Klassic Tails Inn is a Dog & Cat Country Boarding Kennel. Serving the greater Eugene-​Springfield, and Western Oregon areas, it is owner occupied family run business. At Klassic Tails Inn, we like to think, we are your very special pets home away from home. Our mission is to provide individualized, safe, clean and comfortable environment, for every pet boarded with us. We wish to make their stay as pleasant as possible and to provide ample outdoor daily exercise for dogs and fun indoor recreation time for your cats. History

Established in 1988.

In 1986, Ada, Jesse Curtis, Where compelled to build a boarding kennel whose services emphasized individual care. Ada researched and designed the physical kennel building and then Jesse constructed the numerous play yards. Ada’s sister Charlotte, as a past Veterinary Assistant was able to help set up kennel procedure emphasizing a healthy environment. As owners and managers of the kennel, Ada & Jesse treated and thought of each pet if they were their own, and they believed that due to this philosophy of kennel care, the kennel has been a successful enterprise since it’s opening day in 1988.

In Feburary 2008, Jim and Michelle Sodeman long time residents of Veneta Oregon, were fortunate enough to take over ownership of Klassic Tails Inn. The new owners Jim and Michelle reside on the kennel property

Michelle has been an employee of Klassic Tails Inn for six years prior to ownership and has taking over the management of the kennel.

Jim, Michelle have been in the pet services trade for over 25 years.

Jim worked in the pet food market and was involved in showing dogs of various breeds with numerous best in show wins. Training and Working with herding breeds being his focus for most of his showmanship career.

Michelle worked for Klassic Tails Inn for 6 years proir to taking over mangement and ownership KTI in 2008. She also worked in the pet supplie wholesale market for 10 years prior to become employed by KTI.
