EC Tattoo and Body Piercing

Tony did my first tattoo last night!!! he was sooooo patient with me & such a gentleman. everyone loves my tattoo & i have two other friends ready to go with me to get some more work done! i do recommend this place! you will not be disappointed!!!

i got my boobs pierced by erica & she was amazing! im not shocked by bad reviews on her because people go out of their way to post bad stuff & hype it up. as far as infections that part is our responsibility not erica’s. she did me and my friend together & she was super clean & took care of us. i will always come here for all of my stuff this place is amazing & reasonably priced!

My dad and I both have gotten tattooed by Mike and he is absolutely amazing. He works with you to make your vision look great on the skin, super clean super tentative to details love how my work has turned out!!!

I have been coming here for years and I have never had an issue with piercings. I’m a college student so I always use my discounted 20%. I only let Erica do my piercings now. I have had my nipples, clavicles, several ear piercings, tongue, septum, both sides of my nose, labret, vertical labret, and medusa done by her. The only time I had an issue was due to me thinking I knew better. I asked for smaller jewlery then she recommended and I had to return to have her push it back out. Keep your piercings clean and size of jewlery doesn’t cause infections, you should be good. It sucks but the body commonly rejects piercings and it’s worse when you go through the money and time to make it heal. Doesn’t make it their fault. Erica has always been patient with remarking where my piecing will go until I’m happy.

I got my nipples pierced here by the other girl (not Erica) and she did a wonderful job. As that is a rather personal area she was very professional and I felt very comfortable. I would certainly go to her again for another piercing!

Got my first tattoo done by Tony. Here was extremely patient & professional. He free handed the drawing of my turtle & my dad’s initials. I would definitely recommend him!

This is by far the cleanest shop ive been in, with a great selection of body jewelry, and talented artists. When i moved back to san diego, one of the forest things i did was begin looking for a tattoo artist. For the better part of 10 years, i could not find an artist who would 1) finish a tattoo that was ¹⁄₃ done, and 2) had a portfolio that i was impressed with. A few shops were recommended, ec tattoo being one of them. It was here that i flipped through some books, and decided to talk to Isaac… He took one look at my unfinished leg, we bounced some ideas, and 6 weeks later it was done and looking great. …
Immediately after the leg, i made plans to get my sleeve done, after putting it off while my leg was unfinished. … 1 thing at a time, so to speak. I gave Isaac a few things i wanted in the piece and let him run with it. … it took about 3 months to finish, but his artwork, concept, design, and execution are top notch. He is all buisness, and very attentive, a real professional, and when it comes time for my second sleeve and other work, i know exactly who im going to.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. DO NOT GET PIERCED BY ERICA!!! She pierced my hips (dermals of course), and when she was done I complained because they were so crooked it was pathetic. She then RIPPED THEM OUT even though they were freshly implanted and re did them… Crooked again. She also pierced my nipples and my friends as well and actually pierced my friends areola (the area around the nipple.) Also mine were crooked and never healed. I also got my tongue and septum pierced by her, both were crooked and started rejecting. I’ve got 30 piercings now, all done at different parlors and they are perfect.

I was here today for me and my friend to get piercings. The ship was clean and nice, but I felt the piercing girl was rude and not personable. She was not helpful and short with every question you asked. I would not go back to this shop just for the fact that everyone has a negative demeanor in this shop.

I got two piercings from Erica and both piercings got infected. I had facial piercings for years from other piercers, and none of those piercings got infected. I made sure to go to another piercer to make sure it was not me by default. He confirmed my fears that she had given me the wrong size for that piercing. Also, she was rude when I went both times. Kinda like she had something stuck up her a**. Needless to say, I have never gone back to their shop for another piercing. Not only because my poor piercing jobs, but for a sour «professional piecer» who does not know how customer service works.

I’m in love with this place. I decided what I wanted for my first tattoo and knew that this would be the place I’d get it done. Simply because I’ve heard nothing, but amazing things about this place. Everything is super clean here. Everyone I’ve encountered is extremely friendly. And there is some really talented artists here. Tony did my tattoo and made me the happiest girl ever. He eased my nerves and made this an awesome experience. I am very satisfied and can’t wait for #2 :)

Got my conch pierced the other day by Erica. She made it a quick, easy, comfortable experience. Took less than 10 min, which I like!

Awesome! I got my first tattoo and honestly was so indecisive and I wasn’t quite sure where I wanted it and they were so patient! I had mike, he was great and super nice. I also loved how clean it was and great music! Get experience getting it done and it looks great.

This place is excellent!
My daughter and I got matching blue lizard tattoos as part of the «blue» tradition for her wedding. After having visted two other places that day (Dutch Touch, horrible! and Rockabilly, so-​so) for estimates, we were immediately impressed walking into the immaculately clean EC Tattoo in El Cajon. We were greeted by a very friendly young woman who then asked tattoo artist, Waseem, to assist us.
We liked him right away! He was very friendly and professional, and gave us a reasonable price. We scheduled an appointment with him and came back in a couple of days. He is an excellent artist and was even able to give our tattoos color shading even though they were on the small side. He also made helpful suggestions on placement and other modifications that made them both look great. I highly recommend him! In fact, my niece was there too and liked him so much she went back and got two of her own tattoos from him.
If you are looking for a tattoo artist, talk to Waseem! You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing artist named tony did my jack and he just did my hubby’s sally !!! Will be coming back to him for more work that’s for sure. He is just a great tattoo artist and has awesome taste in music to.

I got a tattoo done by Josh and the lines he did were very clean, but he applied too much pressure which resulted in the tattoo being raised for months/​almost a year. Also, he almost gave me a tattoo that was at the wrong angle. I had to tell him, but he disagreed with me. Fortunately, he took a few seconds to realize that I was right.
Overall, friendly staff.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The shop is acceptable in cleanliness from what you can see and customer service is satisfactory, but the chick who pierced my belly button totally messed it up!!! It was crooked, I even asked her to change the piercing site multiple times and she did but she couldn’t get it straight! After she pierced it I asked if it looked straight to her and she said yes, trusting her I paid and left. She used too heavy of jewelry on me and did not use surgical steel, especially not implant grade surgical steel. I cleaned my piercing site religiously and have NEVER had a reaction to metals or had a piercing I could not heal. My piercing ended up migrating and I had to remove it. Please do not get their $ 30 piercings and go to people who actually care what your piercings will look like! If it wasn’t for the people at Rockabilly Tattoo the incredibly heavy jewelry would have ripped through my skin in a matter of days. When I’m healed and ready to re pierce rockabilly will have my business!

I am an impulse type person, so when it was 8pm at night and I decided to get myself a Dermal this was the only place that was open. I drove 20 min to get it, well worth the time, gas, and money, 2 for 90 bucks I think.
Not only did they allow my little man in the room, they did such a great job that I took my BooThing to get his Dermal as well.

Thanks josh for my difficult star tattoo.. J/​k. Lol :) I’ll b back 4 my feathers. So it’s been less then a week and I’m already back. That had to mean something. this place is awesome. I will definitely be back prolly in another week. Tattoos are decent price and definitely on point.
