Flour LA Inc. is a bicoastal floral design studio with locations in Los Angeles and New York City. We create lavish florals for corporate events and upscale weddings, specializing in modern, eco-​friendly flowers arrangements. We work with the fashion, beauty, and PR industry to create flowers that match a company’s brand. We do flower walls, installations, step and repeats, and backdrops for all occasions. We also provide floral design classes for corporate teambuild, flower arranging parties for groups, bridal and baby showers and birthdays, and private classes. Our sister company Flour LA Jr throws kids parties where we provide activities for children’s parties including flower crown stations and terrarium bars. We provide daily flower deliveries to the Los Angeles area.

Flour LA is a première florist serving Southern California. We specialize in nontraditional, modern designs using eco-​friendly flowers for weddings and events. Business Owner

Carly Cylinder, the owner of Flour LA, teaches floral design classes in an easy, laid back manner. Students of all levels learn tricks-​of-​the-​trade, basic techniques, and design that can be applied to all ranges of floral design. Her classes have been featured numerous times on Daily Candy as best floral design classes in Los Angeles, and best things to do in Los Angeles. Her first book The Flower Chef is published by Grand Central Publishing.

Carly and Kristine are the Best!
I love flowers and I love arranging them. After I had received very high price proposals from florists and designers for my backyard wedding, I decided to do it myself. I went to the flower mart, attended a tour, decided on flowers and developed my concept. I got bowls and decorations and even did a couple practice rounds. Than two weeks before our big day, I changed my mind. I realized even with the help of my sister and girl friends there would be too much to do the night before and the day off.
I am so thankful that Carly and Kristine were able to just jump in, understood my concept and implemented it so beautifully. My bouquet was perfect. It had peonies, hydrangeas, roses and lisianthus in blush and vibrant pinks. I also absolutely adored the Ring Pillow made out of green pom poms and the flower girls floral hair wreaths with million star and roses. Our large Wish Tree had roses, crystals and candle holders hanging from the branches and a rose filled base. It was so amazingly beautiful and is still a centerpiece in our living room today.
In the end hiring professionals like Carly and Kristine was the absolute right decision. They were able to execute my vision, exceeded my expectations at an absolute fair price.

Carly recently did the flowers for my wedding and everything turned out so beautifully! The style was totally modern and different in a good way. People were so excited to take home the centerpieces and girls were literally fighting over the bouquets. One of the couples who attended is getting married soon and asked for her information.
Best of all, Carly was a dream to work with. I had a vision of what I wanted in my head, and Carly helped me express it and bring it to life. She was so sweet and accommodating. After our first meeting, I was confident that she knew what I wanted and that I wouldn’t have to constantly check in with her or worry that she wouldn’t do a fabulous job. Having confidence in your vendor is the best thing for a bride; it took so much stress off of me during the planning. Her pricing is totally reasonable and she had plenty of ideas on how to work within our budget.

Flour has such an artistic take on things. In a world of boring flower arrangements is always nice to see somebody doing something creative. As an event planner, I just recently discovered Flour and have been sending brides their way ever since. I have yet to do a full event with them but I am anxious to make it happen! I am not really sure what fair trade flowers are — but Flour’s got em! Carly is one of the most talented flower designers I have ever come across. She will definitely take the time to make your flower arrangement or event flowers just right. Flour is up and coming and offers specials and discounts if you ask for more information.
