In response to these two posts, Teah and her massive crowd were being rude, and disrupting the work environment by congregating in front of our office. They had been told many times not to be there, and when asked to move politely the were rude and spiteful.
Regarding Janice D, This review is a clear indication of how she treats people. She’s condescending and rude. I was never abusive, disgusting, cruel or anything other than blunt, and I had to hold ground with this very aggressive mean person. She bought a policy against my advice, and then made it my fault. I rarely refuse to keep a client, but she’s the latest.
We don’t subscribe to Unilocal because anyone can post anything. Teah isn’t even a client. Janice D. is bitter because I told her to find another broker. This is ridiculous to have to see online.
Been in business 27 years, all our business is referral. For these two people to have this ability is sad and unfair.

Run away! Quickly. I’ve held my tongue for 10 months, but the situation has now moved into what would be legal action… Abusive, cruel, disgusting behavior, on a personal level, beyond the terrible business handling of taking your money and not fulfilling the service, followed by a long list of unacceptable practices that will leave you stressed and desperate… Loss of money, loss of time, loss of sleep… Nothing positive.
I am taking a major chance here even writing this, as no matter how calmly I have tried to ask for my issues to be fixed — I’ve tried every approach — calm, stern, by phone, in writing, you name it — but this review will certainly unleash a new set of hate emails from the owner of this company. He knows no off switch.
It’s not even possible to explain how terrible Bob Bethel is not only as a businessman, but as a human being. I am not surprised to read the previous review — as sadly, yes, her guess was correct. He IS just as awful & abusive to his customers — even worse.
We have been auto insurance customers here for many many years. Scott is amazing. Perfect gentleman, amazing customer service: friendly, proactive, responsive, easy breezy. Exactly what you would ask for. So when I opened my business early this year, they were the natural choice to expand our services to business needs. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE.
Unfortunately, Scott doesn’t handle business policies. That would be Bob Bethel, the owner. From Day one, problems occurred. It’s been 10 months of hell since then. (sadly, I prepaid for a year, and learned the hard way — he doesn’t refund your money for unused months, so I have been stuck)
Issues include: 1.) taking my money & not paying the carrier for 6 weeks, thus causing cancellation notices to occur. 2.) setting up incorrect policies, not applicable for my type of common business. 3.) requiring double the money to get new, correct policies set up to fix his error — then not refunding my money for 7 months (after promising it many times) 4.) not reading emails 5.) taking 2 – 3 weeks to accomplish a 1 day task, even when a deadline is critical 6.) requiring many, many reminders to accomplish any task 7.) after missing easy deadlines, sending over incorrect, incomplete documents (incorrect business name, incorrect address, incorrect information) 8.) shady practices that hinted towards faking documents just to get a deadline done 9.) lying and telling you he completed a task only to later learn it wasn’t done.
But the worst has been… When dealing with all of these errors, begging that they be fixed… He attacks the customer. Not mildly. Overt, abusive attacks. Of his customers. Yelling, screaming, vicious, personal attacks. Cruel emails saying things like «I can’t wait until you expire!» And then there’s the blame… Blaming the carrier, blaming his office staff, but most of all, blaming you, the customer. Not once or twice, but every time, for 10 months. Angry, viscous blaming phone calls & emails — telling you it’s your fault he set up the wrong policy (?) How are you the customer meant to be the expert on which exact insurance you need? Or what the steps or processes are to get it done? I clearly outlined in layman’s terms what my business entails, bulleted, organized, carefully reviewed. The very point of going to a broker as an intermediate is to trust their expertise in an area that we the public don’t commonly deal with. Yet he will blame you. And not in a «let me help explain this to you» kind of way. In a «how stupid & crazy are you» kind of way. He attacks & lies & blames ANYone else he can, other than doing the ethical proper thing which should be taking care of his customers, calmly solving any issue swiftly & politely. He’s taking your money. A service is expected. Yet this man will ATTACK & beat you down to the point of desperation. Even when you BEG «please stop these nasty emails» — he continues to badger & yell & slander.
It’s a sad, disgusting situation. So, my advice is — RUN. This is your worst nightmare waiting to happen.
Now to get ready for the hate mail… :(it’s cost me major stress & loss of sleep. 10 months of personal abuse & bullied hate speech from this man, personally attacking me & sending what reads as death threats, all in reaction to obvious issues that have been 100% his fault. It’s a straightforward thing. You pay your bill, on time. He deposits your money. Doesn’t send it to the carrier. Calls you 6 weeks later telling you «you didn’t pay, and you’re now getting a cancellation notice, and those notices are being sent to your clients…» He then tells you he sent the payment, and you learn the next day, no actually, that’s not true, he still hasn’t sent it… Hmmmm. Seems obvious, right? You wouldn’t imagine an obvious fault situation — now bordering on criminal — would end with him sending you hate emails, screaming at you telling you he can’t wait until you expire because you’re an awful person…
Again, RUN.

The owner of this place is horrible he verbally assaulted me and a few other women as our children were taking dance class in the building next door. If that’s how he treats other patrons of the strip mall makes you wonder how he treats his clients he used vulgar language in front of numerous young kids I’m disgusted by him. Only one start cause I can’t leave it with none
