Not satisfied. Air bubbles under new glass in iPhone. Lady said its normal and cannot guarantee that there will not be any bubbles under screen. Told me if I pay $ 40 more they could replace lcd screen and glass and there would not be any bubbles. Already paid $ 210 for new screen now another $ 40 SCAM.
FIND ANOTHER PLACE THAT IS UPFRONT FROM THE BEGINNING.

Ok, I don’t write many reviews but felt this was well deserved. Cracked my screen on my Samsung S5 and was told to try a few places at the local mall. Quoted $ 230-​$ 250 to replace the screen and LCD without even testing if the LCD needed replacing. Jason from Phone Zone warned me the LCD might need replacing based on the area of damage. Went to pick up my phone 2 hours later and Jason informed me there was only one barely noticeable spot of damage to the LCD and was able to only replace the glass! $ 70…done and done! Honesty is rare these days and is greatly appreciated! I’ll be referring plenty of business to Jason and the Phone Zone!

Highly Recommended! I had water damage on my iPhone 6 (apparently these phones cannot be a room with a humidifier for long periods of time) and I also replaced the broken screen on my back up iphone 5 — all the work was done within 2 hours and my phones look brand new! Amazing customer service by Steven and my gosh, excellent customer service, honest, reliable and just an awesome experience! Additionally, Phone Zone kindly placed a tampered glass screen on both phones as a courtesy. I am so impressed and would give this place 10 stars if I could — additionally. they give you a warranty. On a side note, very cute cases at 3 for $ 20 and in regards to the location — perfection with ample parking. Last but not least, I love when you go somewhere and they dont try to upsell you (that does not happen here — no pressure) and they give you useful information.

Best place in san diego to get your screen fixed or get anything else repaired they are cheap and use high quality materials for the stuff you need for your phone

Do not be fooled by all the good reviews. These people are shady. Their bad reviews are bad. It’s clearly simple and inexpensive for them to fix Iphone screens wich r the good reviews. Samsung and other repairs seem to be a problem. I was waiting for my boyfriend to get out of court for a traffic tik so I didn’t want to go far w out a working phone and get lost. Online and on their store door states they open at 9. I sat since I had nothing better to do. I saw people come and go checking the time on the store door. 6 customers they lost. 11:15 and finally they r open. I got a shady vibe instantly speaking to man w beard but I didn’t want to waste anymore time going somewhere else. He told me the one who actually does the phone repair wouldn’t be there for an hour. LMAO. Awesome so I went to pick up the boyfriend and came back. They fixed my phone in half an hour. Hours later half my phone screen to my Samsung was not glued and popped up. U could see inside the phone. When I continued to push it down I then realized the screen was not a flat screen they had put on there cuz it continued to pop up. Had to hold the screen down for it to connect for the front camera. In reading a few reviews of phones working less when screen replaced, and one where a woman actually had parts missing from her phone, I decided not to go back. Being said that I enitialy did not appreciate the desk woman going back and forth to whisper in the back w the guy about my phone status. Y couldn’t the man repairing my phone tell me what’s up w my phone. This place should just stick to Iphone if they r trying to scam people into a job they can’t do or dishonesty to make money off of u.

Steven was awesome and in today’s in age it’s hard to trust people. The phone zone fixed my dads iphone 6plus with no problems. I can say it’s nice to have places like this that you can trust in a bind.

Are you in the zone like I am?! Just got hooked up with all the latest greatest. Even got the inside scoop as to how to prevent the screen from breaking after replacing it (replace the frame along with it). Walked out with an otter box, tampered glass screen protector, and a car USB charger all for about $ 65 bucks! You get HALF OFF second purchased accessory after a case, I believe. Many miles, many smiles. Sunshiney service San Diego deserves!
If you guys read this, may I suggest stocking UV filtering /​blue blocking screen protectors. It might seem obscure, but I believe they are growing in popularity /​awareness. Cheers!

I can’t say enough good things about Steven, Jason, and their whole team. Since I have the world’s worst luck with phones, I see them quite often! I have bought phones from them, had them repaired by them, bought all my cases from them all for a fraction of the price you would pay going to the actual phone stores such as AT&T or verizon. Their customer services goes above & beyond any expectations. They make me feel like family and I never feel like I am being ripped off. It’s unfortunate that I break my phones so often but fortunate to have them in the neighborhood to always hook me up with the best deals in town! If your having any troubles finding a decent honest place to buy a phone or have it repaired, phone zone has your guys!!!

Went into sprint yesterday and said they couldn’t help me so I immediately called phone zone not knowing they were closed on Sunday’s, left a voicemail and they got back to me ASAP this morning, Jason (amazing) told me to come in so he could look at my phone. He and the tecs said no problem easy fix and had it done in less than 30 minutes. I love this location and the people that work here ! Amazing consumer service and work as well

Very, very, very… very …very, very… very dissapointed.
I went to Phone Zone when visiting San Diego for a wedding I was part of. I had dropped my phone, and needed the screen replaced. I was told that the screen was damaged and so was the LCD, and thus, I had to have both repaired. This would cost me around $ 240 and even as I was not feeling good about it I did because I needed my phone. I was also informed that I would have a lifetime warranty available for the screen and LCD and the the procedure would void my warraty with Apple.
The very next day the phone began acting up, and the touch screen would not respond. I had to ask someone to come to the wedding I was attending to grab the phone for me and return it, as I was leaving early the next day. Steven (from Phone Zone,) quickly fixed the phone and we were seemingly back in business.
I was in San Diego one more night before I left town. and the minute my plane landed in my home town the next day, the phone would not work upon power up. Unresponsive and flashing screen. I knew I was going to be back in San Diego so I waited, and brought it back when I visited again.
Here’s where is got really screwy. Not only did the THIRD time I went there take a total of almost 2 hours to get anything serviced… but in actuality, nothing was resolved. I was told straight to my face when I arrived — «I am going to take care of you today and I will not let you leave here without a new screen.» Not only did that statement turn out to be false, but they went so far as to tell me that it was no longer a screen issue. Also, that I clearly dropped the phone again after they fixed it, and that there was water damage and possibly cracks in the screen. None of those things are true in any sense. I stated to the salesperson that was helping me this time, his name was Jason, that none of those things happened. He said, «Great then we are all good.»
We were not all good.
The situation degraded from there. It became a constant situation of Jason going back to the ‘back room’ and having conversations with his manager about how to move forward. Now, according to them, the issue was the motherboard.
The situation got so diluted and quickly went from guest service to sales only. This is right about when I checked out. I mentioned that I was not going to pay them for anything esle, as I don’t have the money for it. and especially given that I had already spent $ 240 and nothing had been resolved. I casually brought up that I was going to have to now pay the $ 175 deductible to the insurance company to get a new phone. It then became a game of offering me deals and saying that they would pay me the $ 175 for my phone, to «help me out,» and sell my phone for parts. That I could take a loaner phone, and «if I felt like it. I could keep the loaner and leave my 128gb iphone 6 plus with them to keep for parts…» That was not cool and it was a really weird and desperate vibe. So I asked for my phone so I could get going.
The phone was taken, once again to the back and 15 minutes later the situation and offers were repeated, because Jason didn’t think I understood the deal he was trying to give me.
I once again, mentioned that I needed the phone and needed to go. Reluctantly, I was handed the phone but told, once again, that I would be given $ 175 cash for my phone if I wanted.
I had to go. this was going no where.
It’s extremely dissapointing and I am left with a $ 240 hole in my wallet and a phone that is less responsive than when it was broken.
This is my experience, and it wasn’t the best one, it was a bad one. I will not ever go back and I am suggesting you be very clear about what is going on, should you decide to try and do business with Phone Zone Wireless.

Steven was great!!! We learned so much about iPhone screens. He repaired my daughters iPhone 6s on the spot in 14 minutes and gave us a free protection screen. Best deal in town and outstanding customer service! We have 6 kids and they all have phones we will be sending our cached phones and tablets always their way! They also have a smaller shop in Rancho San Diego!!! Best place ever! Thanks again Steven!

I shattered my iPhone screen a few weeks ago and was referred specifically this Phone Zone and now I know why. Steven and Jason were kind enough to stay and wait for me to come in and get my iPhone screen replaced even though they were minutes from closing. They are incredibly friendly, personal and professional. My phone was resurrected in less than a half hour and he was very thorough when applying the screen protector on top. I would absolutely recommend their service to anyone in need of any repair! Thanks again Jason and Steven :)

These guys are awesome! Jason the owner is great and treats you like family. The charging port on my phone wasn’t working right and they were able to fix it and it now works like new.
Phone Zone really does a great job. They’re honest, affordable, and have your best interest at heart. I highly recommend them as they do such a great job!

only love for these people. I don’t live anywhere near the store and just happen to be near by when I noticed their storefront. I had dropped my samsung galaxy and it appeared the screen has shattered in a couple of places. I stopped in fully prepared to pay box for a screen and possibly digitizer repair. the guy behind the counter gave me a smile and peeled off the heavy duty gorilla glass type protector on my phone which was in pristine condition. How easily I could have charged me triple before time what I paid for a new protector. I didn’t know that the projector was on there and it done its job, meaning the screen was not shattered. Props to these honest folks, we need more like them.

Came into the Store in Friday and met with JASON, he was really Nice, help me with everything I needed basically he took good care of me followed by the best customer service. Phone zone is the BEST

Dropped my LG G2 and even with the Otter Box the screen cracked. Normally I wouldn’t worry about the minor damage, but the screen wouldn’t respond to any inputs. Jason was extremely nice and told me it could be done that night if I wanted to go get dinner and come back. He gave me a 10% military discount and threw in a free tempered glass screen protector. Phone works great and with the new screen looks great.
Because of how tight the Otter Box fits on my phone, it was just a little harder to get the case on with the tempered glass screen protector, but it still fits.
Lifetime warranty on the repairs as long as there is no damage to the screen or liquid damage. So if the screen starts to fail or separate, they will replace at no additional cost.

So… first off I was very bitter entering this place. Knowing I had to pay $ 89 plus tax just to fix my screen on my iPhone 6. But hey, who else to blame but myself. The women in the front was supppppper friendly and did her best to not make me feel so bad about myself haha turn around time was about an hour. As much as I recommend this place I hope to not have to return lol. Awesome customer service.

I broke my iPhone 6 screen and needed it fixed asap. Apple Store wanted too much and appointments were 3 days. I live close to Santee and I know of a repair shop there but have heard a horror story about the place there. So I checked Unilocal and found PhoneZone… Glad I did, Walked in and was
Greeted by Renee she explained the whole process, prices, and warranty. This place is very professional and prices are better than others I checked. My phone was done in 30 minutes and they were busy! I am very picky and my phone really looked like new. Renee even gave me a free screen protector but I wanted the tempered glass instead which was offered with a discount if you fix your screen there. Overall very happy with PhoneZone great staff and service. I’m taking my iPad next week.

Amazing customer service, really fast and really reasonable prices. I had a iPhone 5s screen repair it was 75.00. And they have amazing deals for cases, I got my bumper for only 3 bucks. I recommend this shop to everyone with any phone issues
I went on Unilocal and searched for a repair shop and this one had the best reviews so I gave it a go and I’m so glad ! I live maybe 15 – 20 mins away, worth the distance
