Don’t get the gyros, unless you like really tough slices of meat. They don’t give enough gyros sauce either. Fries are freshly made & taste like they’re cooked in peanut oil(they taste like Boardwalk fries). Portions are big.

This is probably the best food elgins ever had from what I see they use high quality food for sure and when the pizza comes all the other joints might as well close down ! So give the Zaa factory a try and then you’ll remember what pizzas supposed to taste like !!

I’ve been going to this restaurant since the new owners took over last year. The food is amazing and the prices very reasonable. Good portions and quality ingredients! We had the Gyro and roast beef with fries, and they beat Portillo’s hands down! Fresh cut fries with huge portions. The place is clean… and we can’t wait until they add their Artisan Pizza in the next month We will be back very soon!

So glad I went with the most recent reviews of this restaurant and not the older ones. Everything was great. Like others have said the bag of fries were not only very large but great fries. Onion rings tasted great also. We ordered for delivery to our hotel room. The food showed up very quickly and everything was hot. Great prices also. Will order from here again next time we are in the area.

Haven’t tried this place before now because the previous iteration of this restaurant(I forget what it was named then) was terrible. This, of course, isn’t the current owner’s fault… but sometimes a bad experience sticks with me for a while. It’s a typical lunch joint for this area… and has a good selection of combo meals. I got the Italian beef combo, and have to say it was very good. Italian beef was nice and hot(temp) and a great flavor. It was also just the right amount of «wet». Bread was also fresh. The fries are good, also… they are obviously fresh cut… but one problem — there’s simply too many. WAY too many… they could easily cut the portion in half, drop the price a few cents, and it would still be plenty. If you come with someone else, split an order. I’ll be back to try their gyro next.

Stopped here on a day off for an early dinner. My daughter had a cheeseburger meal with a chocolate shake. I had a grilled cheese. Sounds average enough right? NOTAVERAGEATALL. My grilled cheese? 4 types of cheese on Texas toast. This was not your basic«for the kids» grilled cheese. My daughter was very satisfied with her burger: juicy, fresh and cooked just right. We shared the fries that came with her meal. I was SO glad we decided to do that. Literally a generous pound of fresh cut Idaho potatoes. THESEARENOTFASTFOODFRIES. My favorite thing though: they have sirracha out with the ketchup. Such a great touch. I was able to mix my own sirracha mayo at the table.:SCORE I love little extras like that. Price, service and flavor were all on point. My kid’s first comment on the chocolate shake? «It tastes like rich real chocolate.» Next time we will be trying the Nutella shake. Yep. I said NUTELLASHAKE. I pass here on my commute each day. Now I know what a quick delicious dinner I can pick up on my hectic work days.

Been here a few times just never reviewed. I’ve only had hotdogs and the gyro meals. Both are awesome! From other people I’ve heard all the food is great! All the meals come with 1lb of fries! YES A WHOLEPOUNDOFFRIES! and they are the best fries around! I love em! The hotdogs are true Chicago style expect no poppyseed bun. Still good though! Usually I’m with someone, so we split the 2 hotdog special. It’s more than enough for 2 people! We just always order a extra drink. The fries re heat perfect, which most don’t so it’s nice cause if I get a gyro meal I can bring home the extra fries! Gyro sandwich is huge, always over flowing with meat! Order a extra pita and have a sandwich for later! Definitely will be back!
