Our IICRC-​trained and certified technicians will arrive at your home or business as soon as possible to perform an initial inspection. During a project, we clean, restore, and rebuild your property until it’s in perfect pre-​loss condition. We can also provide general contracting services for projects that require advanced demolition and construction.

We are a family owned and operated business that really values each of our clients. We are only as good as our last job and rely a lot on our word of mouth business. As the owner, I am personally involved in the day to day of each job to make sure it is done correct and to the satisfaction of you, our client.

History

Established in 1970.

The name Bowerman has been synonymous with quality work and integrity for generations. Our family’s experience in the restoration and cleaning industry began with Michael Bowerman, Sr. In the early ‘70s he successfully operated a steam carpet cleaning business and managed a dry cleaning store in New Rochelle, NY. Michael Sr. went on to establish his own company, Bowerman Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning. Not only did he specialize in caring for carpets, oriental rugs, and upholstery, he broadened the company to offer emergency water extraction. Thus began our family’s respected reputation and loyal following of customers, most of whom still use our services today. Michael Jr. began working part-​time with his father early on, learning about the industry first-​hand. Father and son worked together to solidify our reputation as a quality company that provides exemplary work and ideal customer service.

Michael Jr. continued to work with his father while attending college. He graduated from Iona College, earning an MBA, and became sole owner of the business his father began. Michael Jr.‘s vision of expanding Bowerman Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning into a full service disaster restoration became a reality when he established Bowerman Restoration. Michael now owns and operates both companies, giving him an edge above the rest. His years of working experience, the knowledge and advice from his father, and his education from both college and the IICRC have aided Michael to provide work and service that exceeds his customers’ expectations. Bowerman Cleaning & Restoration is a trusted name in the industry because Michael and his family dedicate themselves to restoring not only properties, but the lives of their customers with quality and care.
