Wall To Wall Carpet One Floor & Home

Decided to go in to see about some flooring options for our upstairs carpet replacement. The salesman we dealt with seemed to be knowledgable and very helpful in helping us to decide which route to go. They were also running a good sale which helped in the decision to go with Wall to Wall. I wish I could say our good luck with our salesman continued but it all changed before the ink was dry on my check. First off I had to pay the entire amount, even before the final estimate had been done, that should have been red flag number one. His response, «you have to pay in full in order to get the sale price, once the final estimate is done that estimated price may go down at which time we would reimburse you». After I paid we were supposed to be contacted to be told when he was going to come and do that final estimate, after never being contacted (I don’t appreciate being forgotten about, especially after spending thousands of dollars) I had to contact them. He then came out to do the final estimate in which I ended up having to pay extra for our carpet, shocking I know. He then told us that they had to order our carpet samples so we could pick out or color and they would contact us once they came in. Well again after not being contacted I contacted them at which time they said they weren’t getting samples and that I could come into the store and take their board of samples from the store and take home to compare. Well needless to say it’s a little difficult to compare color differences off of a 4×6 sample of carpet. Not only did we have those for samples our salesman was already contacting me to see when they were getting the samples back, not even 24hrs after picking them up. I was very frustrated with this place by this time and was very close to canceling my order but ended up proceeding. We were told they would contact us once the carpet came in and we would then be able to schedule a install date. Well three weeks later we finally got to schedule an install date, 4 – 5 weeks after walking into Wall to Wall. Nooooow to the install, the person they use for their installs is just one person so be prepared to help carry in your own rolls of carpet. We have only had the carpet installed for a little while so still to early to see the quality but the buying experience alone will keep me from buying from Wall to Wall ever again.

Wow, some people don’t belong in sales. My husband and I went in here to look at flooring for our kitchen, and It was a disapointing exp. There were 2 people working at the time. The sales guy was rude and never smiled once. I told him that I thought it was weird that the other flooring stores were closed on Sundays and after a long awkward silence he replied: «I’m not concerned with what the other stores do or don’t do». WTF!!! I am a Marketing /​Sales major so I like talking with people and I was making conversation. he acted like we were a waste of his time. Guess we will take our $,$$$ somewhere else. :O) Menards Here we COME!!!
