Lived in Imperial Valley most of my life and thought I had the best Carne Asada and Pollo Asada ever made… Not! I was recently turned on to this Gem in the east county. Hands down the best you will ever find. Everyone that tries it agrees. Little pricey but the quality exceeds the price.

The best carne asada! Never ending compliments. Everyone kept asking me where we got the meat! We had a bday party for 65 people, 30 pd of meat & no left overs. I would take a photo but it’s all gone ! You won’t be disappointed. Nom nom (written by Bill Dunning) thank you good job Roy!

This place has the best carne asada EVER. I know the title, ‘Food Farm’, doesn’t seem like it knows anything about how to marinate authentic carne asada but trust me it’s amazing. My husband and I used to live downtown and despite this we made the drive to Lakeside for every special occasion or BBQ cause their meat is the best. Try the Pollo asado too, you won’t be disappointed :)

This is my uncle’s place and I worked here in high school, but all that bias aside, it is BY FAR the best carne asada in San Diego. You can check the map behind the meat counter to see where this stuff has been shipped out. I moved to SF recently and he still sends me this stuff because I get the shakes if I haven’t had it for a month. If you don’t believe me walk around lakeside (maybe not at night though) and ask anybody in the town where the best Carne Asada is!
