William Tyson has been practicing law for 23 years in the areas of civil litigation, estate planning, family law, contracts, business formation and most recently mediation. He emphasizes pro-​active legal planning and conflict avoidance and is oriented toward resolution rather than conflict when problems arise.

Business Owner

William Tyson has been practicing law since 1988 and is a member of the Sacramento County, Sonoma County and State of California bar associations. He is a trained mediator and has served as a volunteer arbitrator and settlement conference panelist with the Sonoma County Superior Court civil and family law divisions. William is also an adjunct instructor with Santa Rosa Junior College where he teaches in the legal assistant and paralegal studies programs. William is a Mason and a Vietnam veteran with life membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars. In addition to his law degree William holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, with a double major in economics and political science, as well as an Associate of Arts degree in accounting. Prior to his legal career William was an entrepreneur and started businesses involving construction and recreational river touring.
