Revelations Tattoo

Wish I could leave no star. Bought Groupons for both tattoo and piercing. 2 of each to use as gifts. They never called me back, they never answer the phone. Bad way to run a business.

I paid for a Groupon worth $ 100 Tattoo for nothing, these people give you the run around to make an appt. They ripped me off, completely… I even called to make an appointment after it expired (I was underway at the time so it ran out) and the owner didn’t even honor a discount when Groupon clearly states that the offer may expire but the money you pay won’t vanish into thin air… and that’s exactly what happened. Revelations needs to have a revelation about why the hell they own a business that screws it’s Paying customers over. great job, crooks.

Myself and my daughter went into this shop about a year and half ago also with our groupons which was our christmas presents to each other… this guy who claims to be a professional tattoo artist is a rip off and cant tattoo for shit… he completly destroyed both of our tattoos wanted more money for his crappy work, since then my daughter has had to spend 400 to try to have hers fixed… mine is still unreadableand a shame… this man should not be allowed to have his business on groupon nor shoukd he be allowed to continue to tattoo people

Had an awful experience with this shop. Bought Groupons for my boyfriend and I. The original person we spoke to was great and helped design the tattoo my boyfriend was going in the next day to have done. Then the next day when he goes in there is a different person there, who is the owner Anthony. He was very rude and only completed about a third of the Groupons value before saying he was done and wouldn’t do anymore. And what he did do looked incomplete and badly done. He said we needed to pay more if we wanted it finished. I will be calling Groupon to ask for a refund on both of my coupon purchases. My boyfriend will now have to get the tattoo fixed at a different shop. Extremely dissatisfied.

I dont know why I waited so long to review this shop. My friend and I saw a great deal on livingsocial in July 2014 and we both bought them so we could get some tats together.
That was probably our first mistake, because I will never use «deals» on a tattoo ever again. I believe the deal was $ 50 dollars for $ 250 dollars of work. I had in mind a skull design with flowers for the eyes. Mind you, i only wanted an outline of the skull and for the flowers to be shaded with color. Not a whole lot of detail going on here.
My friend wanted a liptstick, and hair cutting scissors to represent her professions.
Making an appointment was a pain, we had to call a few times to finally speak to someone.
They told us to come in for a consultation, so we did and met with a guy who told us we’d have to pay $ 60 of our deals towards him drawing up the design. Are you kidding? We had the designs printed out for him to use. If tracing a design on tracing paper is worth $ 60 dollars…
So then we scheduled an appt for a week later. When we got there, a completely different guy was there. We were actually relieved because he didnt seem as slimy and didnt ask us for a tracing fee. We soon find out that the guy who will be doing our tats is the owner. At this point we were excited! We let him know we wanted to keep within thr 250 dollar limit…
I went first, he told me that my tat would have to be a little bigger for detail. We agreed on a size a bit bigger than i originally wanted, but i mentioned that it wasnt a whole lot of detail in the first place.
He began the outline of the skull and of the flowers. He then informed us that if I wanted it finished, it would actually cost 100 dollars more. What the fuck? So 350 dollars total for some lines and shaded flowers? No.
My friend went in with hers next, which were much smaller. Maybe the size of two quarters each. Hers would certainly be finished within the limits of the deal, right? Nope, wrong. He told her the same thing, and quoted her at the same 100 dollars. We told him we’d rather not finish our tats there.
I suppose this was partially our fault, for even thinking that a shop like this would live up to its «deal» without scamming the clients. Boy were we wrong.
Also, the work wasnt that great, uneven lines, some scarring and my friend and i left with outlines on our arms.

I recently got a tattoo done by matt and it’s amazing!!! It was colorful and great he is really good at his work. I would highly recommend going there and getting tattoos by him. Definitely will be going back for more.

I never even got a chance to experience this shop, but I’ve called twice during business hours inquiring about a piercing, and no one answered or returned my call – poor customer service – and when I saw online that they’re on groupon… cmon. They shouldn’t be doing that. Their website has nothing regarding piercings, just a statement saying they do them. Not getting a third call from me.

My experience was awesome. I knew what I wanted, but AJ copied it and made it perfect. He is super friendly and made me feel relaxed. I would definitely go back for future work.

I am going to be very honest and say I’m pleased with the work Jake did today! Me and my little sister came in with and idea and he made it happen. The atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting too! Thanks for the good work and hope to get more done there in the future!
