Boy, am I glad I came here! Recommended by a quilt teacher, I brought in my trusty little 35yr old Pfaff for a standard cleaning/​servicing. A distinguished gentleman took my machine, and assured me that the bobbin sensor– which stopped working and a Pfaff specialty store (where I previously had it serviced) said was unfixable– just needed a tweak and all would be fine. Guess what? It works!!! Happy Happy! He is a miracle worker! He and I also had a long conversation about different machines and he gave me great insight and clarity as to what my next machine will be. Thank you, Central Sewing!

Central Sewing has been a very good place for my sewing needs. They are very prompt at any repairs or just maintence. I love my Baby Loc!

This place is AWESOME! I went in here to look for a machine for my wife knowing NOTHING. The owner worked with me for hours showing my daughter and I the differences between machines and what they can and can’t do.
After our purchase, she offered us free classes the day after giving it to my wife to show my wife how to use her new embroidery machine. These classes offered were not in the normal rotation for the classes that they do teach.
I highly recommend this store to the experienced sewer and also the new person looking to begin sewing.

— sewing classes for all level sewers, sergers & embroiderers
I’ve come here for everything on that list and I’ve always had a fantastic experience.
My serger came from here, and I can take classes for free there as a result. I’ve taken one class so far, taught by the owner. She was informative, positive & encouraging, while also having a self-​deprecating and funny sense of humor. I have been happily serging away ever since, all thanks to the class!
To top it off, the gentlemen working there are quite chivalrous, carrying your machine to & from your car for you.
I only wish Central Sewing and I lived closer to each other! It’d be a much more regular stop for me!
