We have a very well rounded practice utilizing Eastern treatments such as acupuncture, topical and internal herbal formulas, tui na (oriental physical therapy), myo-​facial release, PNF stretching, cupping, and cold laser therapy. We also utilize Western diagnostic techniques such as blood and saliva tests as well as neurotransmitter profiles to scientifically chart your improvement which is tailored to your health care needs. Established in 2003.

Tassy Hennessy, LAc (Licensed Acupuncturist), MSTOM (Masters of Traditional Oriental Medicine), Dip. POM, B.S.Biology, B.S.Neurobiopsch., brings a diverse knowledge to her practice that involves a long history in the Western healthcare system as well as a blending of Eastern healthcare teachings. This diversity is coupled with an ongoing desire for continuing education to gain the latest healthcare knowledge, which creates a holistic way of diagnosing, treating, and educating patients. The beauty of this integration provides an environment where patients can obtain an understanding of their health condition, regain control of their wellbeing by becoming a proactive participant, and obtain the most well-​rounded care from the two health care systems.

While working towards her bachelors and masters degrees, Ms. Hennessy worked on a 911 ambulance as an EMT, then Scripps La Jolla ER and X-​Ray Depts., and then UCSD Medical Center in the Hyperbaric Dept. Tassy also volunteered for 7 years with the San Diego Mountain Rescue Team, responding with the SD Sheriffs Dept. to emergencies in the county, mountains and beyond. After receiving her Acupuncture Board Licensure, Tassy continued her studies and received her Diplomat degree and board certification with the American Academy of Physical Oriental Medicine, AAPOM. Ms. Hennessy currently continues her education in the fields of Endocrinology, Neurotransmitter Biology, Immunology and Laser Therapy.
