I used your services on March 20 for a chimney sweep and duct cleaning. You need to know that I am thoroughly frustrated with the service I received.
I waited during the scheduled 9 – 11 am timeframe with no communication about a more precise arrival time. When I called to find out an expected time of arrival I was told within the hour… only to wait around for nearly two hours before calling again to find out this time that there was a miscommunication and the technician whom you’d sub-​contracted to (Dean’s Home Services from Oakland) couldn’t make it until the afternoon.
When the technicians finally did arrive they did the scheduled duct cleaning and chimney sweep. Because of the scheduling mess-​up I wasn’t able to be there when the guys finished up. My wife tells me that the house became incredibly dusty during the chimney cleaning even while she and my little children were around.
After a few days and a storm, I found my chimney cap lying mangled in my backyard. I called Dean’s Home Services letting them know that they job was not completed properly but never received a call back to apologize or to make arrangements to come and fix the situation. Instead, I spent an hour up on my roof reattaching the cap myself.
Then today I noticed that the guys never reattached the dryer vent hose either after cleaning the dryer vent.
I’m in shock on how terrible a job they did. Please note this and consider not contracting with this company any longer or assessing what exactly went wrong in my situation. I sincerely hope that your other customers have a better experience than I have had but I doubt it. I just saw other reviews of Dean’s Home Services and they are all terrible. Do you even know whom you’re subcontracting with?
I’m not sorry to say, I won’t seek out either All in One or Dean’s Home Services for work in the future.
