It’s probably a little late in the season, 9÷28÷13, but I wouldn’t buy anything they had out. It was actually disgusting. Can’t believe that they’re trying to sell that crap. We won’t go back.

As with the previous reviewers, if you are planning to do any cooking while at Edisto — this is the place to get all of your fresh vegetables. Its a bit off the garden path(off Hwy 174, then off a dirt road — just follow the signs) in a small wooden shack but dont let the appearance fool you. You can see the fields where the produce comes from and sometimes see folks in the fields picking them! Prices are amazingly low as well! The jarred stuff isnt from Pinks so dont recommend it but the pies… oh my! The pies I highly recommend. We tried the pecan, lemon meringue and key lime. WOW! A bit pricey ranging from $ 15– $ 20 but in this case, you get what you pay for!

This place is awesome for grabbing some fresh veggies. I just love the smell of the place when you walk up. Whenever my family comes to the island, this is our first stop. Okra, tomatoes, peppers, anything and everything from their garden. Pink will help you find anything you need as well. Buy all your veggies here if you can.

Totally agree with Chad. I’ve only encountered Pink at the store but I’m guessing George is working the fields or something… Either way, we buy all of our veggies here and the rest of the goods at Piggley’s when we do our annual pilgrimage to Edisto.

I’m not really sure where George came from, but most locals know this place as «Pink’s», and they’ll also tell you that they are the best, freshest, vegetables. Anywhere. Seriously. My uncle knew we were going to Edisto and he gave us this huge list of things to pick up, including things that he didn’t even expect us to be able to find(we actually were able to get a few of them). Now Pink’s is pretty much just a vegetable stand that’s off the side of a dirt road that is, itself, off the side of Highway 174. So don’t expect much. But the vegetables are worthwhile if you’re anywhere near. I wouldn’t suggest picking up the bottled stuff, as that comes from elsewhere. The jewelry is up to you — but the vegetables? Absolutely.
