Indepth thorough Home Inspections, from roof to crawl space and all surrounding areas. 300 – 600 pictures are taken and delivered on a DVD to client. Our motto is «Protecting Your Investment». This is most important to us. That you know what your getting into and how much or little it will cost you. We only perform one inspection a day, because you deserve it. Inspections are 3 to 6 hours. Climbing the roof, running water., heater, A/​C for 1 hour to make sure it runs well not just turns on and off. We spend on average 1 hour with clients after inspection is over, educating buyers and home owners about maintenance and care for your home. New homes have a lot of new technology and new problems as well. If you want to feel comfortable about the home your buying do rish it with an inexpensive quick inspection. Get it right the first time.

We started tearing homes apart and rehabing them in 1990. Worked as an Assistant Supper Intendant building Trac and Town homes in the Sierra Foot Hills. Worked for the State of California in the Direct Construction Unit performing Tenant Improvements for various state buildings. Constantly educating on new construction techniques.

Garys Career started in the Stock Market in 1977. After 25 years of investing and trading on the floor of the Pacific Stock Exchange he decided to take his hobby and make a career out of it. Moved to the foot hills and started at the bottom working his way up. Real Estate like any investment has risk and it has been his mission to help all interested in Real Estate to understand and make the right investment for all. Some can handle fixer Uppers and some need to walk. He lays it all out so clients can make educated decision to meet the abilities and needs.

First off, Gary is a true professional. We were selling a home in Antelope and the buyer used Gary for the home inspection. He discovered numerous items that needed remediation. From a sellers (us) stand point it was «man this guy is thorough.» Even though it cost us some $$ to get everything repaired, in the end, we knew that the buyer was getting a safe and sound home, all due to Gary’s complete home inspection. Since Gary was so great on the home we were selling, we used him a month later to do a home inspection on a property we were purchasing. We are so glad we did. He saved our bacon, as his inspection discovered a «active» roof water leak, with possible mold behind walls and the ceiling. Gary’s inspection saved us spending thousands of $$ in possible mold remediation and roof repairs. We didn’t walk away from that deal, we ran! With out a doubt, using Turn Key was the absolute best money spent and the decision we made. If you want a thorough unbiased home inspection, Gary from Turn Key is the guy to use. You will not find any better.

Gary is AMAZING!!! My realtor recommended Turn Key and it was seriously one of the best decisions I’ve made. I called Gary to schedule an inspection on my first home purchase, and because he’s so great at what he does, he did not have an availability until a week later. Before I could say, «I’LL TAKE IT!» he was already asking me about my home, like what year it was built. I told him 1987, and then he immediately starts telling me about what I absolutely need to look for and make sure the inspector (if I did not choose him) was thorough and checked the pipes (because during a period they were using different pipes and glue) and so forth! Needless to say, I obviously went with him and waited the entire week because I trusted that he genuinely CARED about me and my new house! On the day of the inspection, he was more than thorough and I LOVE it! I’m a pretty cautious person and hearing every single detail and explanation was amazing. The report was very detailed, he was so friendly, and he also sent me a CD of ALLLLLL of the photos he took during the inspection (300+ photos)! He KNOWS his stuff and that’s exactly what you want when you are investing that much money and your life into something. Seriously, I’m telling everyone about him.

Our second review: after saving us from a nightmare purchase (see below), Gary’s inspection of our second home, while equally as thorough, confirmed that we were making a great decision. With Gary’s stamp of approval on the new house, we felt comfortable moving forward with the purchase.
As a side note, Gary had just had a shoulder surgery and should NOT have even been out, but he wanted to make sure that we were «taken care of.» To that end, he had a colleague out with him that was wonderful, but Gary couldn’t stay off the ladders (don’t tell his wife). He is dedicated to his customers and again, I cannot recommend him strongly enough!

Gary at Turn Key Home Inspections is as good as it gets. Just to give you my background, I am a Home Mortgage Consultant; therefore, I have dealt with many home inspection companies over the years and none come close to Gary.
Gary took 3 hours to review the whole property then spent about 1.5 hours with me explaining all of the positives and negatives of the home and the neighborhood. In addition, he sent me my 50 page report the same day. The report cannot be any better. Gary has already referred me to a few contractors to fix the minor issues found in the home, which is great because it has been difficult for me to locate reliable contractors.
Gary is true to his word. I called him the following day and he was very professional and responsive. He truly views his clients’ as a life long customer.

Gary at Turn Key Home Inspections has done the most complete and thorough investigation of homes we were looking at purchasing. We have used him twice, he spends 4 hours or more initially going through the house, then another two hours walking us through the house and showing specific issues he found. He then writes his inspection report and summary report (with dozens of photos included and provides all photos on a DVD for you) – making it super easy to see what needs repairs. We had some technical issues with photos on one of the inspections but Gary offered to come and take new photos and also to explain any issues we had questions on. He is very open to calls with follow up questions and making sure you are satisfied with the job he did. As long as Gary is in business, I will only use Turn-​Key.

Gary is great. He recently did an inspection on a home that I am buying. I didn’t expect for him to look at EVERYTHING in the house. My report was over 20 pages long for a 2 bedroom home. He took so many pictures and covered the entire house inside and out. He wasn’t feeling well the day of my scheduled inspection but he still hung in there for 4 HOURS while looking at the house. We ended up meeting 2 days later to go over his findings since he was still not feeling well. He really cares about his clients and inspects the home as if he is the one making the purchase. Gary did a great job with the inspection of our new house. He does a great job of defining his role as your advocate and follows through by giving an honest report. I think many people might take an adversarial stance with a home inspector if they don’t understand the relationship, but Gary’s job is to tell me every single thing that is wrong with the house and he did exactly that.
It wasn’t all doom and gloom, though. Not only did he complete an outstanding evaluation but he provided guidance on how to complete repairs or modifications and offered his assistance for anything in the future, whether that is just general advice for reconstruction or a referral for one of his many contacts in the contracting industry.
Not just a great home inspector, but a good dude as well. I’ll recommend Turn Key to anyone that will listen.

Called Gary Monday to come out to Gold River to inspect a home. He came out on Tuesday and spent over 4 hours going in and out of the house while my Realtor and I waited inside. During this entire time, Gary was communicating with us, showing us items of importance, answering every last question of ours, and educating us about the ins and outs of a house. I am amazed by the attention to detail throughout the 43 page report. The document is full of lengthy, concise information that will be crucial when making my decision to buy or walk. Gary is the man you need for home inspections, you will not be disappointed. He’s the best in the business and I can’t say a single negative word about the entire process. Ask for a sample, see for yourself what you are getting for your money, I doubt you would find that level of detail from any other inspection service! What I loved about the inspection report were the captioned pictures, bolded text alerting important items, and product & serial numbers for every component and piece of installed hardware in the house.

Let me start by saying that Greg at Turn Key is the man and I feel fortunate to have met the guy.
My story:
I was a first time home buyer. I bought a flipped home. My first home inspector missed some very concerning issues that should have been disclosed by the seller, but sadly were not. I bought the house unaware of these issues. I am now left holding the bag and need an attorney.
A week after i bought the house, I had an informal second inspection done after a family friend and carpenter who came over to help with an unrelated handyman task — he noticed a couple red flags as soon as he stepped foot inside the house.
Greg was my 3rd home inspection. I found him at a Wealth Builders meeting that I spoke at about a month ago. He spoke previous to me about his services and was knowledgeable and sincere. I grabbed his card.
1) Greg is very passionate and thorough. He fights the good fight and got into the business after he experienced a situation similar to mine.
2) Provided me with a very detailed report, left no stone unturned, and a disc of about 500 pictures.
3) has followed up with me even after the inspection and getting paid.
4) he has even referred me to an attorney who has agreed to give me a free consultation to look at all the details of the case, regardless of whether or not I use their firm to serve the seller.
5) Most importantly, Greg took his time and went the extra mile. He have me a fair shake and delivered everything he said he would, and more.
My advise:
1) 100% get a home inspection if you buy a house.
2) Have Greg do it.

We have bought a few homes but never have we had a home inspector as thorough, knowledgable or willing to explain his whole report as Gary. A home inspection is such an important component in the home buying process, you need to have complete trust and confidence in your inspector. Gary took myself and my husband on a complete walk through of the property. He explained each item and its severity. He made us aware of the good and the areas that need attention. Gary at Turn Key Home Inspections is everything I wanted and expected from a home inspection. As a first-​time buyer, the enormity of the buying process is very overwhelming and Gary’s expertise and thoroughness provided me with all of the important information any new homeowner should have. Besides taking the time to very thoroughly inspect the house (about a 4 – 5 hour process) he then followed up with a 1 – 2 hour walk-​through pointing out everything he found, good or bad. After our talk I felt confident knowing what needed to be fixed, how to fix it, what needed to be maintained, how to maintain it, how long I should expect things to last, how much they could cost, etc.
A day or two later he emailed the full typed report along with photos which had arrows pointing out various elements that were inspected. Soon after that, I received a DVD in the mail with all of the photos he had taken during his inspection (there were hundreds!).
From the time of inspection to the close of escrow I would often have questions about the house and Gary was just a quick phone call away. Even weeks after inspecting it, he still remembered the house! I feel like he inspects every home as if he were buying it himself. As stressful as the buying process was, I never doubted the quality of the home I was buying thanks to Turn Key Home Inspection. I can’t imagine what it would be like to buy a home without having it inspected first and having a good inspector like Gary will give you confidence and make the entire process easier.

Turn Key Home Inspections provided exceptional service and eased the process of buying my home. I had a short sale close way sooner then my relator and I had anticipated, and with my luck, the day before I was heading out of town for 10 days. Gary was so generous and re-​arranged his schedule to do his inspection that day, he spent 4 hours inspecting the house and then spent another hour and a half walking through the house with me explaining every little detail. He told me exactly what I needed to know to transition into my new home and was very honest through the process. Lastly Gary had a very detailed report emailed to me within 24 hours of the inspection along with a CD including pictures of everything he noted. I would recommend Turn Key Home Inspections any day!
