Cartwright took care of my home and was very helpful. They showed me where I could reduce costs and make improvements to keep the pests out. I was told that my problem was coming from outside of my yard, and what I was doing already was working. So they asked it I wanted service so I didn’t need to take care of it myself and I decided not to use them since I’ve been dealing with an ant problem for years by simply spraying the house and fence. Without doing the neighbors houses I was doing the best that could be done already by keeping them out. I asked about the termite droppings that I had seen in the addict and in a wall that I had exposed and they took a really good look and told me I didn’t have an active colony this was not properly cleaned up when it had been taken care of by another service company in the past. Again they offered to clean it up, but I didn’t really feel the need to have someone take care of something that would only take me a few minutes to do.
I never felt pressured by Cartwright, and they were open and honest about the services they had and that I might want or would require (in my case, not require). If I have a problem, I’ll be calling them. Great service, free inspection, and didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything I didn’t need.
I wrote a review in the past for this, but it was deleted along with my old Unilocal account. Not sure why. Might be because I didn’t write many reviews. I only write reviews for the companies that really make an impression (Bad or Good).

I travel for business and my girlfriend saw a rat in the garage while I was gone. I called Cartwright and they were out the next day with traps and bait stations. Traps caught a couple and haven’t seen any since. On a monthly maintenance contract now and couldn’t be happier!

Kirby is great! He was able to resolve my persistent problem with bee’s. He was very kind and professional. Kirby also let me know what was happening through out the whole process. I will be recommending Cartwright to all of my friends, family and neighbors. This company is very lucky to have Kirby and I will use Cartwright for all my pest control needs!

I contacted Cartwright to complete a 2^nd opinion on a termite report that I had had completed by another company. They were very professional on the phone and got a technician out at a mutually convenient day/​time.
The inspection was completed free of charge and photographic evidence was provided to me which proved that the 1^st termite company attempted to rip me off.
I received a quote for the work needed (local treatment versus tenting that the other company recommended) and scheduled the work to be complete within a couple of days.
I should have gone to Cartwright in the beginning, but am glad that I ended up getting their report and having them complete the work needed.
Cartwright saved me $ 1200 of unnecessary work that a «national» company was recommending!

This review should be NO stars. This is truly one of the WORST companies I have EVER dealt with! Terrible customer service, ZERO communication amongst employees and within the office. I had nothing but problems from the moment I began working with them. From the looks of the reviews on this website, I see this is not uncommon & I am not the only one. I will be going to the Better Business Bureau next. DO NOT waste your time contacting this company or attempting to work with this company — it will only frustrate you, cause you problems, and waste your time. After 3 months of service (of which every appt was a nightmare & complete pain due to their lack of professionalism, customer service & communication), I canceled the service. At that time, I was told that my payments were up-​to-​date & current (I paid EVERY bill as soon as I received the invoice in the mail & NEVER missed any payment that I received). I canceled my service in August. I then received a call out of the blue from the owner (Rob Cartwright) the middle of December (4 months later!) stating that he was sending me to a collections agency for lack of payment — WHAT!!! I had not receive ONE single call or communication & had NO record of owing them anything (although ironically when I had service with them, they didn’t seem to have ANY problem sending me invoices to my address or calling me to inform me of appts (in which every time they had scheduled incorrectly)). Needless to say, I informed Rob of my dissatisfaction with my experience & his company — he said that he would check my files & return my call the next morning. He did not call (surprise, surprise). I called him again the following afternoon — he would not take my call. I then explained the entire situation to the office girl. Explained to her that I would be contacting the BBB & providing poor reviews on as many websites as possible. Please take my advise and DO NOT WORK WITH THIS BUSINESS!!! Save yourself the pain & frustration.

Run Spot Run, from Cartwright Termite and Pest Control. Very friendly while lying to you about their upcoming «service». Sent two untrained workers and refused to fix their work. Claimed to «replace a beam» when in fact they merely removed a portion of the 2″ of wood rot, puttied over it and slapped some paint on it. The putty fell out after the first rain leaving a bigger mess than I started with. I found another contractor who redid all their work for ¹⁄₃ the price. Get other estimates, but RUN from Cartwright.

Cartwright Termite did a tenting on the home I was going to rent last year. After returning I discovered their workmen stole all my beer from my refrigator and most of the Liquor from my kitchen. I called them and the owner wouldn’t speak with me and had his secty talk with me. I was told to file a police report. Having been in the real estate business for over 35 years I have never ever had something stolen from a home never the less liquor. Beware of this company.

Unfortunately there are no ½ stars on Unilocal.I initially called around to find a new service and was comparing to rates I had previously paid with other pest control companies (the one before them being Western). Cartwright fit the bill and claimed they did all the things I asked of them. NOT. Now maybe this is standard for them, but they are not the first service I’ve hired/contracted…so when a different person showed up to perform service each time, well I wasn’t very happy about that. Your person gets to know your yard, areas of need, etc. over the course of your contract. How would this happen with a different person each time? My biggest issue with them however was– when I first called one of my main concerns is for them to call prior to the scheduled visit so that I could make arrangements for the family (including pets) to leave so that they could cover the INTERIOR as well as the exterior. I have a major phobia of spiders (black/​brown widows especially). They only did this ONCE and that was the very first time. I was being billed, but not receiving the service that was agreed upon. I called, faxed notice, etc. of the fact– don’t bother coming, you can stop billing anytime now, because you are not fulfilling your contract obligation that you agreed upon. I agreed to INTERIOR and EXTERIOR not a half ass spray around the property every couple of months. I would NOT refer this company.

I called for an inspection as it looked like I had termites. The woman who answered the phone, Angelic, told me they were probably cricket droppings. I was confused, so I asked if they could send someone out to take a look at it to make sure (I was assuming they would want the business). She told me they «weren’t interested if it had already been checked out, you are just going to go with the cheapest place, why should we waste our time?»
Seriously? And the kicker, before I hung up, Angleic decided to yell at me. Super… Super.
