Our Service area includes Snohomish to Kent and Puget Sound to Snoqualmie Pass. We use environmentally friendly products and bring a highly organized professional approach to mobile grooming for all breeds of Dogs and Cats. We pride ourselves on our innovative pet mobile design, heated hydrobath, and our Aussie Pet Mobile grooming service which assures a complete and comfortable experience for each pet.

History

Established in 1996.

Aussie Pet Mobile started in Australia by Ian Moses. Ian and Vivienne McIntosh owned a B&B and had Jack Russells whom they would hide from the guests because they were so dirty all the time. Due to their busy schedules they just couldn’t be taking the dogs to the groomers constantly. Finally, Ian found a woman who would bring a van, equiped with a bath tub, out to the farm B&B and to groom their dogs. Ian took that concept and has turned it into the number #1 Mobile Pet Grooming Franchise in the world.

We are well into our 2nd year of business and I love it. It is so rewarding to see how happy the pets are after their spa and the smile on the pet parent’s face when they have a happy, fresh smelling pet! Our first 2 (over 2 years) experiences were wonderful, after that communication and service went down hill.
We tried on several occasions to speak with Ana but she is a poor communicator and refuses to accept responsibility for her company and the actions of her employees. They are not even worthy of the 1 star

We have been using Aussie for a few years now, and love it. Our dog is getting older, and the convenience of having a groomer come to us is so valuable. The cost is a little more than an average groomer; but well worth it when you factor in the travel time, length of appointment, and if you have to drop your pet off and then go back to pick them up. Most services can be done in about an hour, it’s awesome! We had, hands down, our new favorite groomer today. Her name is Kelsi, and she was just great! She understood our older dogs needs with his reduced mobility. She called ahead, she arrived early, and was done right when she said that she would be. She was super friendly and we will definitely call her in the future.

I can’t give it more than one star because I never used them. I left two requests by email 10 days ago,; then one phone call. Never heard back. I think they must have gone out of business.
I used to see their van parked on the street near me all the time, now I don’t see it anymore. Yu would think their answering machine would give some update.

I’ve been using Aussie Pet mobile for a couple years now and have been happy. It’s very convenient, but you do pay a steep price for that convenience.
They’ve recently changed ownership (or the Sammamish owner Leon sold/​retired/​closed/​something), but we were able to stay on with our same groomer, Tara. Tara is great with my two Aussies — no complaints there. She arrives on-​time, is friendly and does quick work. My problem is with the new owner who called me to «confirm my appointment», but actually called to what I can only describe as «interrogate» me. She asked what services I paid for. I told her it changes depending on the state of my dogs. Most times they don’t need a full service, rather just a nail trim and a sanitary groom. Other times, one of my Aussies will need a «furminator» treatment. So, it depends. The owner, however, could not seem to grasp that or more likely did not believe me. She questioned me up one side and down the other, repeating her questions frequently. Was she trying to see if I’d change my responses? Does she not trust that her employee is charging me correctly? I finally told her that if my answers were not good enough for her that I’d be happy to take my business elsewhere. I’ve canceled my appointment because of this. I’m not sure I want to support a business owner who feels it’s ok to go behind her employee’s back in a distrustful manner and interrogate a client.

I have an older cat with health issues who doesn’t groom himself as well as he used to when younger, consequently his tail feathers get matted. When I try to get those matted areas out myself, I get snarled and swatted at. Plus getting the undercoat groomed is a hassle. I also didn’t want to go through the trouble of getting him in a carrier and traveling to a groomer.
I have had Alissa work on my kitty twice this year. She does a thorough job and it takes about an hour. My cat comes out looking like a new with a soft sleek coat. The other plus is that hairballs have become a thing of the past.

The concept of a mobile grooming unit sounds great — convenient for the dog owner and not as stressful for the dog as let’s say Petsmart. My experience with Ana’s business was okay. The groomer, not Ana, arrived an hour early for the appointment because of an earlier cancelation, which was inconvenient for me, but overall I was just happy that the day had finally arrived for my dog’s haircut (I had to wait several weeks to get an appointment). My dog’s haircut turned out fine and it only took the groomer 1.5 hours, which cut down on my dog’s stress level. However, it seems Ana’s services are more geared towards dogs who just need to be cleaned up, bathed, dried, ears, eyes etc cleaned. For dogs like mine, who need a haircut, it gets a bit pricy. I don’t want to pay $ 100 every 8 weeks for grooming and discounts for repeat customers are not available. I will continue searching for an alternative to Petsmart Grooming, but won’t be using Ana’s Mobile Grooming in the future.

They are clearly editing their reviews. There used to be a bunch of bad reviews that said they were hard to get a hold of, and never get back to you. I just had the same experience. I both emailed on their site and called and left a message two weeks ago and never heard back. Waste of my time and a bad way to run a business.

It’s hard to determine who benefited more from this wondrous service — me or the dog. What a joy to have someone come to you and provide the kind of attention, compassion and care that we all want for our «kids.»
My circumstances were somewhat unique in that my beloved dog, Maguire, is nearly 15 years old and I simply can’t expose him any longer to the trauma of cages, schedules, random barking, waiting times, pickup and delivery, and the general chaos inherent in grooming services. Finding Ana and Aussie Pet Mobile was the kindest thing I could have done for my aging little guy.
Ana, herself, is exactly what you would want in a groomer. She’s gentle and kind and immediately formed a rapport with my dog. You knew just by talking to her that she genuinely cares about the pets entrusted to her and that alone is well worth the investment.
But what gives this service five stars is the end result. Ana did a beautiful job on him, trimming him exactly as I requested. He was so polished, clean and fragrant in the most subtle of ways that my heart lifted in seeing his handsome little self. Best of all, he was calm, contented and happy. The entire experience from beginning to end was positively soothing. I could work without worry or interruption, knowing that my little guy was right outside the door in the pet mobile getting the tender loving care he deserves.

When my big, bouncy german shorthair dog stepped out of the van he was surpisingly calm, happy and clean! It’s a chore and time consuming to try and bathe this boy myself. Aussie Pet Mobile is great for anyone that has more important things to do with their time! Highly recommend these folks!

ARE YOU FOR REAL!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Mind you my little puppy is not little, 75lbs Pitbull/​Mastiff. He pulls 2000lbs, yes 1 Ton.
I know you probably drive a little hyundai or toyota, yes my friend will pull it out of a ditch if i asked him to for a favor for you… Cost…one scooby snack.
Anyways I never heard of such a thing… MOBILE PET GROOMING, that comes to my little shack? Are you for Real? Unbelievable? I called. They called back to set an appointment. I waited and they came on the time scheduled.
Did i say that the owner and her assistant came over my home with this GIANT GIANT BEAST of a TRUCK. These two people were tiny. But you know what i did. Quick introductions, Leash in their hands, One hour later or less… My little puppy who smelled like Pig Stye came out smelling like the blue waters of Tahiti. He was serene and they knew how to handle a beastly puppy like mine.
Oh yea i forgot… They charged Chump Change. For the hassle of them coming during peak hours, For the hassle of them coming during after hours since i worked late, For the hassle of them making my friend the most livable roomate i currently have, you cant ask for more…
I will be a regular customer. Hell why not i just sign up now for the next appointment because i know its worth my convenience. I am sorry i have to say it again…

After being disappointed with the cost to get a grooming from Petco, I started searching the internet for local pet groomer. I was hesitant to call a mobile pet groomer, and I’m SO GLAD I called! Someone answered the phone right away, answered all my questions, and their prices were totally reasonable.
My currently cat lives with another family member, and Aussie’s was so good at working with me to arrange where the cat was that needed grooming, and letting me pay for it over the phone. It seriously made the process so easy, I didn’t have to do anything but spend a total of 20 minutes on the phone to get my kitty all fresh and clean. That’s good customer service!
I highly recommend and will use them again in the future!

I called up Aussie pet groomers and was extremely impressed. I had Cathy who is an employee with them and she did the best job on our 20 year old cat! I carried her out to the van, took 45 min. total, then back inside. Usually requires a car trip and 2 – 3 hours at the groomer with a bunch of other cats and she is totally stressed out. This time other than looking great she is not stressed at all like usual. I wish I knew about them ages ago. Definately would use them again and highly recommend them.

My groomer retired so I called Aussie Pet Mobile 4 times and left a message. Never got a call back. I guess they don’t need my business so I went elsewhere.
If I ran my businesses like Aussie I would surely be out of business!

Only five stars?! I would give them infinite stars! Great service and wonderful customer service.
I used Aussie for cat grooming, and I am very happy with their service. How convenient is it to have the groomer come right to your doorstep? I’m sure all you cat owners can relate to how stressful it can be getting your kitty out the door.
My long haired cat was in need of some desperate grooming. I have been trying since my guy was a kitten to get him accustomed to brushing, but he is a feisty fella! I wanted him shaved down to about a ½″, and Kathy did a WONDERFUL job! He smelled so great and is just adorable in his little lion cut! Kathy was able to get my guy to cooperate too — I’m extremely impressed! I will definitely be using this service again.

What a treat to have Ana arrive in her Pet Spa Van and take my big black labs outside for their baths.
Labs get pretty smelly and while they love swimming, baths are a different story. They aren’t fans of Pet stores and their grooming services, so it’s so great that she comes to us!
My dogs were clean, my back was relieved and best of all, we were all HAPPY! Thanks, Ana and Aussie Pet Mobile.

Ana came right to my doorstep and loaded Bella my Border Collie right into the mobile pet mobile. Bella can be a bit high strung, but Ana handled her masterfully. A few hours later Bella was back the house tail a wagging! No more trips to the pet groomer ever again.

Ana and Aussie Pet Mobile of Edmonds are awesome! My dogs love seeing Ana come to the door. They are groomed one at a time in the van in front of my home, which is wonderful for them because there is less stress, no travel time and they are not in a cage for several hours awaiting their turn in a noisy environment. When they are all clean and shiny she walks the dog back to my door, tails wagging! Ana loves dogs and it shows. I have hired her on several occasions and will continue to do so. I recommend her to everyone in the Edmonds/​Shoreline area/​Richmond beach areas
