eep. jjajangmyun(#1 black bean noodle) was average(noodles were cooked perfectly but you can probably find better sauce) and gganboongi(#13 fried chicken in a sweet. sour. spicy sauce .?) was … completely tasteless… though i feel a lot more let down because the texture is theree. its all there except its entirely bland ! wahh. even salt didnt help :(thats pretty bad, mannnn.

Not enough tables. Dining area not clean. It took over 25 minutes to get food. Good was not that good for $ 59 spent I could have gone to a full service restaurant and spent less including a tip.

Set up in a row of eateries inside the gigantic H-Mart supermarket is Wooram Chinese, the sibling restaurant to Wooram Korean. The little food court is right in the front of the store as soon as you enter and it’s spacious, clean and well maintained. Wooram in particular has a tight space in a corner but they make the most out of it. Most of their dishes are laid out in a bright set of backlit photographs above the cashier. Wanting something relatively healthy and not completely made up of noodles I went with a Mapo Tofu dish, something I am quite familiar with. I noticed that they used to include meat in this dish, but it is now all vegetarian with the sauce, vegetables(including peas) and tofu being the feature ingredients. No worries, I was hoping for something relatively light. I also ordered one of their steamed red bean buns, something I don’t see much in my parts over in Elizabeth. Once you order, you’re provided with a buzzer that eventually vibrates and lights up when your food is ready. Not all the food stands there do this so it was most welcome. My food was ready within ten minutes and I went to pick it up and *marveled* at the sheer amount of food I had. The dish of Mapo Tofu was *huge* and there is no way I could’ve finished it by myself. Also included were pickled vegetables, a bowl of rice and a small soup. Add in the $ 1 red bean bun and the total came in under $ 13! Amazing bargain. The Mapo Tofu was good, definitely sweeter than I am used to. The way I usually have it prepared it has more of a chili bite to it, but I liked this style as well. The tofu was firm and had a good chew and the vegetables were nice and al dente. The soup was a really nice broth and the pickled vegetables were crunchy and sweet. Overall it was an amazing dish that could have easily fed two people by itself. The red bean bun was freshly steamed and delicious. The bread was nice and chewy while the filling was wonderfully hot. The red bean filling inside was delicious and sweet. I really enjoyed my meal at Wooram Chinese and I’m still amazed at the amount of food I got for the price. I wound up with enough of a doggie bag for another meal the next day!

It’s a Korean take on Chinese food. Me and a friend ordered the large jajamein. Noodle with black bean sauce. We also got the spicy chicken. The noodle order is huuuuuuuuge. Plenty for 3 – 4 but flavorless. The chicken was mostly batter and not too spicy. For the two dishes it was almost 40 bucks. Too expensive for food court type food. I won’t repeat. Shout out to China Star near the Pathmart on route 1 for better Korean Chinese food.

Not bad for a Chinese food inside a Korean Shopping mart. My girl ordered a spicy chicken dish with a side order of white rice. Very good and crispy. My girl loved it because it is saucy and it has a nice kick to it. Just look at the photo I took and you will see what I am talking about ;) The staff in the register was super nice. He even threw in a few scoops of rice for my girl because he knew that I was going to eat alot of rice because he saw me holding a tray with 16 wings from Kono Chicken right next door of this place.
