We make our own super-​premium homemade ice cream and fresh homemade waffle cones, and also serve fresh fruit smoothies, homemade brownie sundaes, homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches, banana splits, milkshakes, and ice cream cakes and pies.

History

Established in 2002.

Smitty’s has been making super-​premium, homemade ice cream since April, 2002. We began as a small, family-​owned business on S. Church St. in Burlington, and have since grown to two locations serving both the Elon and Graham communities in Alamance County. We are the official ice cream for the Elon Phoenix, and have also carried contracts with the Greensboro Coliseum, the Greensboro Grasshoppers, and the UNC Tar Heels. We do numerous outdoor events, as well as meet the catering needs of our Triangle and Triad communities.

Business Owner

Amy is a native of Alamance County, but moved back from her then home in West Africa in 2002 to join her sister and brother-​in-​law in the ice cream dream as the managing partner of Smitty’s. She now spends her time creating new and exciting flavors, communing with her wonderful customers and staff, and building relationships in support of the local community. Haven’t met her yet?
