Since 1939, Levinson Axelrod and its committed legal team have been New Jersey’s neighborhood law firm for those in need of personal injury representation. Since Jacob Levinson and Andrew Desmond founded the firm that would become one of the state’s most prominent, it has blossomed into a respected and prestigious entity capable of handling even the most complex personal injury matters.

Though the firm’s name went through several incarnations over the years, the philosophy remains the same: your neighbors, your lawyers. My father, Jacob Levinson, founded this firm in 1939, the firm initially represented people who were injured and needed justice for their injuries. I began my career with the firm in 1954 after graduating from Columbia Law School.
