We are a throwback comic book store. New and collector comics make up 90% of our business. We also have graphic novels, manga, and a few toys. We carry a wide selection of new comics and have a Pull&Hold system to guarantee that customers get the new comics they want. We specialize in service to our customers.

History

Established in 2012.

We’ve been around since November 2012 and are still growing. Not exactly new in the business, we once ran World of Comics in Pacific Beach and Comics, Etc. in Mira Mesa. In each of our stores, we have emphasized customer service and a fun atmosphere.

Read my first comic book in 1949, a gift from my father who did tons of stuff to teach me how to read as early as possible. Been reading (comic books, of course, as well as everything else) ever since. Four years in the Air Force during Vietnam (which I missed – but no Commies attacked us in the Azores while I was there). Mesa College (graduated twice), San Diego State (not even close to graduating). Jobs from taxi driver to City of San Diego employee. Published my own newspaper (twice). Ran comic book stores. Run a comic book store. Married once. Divorced once. Anybody looking to be a groupie? I like my store because I like people. Like to talk to them Like to help them find what they want. Like to be helpful. Friendly to all but the shoplifters (I really don’t like shoplifters). Want to learn more? Come on in and see me. Don’t want to learn more? Come on in anyway.
