Today was my brother & I’s lucky day. We locked ourselves out of the house. Let’s not go into the details of how. Called up El Sobrante locksmith and someone said they will be by in 30 but showed up in 20 which is awesome! Took Troy less then 5 mins to open my door for $ 90 heartbreaking bucks. But it’s okay. Because we got back into our house. Thank you very much and I promise this won’t happen again!

I had to change the locks on a rental house ASAP.
I spoke to Troy and he set me up with Kyle at a specific time. Kyle called 30 minutes before arriving so I would have time to get there. He took care of the job in a thorough and timely manner and even helped me with some non-​locksmith related items.
Both were very nice and professional. Quick response within several hours which was fine because it was not an emergency but I still needed the same day service.
I would highly recommend and use them again.

I just locked my keys in my car this morning & called this local locks smith. The guy arrived in less than 20 minutes and unlocked my car in about 10 minutes. The service was fast and by far the most affordable from what I’ve experienced.

A neighbor locked himself out of his apt
so he used my cell phone to call ES Lock and Key. They arrived within 15 min. beating out a competitors call back by 30 min. By the way, the neighbor had a plane to catch.

Kyle and Troy are great! I called them around 7:30 one morning to rekey my two houses. They were there by 10:30 and knocked out the job quickly. I appreciate them being available on the morning that I called and tackled my decent sized job rather quickly. I will certainly be going back to them in the future for my locksmithing needs.

Troy and Kyle set the bar on customer service. Never in my years in the Bay Area have I ran into the most polite individuals and they are very knowledgeable on what they do. I went all over town to get my car key specially laser cut which no one has this machine to do so but these guys. Highly recommended!

They said they’d be at my location between 20 – 30 mins. They were there on time. As soon as the guy got there (didn’t get his name), he greeted us, opened the door, made payment, filled paperwork, and went about his way. Definitely going to call them again and definitely recommend to anyone who locked themselves out of their house.

Wow what a joke! I don’t think you deserve 1 star to be honest. 30 mins and you can’t even open a lock. This is your profession how can you not open a lock? Other locksmiths have a electric tool to open locks.
You straight came with a key and small mallet. His response for not being able to open it is that the lock is broken its a new lock hello how can it be broken? I
He even offered to charge me $ 20 to drill the lock out my lock cost more than that. smh I really believe these reviews are family and friends. Will not try them again. If you can’t do the job don’t blame the product.

Troy & Kyle Are Great Service Providers!
I needed a «quick and in a hurry» lock to be re-​keyed. I called Troy at 8:16 am and by 9:16 am (1 hour folks!!) Kyle had arrived, re-​keyed the lock and given me 4 back-​ups. WOW!
This is real service. Plus they are nice guys. I will use them again without hesitation. By the way — they provide 24 – 7 service!

Couldn’t be happier with our visit from Kyle at EL Sob Lock and Key today– HE rekeyed 8 locks in our new house in about an hour– also helped reset our deadbolt post– very nice, very quick, very reasonably priced– everything he needed was in his van– couldn’t be happier.

Needed to get some spare keys and some locks. So many locksmiths don’t have a front end shop anymore. It was nice to drive by and see them open and that there were items for sale. Had the keys made, bought the lock and on my way.
Easy in and out. Street parking. Didn’t see any handicap entrance. Very nice people to deal with and if we have any other issues with locks, we will be calling El Sobrante Lock and Key.
