Do not ship your packages here! They are ripping you off and should be ashamed. The owner, George is nice, but the young lady, who is a notary, has a bad attitude. Never smiles and acts like she is doing you a favor by waiting on you. I shipped a 3 lb small box and it cost me $ 25!!! That is insane! I have been going here for quite some time but it has gone downhill since Nancy sold the business. You can go to the UPS or FEDEX store on Jamacha… They don’t gouge you! I will not use this business again.

Went in here for the first time today. First of all, slowest service ever. The girl there took her sweet time and kept going on the phone and ignoring the people in there. When I got to the front, I was only shipping off a single book. She told me «the most economic option for you would cost $ 29.» The screen was displaying in front of me and after debating a bit, I told her there’s no possible way this book costs $ 29 to ship, and she clicked something on the screen and said, «oh look, actually the best option is only $ 8!» She knew from the start that there was a cheaper option but tried to get me to pay extra for no reason. That’s a terrible way to run a business and I’ll never come back to ship anything here.

I’ve used this friendly location over a handful of times now. I’m really happy with their services here. The lines are usually 0 – 3 people in front of me and it always moves quickly in my opinion.
Passport: The first time I came here was for my passport photos. It’s not cheap but it’s not expensive and the 2 photos came out better than what I had taken before at a live scan location in Mission Valley. The gentleman working told me they do passport renewals and send them off for you. A one stop shop! Perfect sign me up! I already had the paperwork filled out at home but they can give you the correct forms to fill out there. Follow the directions, write the check, and pay for it all there at the counter and they send it away. It only took less than 4 weeks and I my new passport arrived. Thanks a ton!
Packages: I have a lot of packages to send out with online sales or during the holidays. Postal Annex does such a great job making sure the labels are correct, what’s the fastest or cheapest way of sending it, their prices are reasonable, tracking numbers are correct, and they receive the packages on a quick timely manner. I highly trust this location with my personal items and packages.
The store itself is very small. Cards, envelopes, packing supplies, nicknacks, small gifts, key chains, are all on sale as you enter the store. They have mailboxes, a printer, offer a keys made here service (they have fun designs to choose from) and usually 2 employees working diligently.

Absolutely the MOST amazing customer service I have ever received from a shipping store! I ship here quite often because George and his staff are such a welcoming and positive team that make me want to come back more! It ins’t just a shipping store which I LOVE! I can turn their store into my own personal home office. From Notary Services to making beautiful copies of my most treasured family photos — they do it all! I recommend every one to come and use their services. I promise you wont regret it!

This is the best Postal Annex I’ve been to. They don’t just ship stuff and notarize documents BUT they offer superb customer service. George and everyone there are very nice and helpful. I have been going there to send packages for quite some time and recently wanted to notarize a large document so I decided to go there. They did not only review the document carefully to make sure everything is done perfectly but they did care about us as customers and that’s what makes the difference. I definitely recommend this Postal Annex to everyone!

I recently required the services of a Notary Public and on-​line search «found» this business in my area. I called in advance to determine when a Notary would be on site. I received excellent COMPETENT service from a diligent Notary Public who KNOWS her job. This business offers a wide range of services from stamps and related services to making keys.

NOT ALL POSTAL ANNEX STORES ARE ALIKE! I’ll try to make this more brief than my other reviews that I’ve posted today about merchants in my neighborhood.
The people in this place are busy-​busy-​busy. And no wonder. They are great at what they do and are super friendly. Recently I had to get a huge document notarized with my wife and it took longer than usual because of its size — but we were helped and not rushed, despite the line gathering behind us. Another staffer just came to the rescue and helped reduce the wait time for others being caused by US.
The owners are a very charming and attractive couple, John and Nancy Howard. I gleaned this only because I took a business card. I would not have known their names otherwise. Charm and attractiveness doesn’t always translate into good and solid efficient service. But in THIS CASE — IT DOES! There are many Postal Annex stores and I’ve been to about six or seven over the years, depending upon where I am during any given day. But I get great comfort knowing that the best is in my own backyard.

Rude, rude, rude!!! This used to be THE best place to get stamps, mail packages overseas and within US, photocopy and get notary services.. . unfortunately, it is under new ownership and they are HORRIBLY RUDE! I have been going in to this place for years and since Nancy no longer owns the facility, it has really degraded. Not only did I have problems with them today, but one of my neighbors was in yesterday and couldn’t believe how horribly they were treated.. . my recommendation: if you can go elsewhere: do it!

Great place to grab stamps, and mail packages. I don’t even bother going to the post office. This is a small family business, and they go out of their way to give a personal, friendly touch to all transactions.
