OM Lotus (formerly Zen Shiatsu LA) was started in January 2010 after lead California state certified massage therapist Dharam Deep Singh realized the need for quality combinations of Zen Shiatsu, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Chakra Balancing treatments in Los Angeles. With over 20 years experience in the healing arts, Dharam brings a unique skillset to the table and hypno-​chair.

Hi, my name’s Dharam Deep Singh & I will be your massage therapist! I created OM Lotus to support you in your journey to health. There is nothing like the feeling of a great OM Lotus custom-​tailored massage. The Chakra Balancing is amazing & compliments the Zen Shiatsu very well.

I massaged clients at many spas, chiropractic clinics, & special events like the Los Angeles Marathon before setting out on my own venture with OM Lotus. I believe I can provide you with the best massage LA has to offer. You will be feeling good for days, if not weeks, walking on Cloud 9.

I referred one of my clients to Dharam as she wanted to work on something he specializes in. Her feedback was nothing but enthusiastically positive as to Dharam’s skills and the results she got working with him.

I had never done hypnotherapy before but my experience far exceeded my expectations. I scheduled the session to seek help regarding my nail biting and had instant results. I didn’t bite my nails or fingers at all for 3 weeks solid as a result of 1 hypnotherapy session. I was also given tools to refer to as well so when the urge did come up I was able to use them to help refrain from biting. So far it’s been over several months and as long as I continue to use the helpful ideas I learned in my therapy session I am able to not let my nail biting get out of hand. My fingers and nails are in the best shape they have ever been and I am so thankful I finally found something that helped me with this. It feels really good to be able to show off a manicure instead of always hiding my hands because I’m embarrassed! Thank you Dharum:)

have had 3 different experiences that involve Dharam and his group kundalini sessions. I was impressed at all the muscles that are worked during each kundalini session and at how well you feel afterwards. I could also tell, that a lot of energy that seemed stagnant before, started moving after the classes with Dharam. I loved the chanting as well and Dharam’s approachable personality, what can I say? I am a happy client!

I had a couple private kundalini yoga lessons with Dharam and they were amazing! He is such a compassionate person and a patient instructor, made me feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire lessons. You can tell that he truly cares about people and wants to help them.

I had a great experience getting a Full Body Massage with Dharam. He completely relaxed me after a stressed weekend. I have always wanted to do a Reiki reading and finally asked him to complete a reading. After I did that reading he explained everything in detail and it seriously changed my life. My stress went away and I found myself getting over stressful situations that I didn’t think I could. I want to go back and do hypnosis therapy to feel even better about myself and stay on track with my health and dieting as well.

I must share my wonderful experience with the rest of you Unilocalers. Dharam at, Om Lotus, helped me out more then any chiropractor and acupuncturist. I was having severe lower back pain (sciatica) and he was able to eliminate the pain that was traveling down my legs. I did an hour massage session and I was amazed how well I felt after. He’s got magic hands! Anyone in pain needs to book with him asap. You won’t be let down. He’s truly talented! I also began hypnotherapy and look forward to more sessions with him. My mother went to him as well and has an extrodinary experience as well. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself!

I just had a mind blowing hypnotherapy session with Dharam. I wasn’t expecting much, because all I’ve seen on hypnotherapy is the fake stuff on TV where they make you act like a complete idiot and bark like a good lol. Instead, I experienced something that felt like a peaceful meditation, but also a guidance to retrain my brain into making positive changes in my mind & life, and to heal. I Ieft with tears of peace and happiness. That was a powerful experience into my subconscious. I strongly recommend hypnotherapy if you need a little push to snap out of that rut and see light again.
His studio is clean, quite, cozy, and private, which dimmly lights up with a Himalayan salt lamp.
Dharam’s personality is kind hearted, and he has a passion to help people. I’m looking forward to my next hypnotherapy session with him. Wish I did this sooner!

This was my first time visiting the new location in Tarzana and I love it! Located right next to Yoga Works, Whole Foods, and Starbucks, the location is perfect for a few hours of rest and relaxation.
I have a lot of knots and tension from all of my athletic endeavors and Dharam has been able to locate the areas that needed the most treatment.
What sets him apart is that his genuine care and concern for your healing comes through in his personality. You’re not just another customer here.

I travel a lot and recently have been under a lot of stress, so I was searching for not only a trained massage therapist, but a more personalized, holistic approach. A friend had recommended that I contact Jim at Zen Shiatsu LA because they had really enjoyed their experience.
Jim called me back right away and let me know he could come to my home which was a plus. From the moment the massage began, I had a feeling it was going to be good. Jim’s calm demeanor, pleasant voice, and knowledge on holistic healing, and skill in massage and «feeling» where I needed healing was amazing. The music he put on to help me relax during the session was so beautiful I had to ask what it was so that I could get a copy of it, and he graciously offered to give me a copy. I thought that was above and beyond the call of duty and I was super impressed with his kindness.
I have to agree with the reviewer before me, the combination of Deep Tissue with Zen Shiatsu LA was pure bliss… and the foot massage was THE BEST I’ve ever experienced. I was blown away at how good I felt after my treatment.
The personal attention is just what I needed. I also received some tips on how to alleviate stress and keep myself more balanced. Jim, thank you for healing me and I will definitely be back for more!
