Amanda is the best ever!!! Just finished my hour session and I literally feel like I was touched by an angel! I was in excruciating pain in my shoulder shooting up to my neck, down my arm, and down my back. I kid u not within about 7 mins of the massage I felt 80% better! Amanda knows what she is doing and will trigger all the pressure points and release all that tension. I definitely need a few more sessions until I’m
totally cured and I can’t wait for my next one. She is amazing and guarantee u will feel like a million bucks! Thanks to her I am actually able to turn my head to the right again and have some mobility in my neck. I was beyond stiff! Thank u thank u thank u!!! Amanda was very quick to respond to questions and scheduling requests. On massage day, Amanda and Denise (?) came to our home for couple’s massage. They arrived promptly to the minute. They were both very pleasant and had mad massage skills. Amanda worked on me. I gave her a heads up that I preferred a strong/​deep massage. She is excellent: very precise and strong! Hubby wished we had more time with them. Next time I will request 90 minutes! Thanks for sharing your mad skills with the world ladies!

Amanda was wonderful! I hired her on short notice after my wife had a c section and Amanda made her feel so at ease and comfortable. She was also successful in helping reduce the back pain my wife was experiencing. My wife was so pleased she surprised ME & and hired Amanda to come back a day later for a relaxation massage as a gift for Valentine’s Day. Amanda was able to relax me which renewed my energy and made me a better father to my brand new baby girl! Highly recommend her!

I’ve had two exceptional 90-​minute prenatal massages with Amanda and cannot recommend her more. As other have already posted, she is incredibly knowledgeable about the human body. She listens to you & your body intently and can identify tension spots within minutes of working on you.
A few of the other reasons that make a massage with Amanda such a positive experience:
— Extremely flexible and accommodating with scheduling. She will really work with you to find a day & time that works for you. I emailed her to inquire about availability and received a response very promptly.
— Always on time (even a few minutes early to set up). Courteous and carries herself with the utmost professionalism.
— Warm and approachable. Someone that you immediately feel comfortable with. My two dogs love her (and I like to think that they have good judge of character!).
— The aromatherapy sprays and the soothing music… she brings everything needed for a spa-​quality (if not better) massage in the comfort & convenience of your home. Just pick a room in your house to set up, and you are in for an absolute treat.
— For expecting moms: this is not one of those prenatal massages that’s too light in touch and leaves you unsure if any tension was released. Within the limits of safety (which she is so well-​versed on) as well as your comfort level with her pressure (which she makes sure to check in with you on constantly), Amanda thoroughly works on your tension points and goes deep where it’s necessary.
— She doesn’t shy away from the gluteal muscles! So many masseuses I’ve gone to in the past are superficial with this area or skip over it completely. Amanda does not.

If I were possible to give Amanda 100 stars, I absolutely would! I was surprised with a couples massage for my anniversary and I am SO lucky that my partner picked Amanda and Denise to do our massages. Amanda (and Denise) were so professional from the get-​go. They set everything up beautifully with candles, music and aromatherapy. All we needed to do was lay down! Amanda did my massage and I have to say, it was one of the best massages of MY LIFE. She was so calming and her technique was really thoughtful. I felt like she was really paying attention to the needs of my body instead of just randomly rubbing all over my back. Before we began, she asked me if there were any special points she should work on and she remembered exactly what I needed. She also provided a variety of essential oils to choose from, which really enhanced the experience. I know my partner absolutely loved her experience with Denise, as well. I do not write reviews often, but I have to boast about the fantastic massage I had with Amanda! Over the years, I have found it to be challenging finding that one special MT to meet all of my body’s therapeutic needs — that is no longer the case!
Amanda’s intuitive nature leads her to specific areas of tension on my body that I didn’t even know existed. Her hands are truly magical. I love that she has a strong, yet gentle approach. It is hard to find a therapist that can reach the deeper levels of muscle tissue and still give my body time to relax into the release. I had an hour prenatal massage with Amanda. She has a calm and soft voice that fits well with her tender energy.
Strong hands– perfect pressure
Thoughtful– checks in about pressure level, asking if I was comfortable and offers assistance when switching sides with a huge belly to roll around with. She really understands the challenges and discomforts that come with pregnancies. Amanda was empathetic and overall a positive massage therapist. I really love that she comes to your house with meditation music and aroma therapy spray she uses at beginning and end of massage. I have to admit that I prefer the aroma therapy machines best but that’s just a minor detail.
I believe she’s worth 5 stars for her skills, empathy, listening skills, positive attitude and great customer service.
She offers other services as well. I want to try cupping as soon as I have my son.

What’s better than a massage in the comfort of your own home? My husband and I have used Inside Out Mobile Massage a few times now and will continue to do so. This is a very professional and courteous company. Amanda, Rashida and Holly have been great, listening to our needs and adjusting accordingly, always giving us stellar massages. Most definitely recommend.

Amanda was and is incredible. I had her give a massage for my 94 year old great grandmother. She came to the assisted living home where she stays and did the massage for her in her bed. She suffers from Rheumatoid arthritis and has a lot of knee joint pain. My grandma LOVED it. She even fell asleep during some parts. Amanda was so respectful and conscientious throughout the entire massage. She even used some aromatherapy which made me relax too! My grandmother said it was the best massage she’s ever had. Amanda is worth every penny!

Amanda is amazing at prenatal massage. She is always on time and her massage technique is amazing. She has strong hands and is considerate to ask what pressure you would like during your massage and she maintains that throughout the whole massage. I find peace in her experience with prenatal massage and that she used to be a doula.
I enjoy that she has packages for her clients to purchase where you can save a bit of money if you buy one of them. I look forward to my 1.5 hour massages with her and have received a massage from her during my 2^nd and now, 3^rd trimester. She is great at making adjustments for your particular body and growing belly.
I would highly recommend her as your go-​to massage therapist. She even gives my husband massages and he enjoys them so she is not just prenatal.
I also like that she is a nice balance of light talk and quiet time for relaxation during the massage. I appreciate this because I do ask her questions about my changing body as well as pregnancy questions and she answers them very throughly with a bank of knowledge, training and experience. She then continues on with my massage in silence allowing me to relax and be fully immersed into the massage. I love this about her!

Amanda gave me a massage when I was pregnant and I’ve never felt relief like that! I had her come back 5 more times after my baby was born. I’ve had a lot of massages in my life and she is hands down the best. I can not recommend her enough! Sweet, professional and listens to your needs.

I have been seeing Amanda of Inside Out Mobile Massage for several years, and the biggest mistake I ever made was one time, when she wasn’t available because I was an idiot and didn’t give her enough notice… I tried someone else.
After being under Amanda’s care, it was a shock to be reminded how mediocre and often terrible other masseuses can be. Amanda is a true pro among a bunch of amateurs and fakes in Los Angeles.
Amanda is extremely conscience and knowledgeable and highly trained. And she not only has a comprehensive understanding of how all of the nerves and muscles in the body interconnect — but she understands how YOUR body has it’s own unique connections, chemistry, quirks and pains. Since I’m quite certain I’m not so special of a client that she would go out of her way to only remember everything about me, I’m sure she is like this for all of her clients. It’s almost like she was born to do it.
I’d had numbness and cold sensations in my feet for nearly a year. I tried my regular doctor, foot doctors, did a whole electronic sensory test with two neurologists and none of them had any idea what was going on. Nothing.
But after one session with Amanda, she discovered that my quad muscles were so tight that they were basically strangling some nerves that then led to the sensations in my feet. I felt warmth and feeling return to my feel IMMEDIATELY… and she has helped them nearly return to normal. It sounds so simple, but only Amanda got what I was going through and discovered a real solution. She’s just very smart about the body and how pain symptoms in one place might have a solution entirely somewhere else.
And oh my god, she just started using hot stone therapy and it is FANTASTIC. I really didn’t get what it was or how it worked, but Amanda has added this to her repertoire and I highly recommend it. It is so soothing and relaxing, and she has a way of keeping the stones the perfect temperature. Amanda seems to have very fine control of how much pressure comes through her hands, and the hot stones just amplify that skill.
She also now does cup therapy, which sounds dumb but it is very interesting. It uses various sized little suction cups placed on certain locations on your body to help identify places of poor circulation. That was also really cool!
So all this adds up to the fact that I’m never going to see another masseuse as long as Amanda is around.

my sister surprised me last weekend with a pre-​natal massage w/​amanda. WOW! what an amazing and perfect gift as i am now starting my 37^th week of pregnancy and working at a computer all day has truly been taking its toll. my sis picked Inside Out Mobile Massage because it was the top-​rated mobile massage in the area and i can understand why.
it didn’t matter that saturday afternoon construction was going on next door or 2 kids were running around upstairs. everything melted away as soon as the session began. [cue spa music and aromatherapy…] with the perfect amount of pressure, amanda worked out all the kinks in all my problem areas — back, neck, shoulders, legs, and sore and swollen feet. and i appreciated all the extra details like the aromatherapy eye pillow resting on my eyes while she worked on my scalp and face and neck.
the fact that i dozed off a couple of times should tell you how comfortable and relaxed i was! usually, i’m disappointed when i fall asleep during a massage. i think, «oh man! what a waste of a massage!» not this time… i was awake long enough to feel completely present in this blissful pre-​natal massage. i seriously feel like the massage moved me into a meditative state where i was transported to some happy place in paradise!
i’ve glanced at the other Unilocal reviews and would agree whole-​heartedly with the descriptions of amanda as professional, caring, and intuitive with strong but gentle and healing energy. what a treat to receive this massage service in the comfort of one’s home. i will definitely book future appointments with amanda and use this as a go-​to gift for any pregnant friend in their service area.

She’s so professional, and so caring, and she’s very intuitive.
I was pregnant when she first started with us so I’ve had both her prenatal massage and her regular massage and I always stand a little taller, feel a little lighter after her help.
She has such a great understanding of the body (so knowledgeable and so very pleasant) and can help with target areas if you’re having pain. She helped me with a chronic hip pain I was having from carrying the baby.
Having her in our home is always a nice, peaceful, relaxing experience and we look forward to many years to come seeing Amanda regularly for massage. Yay!

She was on time, professional, friendly, and has my sweetie already checking the calendar to see when we can have her come again. Amanda had a firm yet soft touch, got into the knots that had taken residence in my love’s back, and she says this massage is in the top 5 that she’s received.
