2 Day old donuts, cold coffee, melted ice cream and bums asking you for money at the door. Typical 7⁄11 experience. If it just wasn’t so profitable being so terrible.

7-Eleven is basically liquor store of McDonald, they are everywhere. This is like your typical 7-Eleven, most of the same stuff, the parking is smaller than other. But is not as busy so it makes sense. The street traffic is quite heavy, so you have to be careful getting in and out of the area. Customer service overall is good, their hot dog does look like been there for days. I never understand why 7-Eleven do not have gas station, they sell more stuff and cheaper price than most other Liquid Store I see.

I am hesitant to write a review for 7-Eleven since it’s a huge chain. However, I’ve come to appreciate this place and how warm the owner is(I’m bad with names, so pardon). He is always happy to see you, and likes to ask a bunch of questions(in a good way of course) about who you are to get to know you. Besides… 2 glazed donuts for 99c? I’M THERE! I don’t know what’s more heavenly? A donut… OR… TWODONUTS for 99c?! Oh boy oh boy! Diet will have to wait another day.

We come for slurpees everytime we reach that moment of spontaneity for a cold beverage. One day… my dude behind the counter said they aint go no lids… aint go no lids? My brotha, how am I gonna fill my slurps to the top? He said«I don’t know.» Walked out with my aluminum straw(because every slurpee enthusiast should own one) and bounced to the 7 Eleven on Mission Rd near Rosemead Blvd with the Obama T Shirts.

It’s convenient, that’s for sure. It’s at the right location where everyone has to come down the street on Baldwin Ave to get to the(10) San Bernardino Freeway. I’ve stopped here many of times but sometimes it’s unavoidable. When you’re thirsty, you’re thirsty. I try not to stop here at night. Just to avoid some of the shady characters around this area. Know what I mean, Vern?
