The Face Shop

The Face Shop recently opened up inside of Hmart. Now that it opened up in central jersey, it’s not necessary to go to any one of the various locations in NYC. This shop exclusively sells Korean beauty products. These products are masks, face wash, various creams (each with a different purpose), bb cream, and other facial products.
The staff is friendly and will help to their best ability. They recommend products based on how you want to fix your skin. I was a little disappointed because I didn’t get the free samples (they give out free samples out in NY locations).

This spot kicked off my obsession with Asian beauty. Been following a couple of Korean skincare blogs and was keen to pick up a cleansing oil, cleanser, toner, and of course sheet masks. Popped in on my last visit back home.
This location is small, compact, doesn’t offer your full range of products but has your basics. Picked up the chia seed cleanser, rice water cleansing oil, moisturizing toner, and 2 years worth of sheet masks (who can pass up a buy 10 get 5 free offer?). The little Korean lady there was especially helpful with her recommendations for my desert face. Woman was also heavy handed with the samples, copped a couple of additional sheet masks and tiny bottles of serum, emulsifier, and cleanser.
Again, you won’t find the full range of The Face Shop’s products here but I appreciate the convenience, don’t need to travel all the way to Flushing for your skincare essentials.

The Face Shop is a Korean skin care /​beauty product line in the H Mart supermarket. Unfortunately they don’t have custom samples like they do at Sephora and Whole Foods. I wonder what their return policy is like. Probably non-​existent. Anyway, it’s nice to browse.
