My wife & I visited this place on a sunny Saturday afternoon to enjoy a dessert and I was not disappointed. I had their death by chocolate ice cream which was mind blowing. My wife tried their mango cake shots. It was something that we have never tasted before. It was so good that we ordered few more and took it back to our place to have our friends try it out. We would definitely recommend anyone to try out this place and I would guarantee you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Chocobeanz is the best bakery! It is a small family owned business that never disappoints. Their baked goods are always fresh and amazing and their service/staff are so kind. Not my first time trying but gets better every time

After visiting the beach for sunset, I stopped by Chocobeanz with my wife to get dinner. This is not my first time visiting, but it was the first time I ate dinner there. I had an herbed chicken sandwich with two types of pesto, which went surprisingly well with crisp tangy slices of pickle. My almond joy milkshake was nutty and not too sweet. We finished with dessert. I have stopped in before to try their lemon tarts, but opted this time for a sticky toffee tart, which was very moist, almost like the base of a pecan pie. My wife and I also split a pumpkin semifreddo with caramel and ginger bread pieces. I found it to be really rich, and a few bites sufficed, but the flavors were great. It was a nice reminder that Fall has arrived.

Most people will probably stop by Chocobeanz for the desserts, but I would also highly recommend the sandwiches. I got a vegetarian option that included mozzarella and pesto on whole wheat. You can also request avocado. All the ingredients were fresh and together they were delicious. I also tried a mango and ginger smoothie. I wasn’t quite sure how the combination would work, but the owner assured me it would taste good. The ginger was in perfect proportion to the mango. The tarts here are exceptional. I’m a big fan of the lemon tarts, which are among the best I’ve tasted. This is a good place to stop by for lunch or before or after catching a movie at the theater a few doors down.

I have to be honest. I saw their page on Facebook & the bakery treats looked unreal. I stopped in tonight & got a cupcake and a rum ball to enjoy at home. Both were visually appealing but the taste failed to impress. The texture and taste told me they had been sitting in the refrigerator for several days. I hate to say it, but don’t waste your $ here.
