A true gem in Leucadia. Nice space for a wellness center. But parking is rough on the narrow streets so give yourself plenty of time before your appointment start time to ensure finding a spot. It’s got lots of rooms they have chiropractic, massage, herbs and acupuncture. And more… I had a wonderful deep tissue massage with Karleigh and she used silicone cups as well great for breaking up facia. And I’m a massage therapist who has her own practice so I’m really picky and I loved her. I’ll be back for sure!

Amy has a lovely presence and is a skilled acupuncturist. She gets results! I highly recommend Amy and Indigo Dragon.

This was my first visit to Indigo Dragon. I had a fantastic integrative massage with Kelli Olds that blended therapeutic deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, and sports massage. As a bodyworker myself, I really appreciated her knowledge of the mind/​body and her focus on healing the cause rather than just the symptoms. Kelli has amazing energy that brought me to a deep level of trust and relaxation. Indigo Dragon is located on a beachside property that has a garden area that hosts Qi Gong classes. a very unique find.

Love this place! Went with my Fiancé for community Acupuncture and it was awesome. The environment is so zen and relaxing that I had to come back the next day haha.
Both days I saw Talia and she is so great! Seriously she goes above and beyond, I really felt like she cared about the back problems I was having and went out of her way to try and help me… Much appreciated Talia! I will be back for sure. I was given an incredible introduction to acupuncture during my appointment with Ashley. She made me feel very comfortable about opening up to explain the stress i was feeling both spiritually and physically. I have never been able to fully relax during massage, etc… during my time with Ashley though, i was actually able to completely let go and release stress that has been built up for years! I never believed in visualization, etc, but i actually saw my stress washed away… Loved the treatment, the location and the staff. Cant wait for my next appointment and to continue my journey to a healthier me. Thanks Ashley!

Ashley and Jen are simply AMAZING! I have been coming here weekly for months! I originally checked them out when I heard about their community clinic on Tuesday afternoons… Acupuncture for $ 20?! Yes please! I am now looking into their packages for regular acupuncture care, as I now have a Health Savings Account through my work and Saturday appointments would be a better fit for my current work schedule.
I highly recommend both Ashley & Jen for all of your acupuncture needs! They are caring, confident in their craft, and provide amazing results! They have helped me to balance my hormones, improve digestion, and eliminate foot pain that had plagued me for months. The best part is how I FEEL when I am receiving treatments as well as after! I feel happy, stress-​free, and leave feeling energized and energetic! You must check them out! Their business is in a really cute and zen setting… I just love it here!

I went to Indigo Dragon Center for the first time today for a prenatal massage (31 weeks) with Melissa Newmann. All I can say is that it was AMAZING!
Before I booked the appointment, I asked several women who they recommend for a prenatal massage and Melissa’s name came up along with many more spa-​like massage centers. But because Melissa was recommended by quite a few doulas, I decided to go with her. And I do not regret it!
Before the massage, I filled out a questionnaire to say how much pressure I like and if I had any goals for my massage, along with any sensitive areas. I wanted medium pressure and my goal was to relieve pressure and tension, as well as relax. All of the above was accomplished.
I’d heard many stories from friends who got a prenatal massage and were disappointed because the masseuse didn’t apply enough pressure (often at those spas). Melissa applied just the right pressure, and if anything, I could have maybe asked her to let up a little.
For a prenatal massage, Indigo Dragon Center is very accommodating with the pillows with holes to lay on your tummy if you can. They’ll also perform the massage on your side or back (propped up) if you feel more comfortable doing so.
The oil that Melissa used wasn’t too smelly (good for pregnant womens’ sensitive noses) either.
I will definitely make sure to come here again before Baby #2 arrives.

Just had the best massage with Melissa. She was very nice, best massage I’ve ever had, and recommended some stretches for problem area. The place relaxing, the staff is friendly. I strongly recommend, I will be back soon!

I have been coming to Indigo Dragon for many years now to see Ashley Lanahan for Accupuncture. The second I walk in to the center — I always feel more peaceful and centered.
Ashley has been able to help me almost completely relieve my sciatica from a herniated L4 and L5. There were days I would walk in hunched over and I would walk out upright and feeling immediate relief!
She has also helped me maintain over all health and boost my immune system that seems to suffer as a mother of two young boys.
She is so gentle and has an innate ability to tune in to your physical and emotional needs, modifying each treatment to better help you.
Personally I love the cupping! I surf every day and it is the best way to relieve tight muscles and get blood flow to the areas that are strained from over use.
I also started seeing Melissa Newman regularly for massage in June after I started a project that was going to be physically having a way with my back/​body. Melissa is amazing! She has an incredible knowledge for how the body works and has helped me keep my muscles from tightening up — and thus making my spine out of whack causing it to ‘go out.’ She has also been able to dig in and alleviate pinched nerves in my shoulders! Melissa is great at recognizing how deep she can go — with making it feel good but also be truly effective! I also walk out feeling so much better!!!
AND… the best part about Indigo — It is a one stop shop for body work! You can get you massages, acupuncture, and chiropractic treatments there! The practitioners who work there can recommend one another according to your needs.

Tucked away in Encinitas but just close enough to feel the effects of the meditation garden, Indigo Dragon is such a wonderfully peaceful environment.
I was given a gift certification for acupuncture but am terrified of needles. Ashley made me an appointment and let me know that acupuncture isn’t the only healing work she does.
The appointment lasted an hour and 15 minutes and to be honest those were the most peaceful, relaxed and serene minutes in my 7 ½ months of pregnancy.
