:) oh this is the place to be in Rancho San Diego. You see everyone uncles, aunts and family friends. It’s fantastic(sarcasm) … Drinks and service is nice I’ve never had a problem very attentive and the barista actually talks to you.

Love this Starbucks«family» …great staff, like the old neighborhood coffee shops, where everyone knows your name and in this case, your coffee! I wanted a rich French Roast(the location doesn’t have the Clover Press) so they pulled out their French Press and… delicious! Lots of outdoor seating, love my RSD mornings there!

This location is almost always packed. As in grab a seat or table fast since it will be snatched up. I usually avoid this location because of all the old men outside gambling and smoking. Ask any employee or local in this area and they will know. Inside the Starbucks is very nice and so are the employees. The cup fell on the counter and they were quick to clean up and ask if my husband was ok and if they could make another one for him in which they did. They didn’t make a big deal since it probably happens more often than not. Understandable. That’s what I call Quality customer service. This visit was great since it was raining outside, there was no one sitting outside gambling and smoking. I ordered the new Teavanna citrus green tea latte and it was so delicious, and uplifting. Can’t wait to get another one. My hub got his usual a mocha coffee. Our son got a kids cup of steamed milk without the added vanilla syrup this time. Ordered the everything bagel and cream cheese lightly toasted and a maple walnut muffin which was more dry and crumby rather than moist inside. The store was stocked with fresh pastries, sandwiches, bananas, and all the normal goodies. The merchandise in the corner was stocked well full of reusable, keepsake, and collectors Starbucks cups.

I frequent Starbucks regularly, various locations. Today, My 3 year old daughter and I went today to enjoy a coffee and birthday pop. We couldn’t find a seat outside due to larger groups of men taking up all the seating, chatting, playing games and SMOKING! I will not sit and enjoy time with my daughter while inhaling second hand smoke. The Barista came out and kindly asked if they would not smoke. They immediately began accusing the Barista of being RACIST! I was in shock. Complete shock! The law enforcement was called and sadly did nothing. Employees have tried addressing this issue in the past from what I heard as I complained of my concern. Apparently, this is an ongoing issue at this location and the gentlemen smoking and taking up the seats for hours called Starbucks Corporate claiming racism and received Starbucks gift cards? What??? The rest of us not being able to sit at a table and inhaling second hand smoke should be compensated. Something needs to be done about this issue and Starbucks employees need to be backed up from law enforcement and corporate.

Good customer service and was really quick for me to get my drink! Just don’t like the«illegal gambling ring» outside. Often times there aren’t even chairs for you to sit down in. But its close to home so why not!

This is my favorite Starbucks in El Cajon, I’ve been coming here since we first moved to this neighborhood. The Barista’s are always nice and accomadating to their customers. The café is clean and always full of merchandise. There is no drive thru, which I like because you get to interact with the baristas that make your drinks. The ONLY issue I have with this location is the smelly smoking done by the old men outisde of Starbucks. I understand that they are old and they have a right to indulge in Starbucks, BUT they smoke a lot! and it’s not just cigarrettes, it’s hookah and cigars… I can’t stand it, and I’ve asked them nicely to stop and they just ignore you. I’ve complained to the manger at Starbucks and he told me that he couldn’t do anything about it because they were not inside, but everytime the door opens the smell creeps in. I can’t even come and enjoy some coffee while I study because of the smell. I really HOPE Starbucks could uphold the no smoking allowed policy.

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks since I was little, and its always been great. But I agree with everyone else! The older gentlemen club that had sprouted ip has completely kind of ruined the whole vibe of the place. I go here because its close to my work, and my home and school. And I will continue. I just wish they had a designated area, or had a limit to the amount of tables they can horde.

Nice location with plenty of parking. Easily accessible from the road. It could be a little bit cleaner. It was kinda messy and dirty the first time I went. Doesn’t have much space to sit inside but it has plenty of space to sit outside. Service was fast the two times I have been there and the staff is super nice.

I never go to this Starbucks anymore. It’s been taken over by large groups of men, sitting all day playing cards and trying to negotiate drink prices with the poor baristas inside. They need to get jobs.

Coffee is good. Service is good. Outside seating used to be pleasant. Problem is the group of about 40 older men who sit around outside and smoke cigars and cigarettes. It stinks.

Love the coffee but not the huge group of older men that sit outside and take up all the tables and chairs for hours. It’s about 40 men. More like a social group. I guess I will just have to drink my coffee in my car.

Usually nice service it just sucks that almost every time I go there you mess my drink up! It says no whip on the cup! How hard is it to not put it? This regularly happens to the point it’s too often to have to keep waiting longer for a new one. I know it’s not a big deal but when I pay $ 5 for a drink at least make it right.

Whenever I’m late this Starbucks knows how to handle me on the go! Super sweet Starbucks, cool vibes, fast, efficient, and coffee is always the best.

I didn’t take a picture because the old ones already posted by Unilocalers are still accurate. So, the initial takeaway is that this place hasn’t been remodeled to more current SBUX standards. But in two other ways it is very current. First, it has free wifi from Google instead of AT&T. Connects quickly and easily. Second, it has a wide variety of food offerings from La Boulange. So, two stars for ambiance but four stars for the edibles, hence my three star rating.

I used to love this place because of the location(close to my school, so it was easy to get to for study sessions) and the staff is awesome! But lately it seems to have been taken over by what looks like an illegal gambling ring! I can’t believe they are allowing this to happen! It’s just uncomfortable and so rowdy. Strongly recommend you choose somewhere else to go if you prefer a peaceful environment.

How could one be different from the rest? Drive-through vs. no Drive-through: In genereal any Starbucks with a drive-through is very convenient and yes the lines will be long so it depends on your strategy for the day. My own strategy is to scope the line of cars and at the same time taking a peek at the java-straved folks in the store. On my particular visit I only saw a few folks inside so I decided to order my drink inside. The holidays are here so I order my non-fat Venti Crème Brulee. The order was ready rather quickly so my gamble for today paid off. The place was clean and as usual filled with happy smiling partners. I am terrible with names so I forgot who gave me what but I am content and my java fix for the day have been taken care off. Off to the next SBUX…

This is another of the many Starbucks that are in my area where I reside. I have frequented this location over the years. They have never let me down. This morning I had their Christmas drip blend with a touch of room. I also ordered a petite vanilla bean scone. Both were great, but the only complaint I have about this location, which is strictly personal, is the amount of smoking that can occur on the outside patio. You see, they have a large outside patio where many people, especially in the evening, tend to congregate and hang out and smoke as they enjoy their Starbucks. There is nothing wrong with that, but being a non smoker, sometimes you have to hold your breath as you walk by to get inside. The good thing is that there are a number of other locations nearby where this does not occur.
