Dr. G has been my dentist for years and now he is also my sons dentist. He and his staff are very accommodating and helpful in figuring out what will work best financially for my family and I. Not to mention everyone is great with my son. They take walk ins and open Saturday. What else do you need :)

Awesome dentist! I’ve been coming to this dentist for a couple years off and on. I finally decided to finish up all my work and let me tell you they work with you and let you know everything up front. The girls are super nice always attentive. Dr. G is the best! I’d recommend this dentist to anyone!

Best dentist ever. I have been coming here for years with my whole family. Dr Raffi is amazing. He takes all the different insurances and does teeth whitening also. The office staff is friendly and makes us feel like family every time we go. I don’t even get nervous anymore. Definitely the right place to go for all your dental needs.

Dr G is the best !! His staff is very attentive, they make sure you are comfortable and all your questions answered. I am very pleased with his work on my teeth– had two root canals done Very professional & beautiful work. He also gave me tips how to clean difficult areas of back teeth and stay cavity free. Can’t wait to go back for a check up & hear I have no more cavities !!

Dr. G and his team are awesome!!! I wouldn’t trust my teeth with anyone else. From a regular cleaning to a recent visit for a crown I’ve had nothing but great experiences with him. The staff are friendly and Dr. G is very attentive and does a great job of making you feel comfortable. Coming from a dental chicken who avoided going to the dentist, I’ve never felt better about having to go to the dentist. And I almost forgot to mention his prices are very competitive. If your looking for a dentist or even a second opinion I suggest giving Dr. G and his crew a try. Highly recommended!!! Thanks again Dr. G!!!

I’ve been coming to Select Dental Practice for years now! I moved from El Monte to Irwindale a couple years ago and I still drive to El Monte for dental services because I love this place! Veronica the receptionist is nice, friendly and always has a smile. She makes me feel very welcomed every time I come in. Dr. G is great! He has treated my 2 younger siblings as well. I have never had a problem. They always work around my busy schedule but always accommodate me to theirs. I work in DTLA so my commute is long but they still manage to work with me. Walk-​ins are always welcomed and the past times that I’ve called to go in without appointments they take me in. The wait time is not long and the services are great. I am content with Select Dental Practice and will continue coming here! I recommend everyone to try this place you won’t regret it! I came in with a sever toothache my previous dentist couldn’t help me he wanted to refer me to an specialist for a root canal. A friend of mine recommended Dr G. /​Select Dental Practice .She has been coming to Select Dental for years.
I needed a root canal on my lower back molar. They took an x-​ray Dr. G. Looked at it with no big deal. He has a lot of experience. He did the root canal and a crown with no pain or discomfort.
Excellent doctor and staff. His staff assistant and front desk have been with him for over 10 years. nice family atmosphere they treat you really good.
Best of all your PPO insurance goes a long way .

I’VE been coming to this dentist for 3 years and ever since, I found out they are very reasonable in prices and with no surprise add on charges, Veronica the receptionist let’s you know exactly what your in for and that is such a relieve. she is very attentive and organized. Dr. G is very professional and definitely treats the pearly whites with much care. I feel safe and happy when I leave my appointment each time I go knowing they don’t try to sell things I don’t need and also are very much honest. AND MY TEETH GET THE CARE THEY NEED. I recommend this DENSTIST office if your intentions are to get exactly what u need with no extra charges what so ever. :)

Select Dental has me & my family as their patients for life! Dr. Guedikian is very personable and informative including his staff. The atmosphere is kid friendly; meaning they enjoy your kids and are not bothered by their incapability of sitting still. They know how to handle them :) They work with you and we feel very comfortable with everyone there. I’ve noticed they all have established relationships with their patients. So as soon you walk in those doors, Veronica will say, «Hi Mr/​Ms…» I love that! Presentation speaks volumes to me too and I know I’m not alone. I had a bad tooh ache and I was unable to find any dentist that would see me right away and as soon as I called Select Dental they made me an appointment for the very next day. They found that I needed a root canal and since I really hated going to the dentist I thought this was really bad but my whole experience with Select dental and Dr. G was great. they took care of me and my tooth ache. My insurance didn’t cover all the work so they worked with me and helped with a very affordable payment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. G and his staff to anyone. they are very professional and friendly.

My husband and I both came in and got treated here. Dr Guedikian was great. The staff was super helpful and always smiling. The office was clean and even smells sterile. They even offered my husband a payment plan for the stuff his insurance wouldn’t cover.

I was in a lot of pain and a co-​worker recommended I went here. I knew I was going to need a root canal, but it turns out I also have cavities. My insurance didn’t cover anything, but they work with you and allow payments. From the minute I walked in they were attentive and friendly. The wait was non existent since they had me finish the paperwork while the doctor saw me. Although, I had to return to finish the root canal, I got painkillers from them and that helped until my next visit which was that same week. I highly recommend this dentist, they’re all very courteous and friendly, and will go out of their way to help you out and work with your situation. I even took my mom there, and my brother also started going.

The only reason I came here was because I was under my parent’s insurance and we were assigned to this office. My brother and I came here for an appointment and they took our X-​rays and saw the Dr. He noticed a lot of cavities on me. He also asked if I was okay with my front teeth and I told him no. I still had a primary tooth that never came out. He did suggest a crown over that and I said sure. He’s the professional, I took his word. Since I was under a hmo insurance, not much was going to cover. Just my fillings, prophy, and of course the X-​rays, exam, and office visit. He was rough when he worked on my fillings and with my brother as well. We went in April 2012 and from my understanding every 6 months you’re supposed to see the dentist for a regular checkup we were never called for a recall. I know they may have used up everything from my insurance but when I had my scheduled appointment in Feb 2013, they continued on my treatment and my primary tooth was extracted and a temporary crown was made and they put it over. I had to pay out of my pocket because my insurance didn’t cover crowns. So I went a week later and the Dr. said it looked okay and they had scheduled another appointment to put in the real crown. So during the week I start getting on & off pain and when I went to my appointment, I told them that I had some discomfort. He looks at it and said it was okay and that’s it!!! If a patient is in pain they have to take an X-​ray to be sure! So I asked her what’s going on, I don’t want to be wasting time, so the receptionist tells me that I had to pay half for the crown. I did give small payments and I was unemployed at the time and I cannot pay for it. They never called me back for appointments or even try to work something out with me. So when I finally had the money to pay for my treatment, I called to make an appointment and she was giving me a appointment in a month! I took it, so when my appointment rolled around they called me a day before to remind me of my appointment they said that the Dr. had an emergency and he wasn’t going to be there. She tried rescheduling me for the next week and I couldn’t do it because I had the day off and I couldn’t call off anymore, I just told her I didn’t want their service anymore! I don’t know why they’re open for business! They are very unprofessional!!! Horrible customer service and the Doctor is the worst!

This dentist is TERRIBLE. I was actually recommened here by a family member. She has a PPO insurance and actually takes the 85% as full payment… so i thought oh ok cool. Even though i have an HMO maybe it will be more affordable since hes cool with taking the insurance cut as full payment from PPO plans. I know i needed some work done. most likely atleast 1 root canal. I go in for an emergency appointment because im in pain and i see the dentist. He comes in. looks at my xrays and says «your teeth are terrible. Theyre decaying and for ur age they shouldnt be thay bad». Hey asshole. how about reading my chart and seeing that i just had 2 babies back to back and breast fed both for a year. Anyone that knows anything knows babies take away from ur teeth. So he look in my mouth claims i need 3 root canals. Now dont get me wrong. i knew my teeth werent great… but something tells me if i needed 3 rootcanals… id be pretty miserable. Im not a dentist so i say ok… ill schedule an appointment to get it done.
I go to the front office and the girl quotes me over 4 grand. I said uhmm. i have my insurance. She said «ya.thats with insurance.»…i said ok well do u have any payment plans? «nope».ofcourse u dont. So i head on my merry way and call my insurance the next day to get a 2^nd opinion from a different dentist. and hope that maybe the insurance can some how send me in the direction of a practice that has a payment plan because who the hell has 4grand to drop on their teeth. When they ask what the problem there was. i tell her what they quoted me and he was speechless. Each root canal is $ 172 and if it needs a crown an additonal $ 80. So. no where near 4grand. I run down my experience there and shes pretty sure they tried to screw me. And i have to agree. Remember the PPO patients that dont pay any outta pocket expenses? Ya. thats because all the HMO patients are paying ur share and some!!! I now i have a PPO insurance and even still refuse to go back there even tho id apparently have no out of pocket pay. I see an EXCELLENT dentist now. With a 5 star rating. And would rather pay the 15% im supposed to pay and have good quality HONEST work then go back to that place. Dont say i didnt warn you

FIRST OFF. they suck! I am very disappointed with this «dentist». I went in for a «cleaning» but they only polished my teeth! that’s not what I expected but I didn’t think much of it. I asked them if I had any cavities or anything the dentist looked me and said «NO, YOUR TEETH ARE PERFECT». I kinda didn’t believe it but hey, he’s the dentist not me. Sooo… a few months later I start to get a pain in my tooth and since I wasn’t so confident with that dentist I went to a different place where they offered to give me a free cleaning, and do x-​rays and tell me what I need to get done. (they didn’t take my insurance so they offered the next best thing) well… they told me I had a cavity (that obviously has been there for a very long time) and I need a root canal!!! I was furious! If you’re serious about the health of your teeth, don’t go to Select Dental. I only went there because my HMO assigned me to them… I switched and now and hope this dentist doesn’t try to screw me over because of the type of insurance I have.
