Genesis Window Tinting prides ourselves in offering only professional window tinting services. We do not do stereos or bodywork. All of our staff are factory trained and authorized to install Llumar Formula One film. We use CAD designed computer-​cut patterns and provide in-​house design to the software manufacturers. We carry Premium Dyed, Sputtered Aluminum, and Ceramic window films.

We do Automotive, Commercial and Residential window tinting. Genesis is also certified to offer the 3M ‘Clear-​Bra’ paint protection film. Our two (2) full-​time ‘Clear –Bra’ installers function at the master level and have provided training for many of the Area’s independent installers. Our customers demand the best; therefore, we only hire the best.

Commercial Window film installed by Genesis Window Tinting can carry a 15 year warranty guaranteed no to crack, bubble, fade, delaminate, or peel. Residential Window film by Genesis Window Tinting carries a lifetime warranty. We are lic. contractors

Established in 2004.

Genesis Window Tinting was founded in 2004 by a small group of entrepreneurs looking to bring consistency, service and quality to the local window tinting industry. This vision has translated into two stores and a budding franchise.

Genesis Window Tinting now is a dominate player in the Northern California region with several thousand cars, homes and businesses tinted every year. This is truly a green technology that is just maturing in this region and we are honored to offer our services to Elk Grove, Sacramento and Roseville

We offer annual, formal continuing education for our employees on automotive and flat glass film application so they can stay abreast of vehicle changes and technology advances.

This place is hands down amazing. The customer service was outstanding. I had my baby with me and the receptionist was amazing. I was in and out in no time and they took in consideration since i had my child. The work they did was excellent and the warrenty is well worth. You pay for what you get and i again am so happy with the result. Thank you guys for your amazing work.

Great customer service, however sales rep tried his best to fit me in but unfortunately was not able to get me in do to there busy schedule. Both locations in Roseville and Elk Grove were unable to fit me in. I came in from the Central Valley to get my windows tinted and I have to be honest and admit that I had to wait for 2 hours until I found out if I was going to get helped. «My windows were not» tinted at either of these locations.

These guys definitely know what they are doing. I got my 2016 civic tinted. It took 3 hours, but I knew that up-​front because they told me. I like that they are reliable and won’t keep you guessing and the front desk is able to anwser your questions. A $ 20 discount when you check in on Unilocal!Very professional. I definitely would go back.

Great service,
I first contacted them through Unilocal and ‘Sid’ responded within 24 hours to my email (I think I emailed him on a Friday evening and he got back to me the next day) and explained the different options available. I called and made an appt.
When I brought my car in the lady at the front desk was very nice and thorough in answering my questions. They did a great job tinting the car and at a reasonable price :-) I highly recommend them :-)

I’m giving them 5 stars. They did an awesome job installing a full Xpel Stealth on my entire car. No bubbling or peeling. They also installed 50% ceramic tint on the windows, 80% tint and Clear Plex on front windshield. Joshua takes the time to explain the product, the process, and details that go into the work. He’s very patient, flexible, and has excellent people skills. He wants to make sure the customer is satisfied.
I’m not local. However, I decided to give them a try based on Xpel’s recommended installers and great Unilocal reviews. Joshua and Nick take pride in their work and commitment to customer satisfaction. Even though I have to drive 200 miles roundtrip, I’d come back.

Genesis took care of my entire house’s windows (some pretty crazy high ones too!) and let me just say that there is literally nothing more they could have done that would have affirmed my decision to hire them. Pro’s at every step, everyone I talked to, from A to B was a pleasure to deal with and they obviously took pride in what they were doing and how they were doing it. So this was my second time using Genesis and this time I was having my car windows tinted. Although I didn’t have a great experience with my home windows with Genesis, I wanted to give them one more try. I must say, I could not have been more impressed with the car window tinting. I’ve had a lot of cars over the years, all of which I had tinting done by various companies. This was by far, the best tint job I’ve ever seen. I could not find one single flaw on any of the 5 windows they did. They were able to get me in a day after I made the appointment and were done exactly at the time they quoted me. Everything about this transaction was spot on and I couldn’t be happier. They’ve definitely earned by business from here on out!

Great job overall when I came here. I first took a car in sometime ago to only get the front windows since the back was done. I didn’t what it dark up front so I went with the clear which I can tell a difference when driving around. Yes it still gets hot in the car but you don’t feel the sun burning you. I also took my sisters car in and had it tinted all around and it looks great. Yes there’s a dot matrix along the rear but that’s out of there control and it blends nicely. If I ever get an other car I would definitely take it to this place.

This place is awesome! My friend who works at one of the local auto dealerships recommended them and told my they do their vehicles. From the first time I called, to the time I picked up my vehicle, the experience was overwhelmingly positive. Everything met or exceeded my expectations. The price was fair and the quality of work is superb. They even follow up to make sure everything is good and there are no issues.

I was a bit hesitant with the reviews before coming here. If you look a little into it you’ll notice most of the reviews posted only posted here… That made me skeptical because one 5 star review and nothing else usually means the business is asking you to write a review for them, which they did ask me to write a review as well. But the reviews stand true to the business.
I write this review because I chose to, not because I was asked to. I want to clarify that for people who are looking for tinting and good service.
I made a phone call to get my main rear window done. The phone was answered by a friendly woman who listened to my request, offered the different services and prices and was able to set up an appointment for the next day.
This place is down on waterman. Go passed the four way stop sign and then kind of slow it down, it’s basically at the end of all the small buildings on the right.
The building itself is nice. The seating situation I did not like. I won’t ding points or anything but I will say the seating situation is incredibly awkward to me. I sat across a couple spooning on a couch. I think there needs to be more seating, small tables, extra chairs. The couches basically fit one person comfortably each or 2 if you want to be really uncomfortable next to a stranger. That was my only gripe. It was also pretty cold sitting in there for an hour.
If you’re not familiar with tinting there’s different percentages. There’s also laws in terms of what percentage is legal for the front, which they’ll tell you about. Some people decide to go down to 50 for the front others stay safe and do legal limit.
I was happy with the service. It took a little over an hour. I also got the Unilocal deal which took 20 dollars off my order. There’s a life time warranty, which is a super plus for the business.
Friendly front staff. Good job at explaining towards people familiar and customers who were unfamiliar. Wait wasn’t too bad. If I decide to upgrade my other tints I’ll probably bring my car back here.

I couldn’t be happier with the results! The service representatives were courtesy, helpful, and very knowledgeable about their product. Also, a special recognition should be given to Kaitlin, who was extremely helpful in scheduling my appointment and providing excellent customer service. In fact, she was able to get me in an hour before the actual scheduled time and also made some recommendations on where to have lunch while I waited.
The overall experience was 5 star! I will definitely be recommending and taking all of my future window tinting needs to Genesis of Elk Grove.

Genesis applied the Xpel clear protection film on my front bumper, lights, door handle cups and behind my wheels one year ago. I had to replace a headlight under warranty recently so I went back to them for new film on that light. I also had them install the clear guard on the rear bumper by the luggage opening. I have driven 17k miles and I don’t have a single blemish on my paint. The front has been coated with bugs, I hit an orange cone at Thunderhill Raceway and the only thing I had to do was polish the smudge from the front bumper — it all still looks perfect. I highly recommend Genesis for great quality work and superior customer service. Especially if you are picky about your car.

These guys get it right with great customer service and work quality. Being a business owner, I look for good customer service as well as work quality. I had all our vehicles done as well as our kids vehicles and they always do a great job with no issues arising with the work they do. I would highly recommend them. Josh did an amazing job on both my cars. My jeep and Acura ILX had both tinted all the way around. Also had decals put on for my business which exceeded my expectations. They are the best at what they do. Highly recommended. Fast and professional. Thank you for everything.
