schedule for our new home. They arrived on time to load up all of our belongings from our old townhouse and even worked around U-​Haul giving us a smaller truck than we reserved. Our bedroom furniture is incredibly heavy and they were able to move it out of our old home and into our new home without a scratch. They were a pleasure to work with and made the chore of moving a pleasant experience.
From a time standpoint, they were able to move us out of our home in less than 5 hours. Three guys did all the heavy lifting while one stayed on the truck and carefully packed all of our belongings and furniture. They disassembled all of our furniture and carefully wrapped all of our fragile pieces before loading it into the truck. When they arrived at our new home, they got right to work unloading the truck, assembling our furniture and even assisting us with ideas of how to set up the rooms. They had the entire truck unpacked, all of the furniture reassembled and set up, and all of the boxes distributed in the right rooms in less than 3 hours. I would highly recommend Moving in Motion to all of our friends!

I have a VERY heavy dresser that we couldn’t get to the second floor of my new place. I called a couple other places who either didn’t return my calls, or told me they flat out can’t do it after seeing pictures of the situation. I called Moving in Motion and Patrick was great. He gave us a good deal, and got the job done in no time. There was no damage to the dresser, the walls, not a single scratch or dent. Amazing.
I was so happy I didn’t have to sell the dresser — thank you Patrick and Moving in Motion, you guys are a lifesaver.

After having moved into our new townhome 4 years with a hellacious moving experience, we swore that we’d never move again. Then, of course, life happened and we had the opportunity to move into our dream neighborhood. Somehow our home sold in 2 days and it was time to find movers!
I used
to read reviews — Moving in Motion had overwhelmingly positive feedback, so I put in a request for a quote. Patrick emailed me back right away to schedule a time to speak with me. He was able to confirm that they had availability in the time frame we were looking to move, explained their pricing structure, and overwhelmingly made me feel really confident that they would handle our move well. My husband does woodworking on the side, so while our townhome was small, it was chock full of his hobby stuff in the basement. Patrick told me it couldn’t be as bad as I was making it out to be, and that we’d be in good hands. When we set the closing dates, I called Patrick right away to schedule the move, and he did call to confirm closer to our dates.
The morning of our move, a team of 5 guys showed up at our doorstep, and they worked tirelessly for over 12 hours to get us moved…2 truck loads later, we had most everything moved other than a few small things we wanted to move ourselves the next day, with almost no damage whatsoever (just a little grease stain on a chair, but I would say that was more because of the flimsy moving blankets from Penske that I rented, not from their handling. Everything was carefully stacked, and I know that any other moving company we would have hired would not have gotten us moving so efficiently (Rob was the ultimate tetris man in the moving truck). The last time we hired movers, it was a quick 3 hour move and the guys we hired were lazing about after just an hour — not so with Moving in Motion. I was impressed with their can-​do attitude.
While they were not the cheapest folks I talked to, they were pretty middle of the road, and definitely a bargain when I saw how much they got done in 12 hours (I’m sure another crew may have been cheaper per hour, but wouldn’t have gotten done so quickly). I would highly recommend them to anyone moving into our out of the Lehigh Valley!
