The Pointe

Well, as a last resort to my back pain from being run over by a car I found my self venturing over to The Pointe. A friend tried another place and this one, and said the people that work here know what they are doing, and that their insurance worked for this particular acupuncture place.
I’m not fond of needles. I don’t like needles. I hate the idea of something puncturing me, and it makes no sense that it would work, but I have a newborn and I want to hold her without having excruciating pain going up and down my neck and lower back. It got to the point where it felt like my neck was literally going to break its self over the last 2 days. So I went.
Montana first greeted me at the desk. I didn’t have an appointment, but she was kind enough to take me in upon hearing my story. I told her I didn’t expect it to work, but I was desperate to try something other than taking Norco and Advil, which don’t really work well.
She answered a lot of my questions, and then asked me a lot of questions about where it was hurting, how long have I had the injuries… She sincerely wanted to know so that she could help.
Since I didn’t have an insurance that covered the cost of the acupuncture, she gave me a Kaiser Member Discount. I was really appreciative of this.
Finally I built up enough confidence to go through with it. I was still on the verge of not doing it.
Montana’s expertise in the way she handled the needles was to say in the least, incredible. I have to think so, because I didn’t feel much pain from the needles she used at all. it felt like someone pinching me for less than a second.
The heat came on, the relaxing sounds filled the room and soon after about 30 – 45 minutes couldn’t tell how long really, it was over and she was pulling them out. She then massaged me briefly with a lotion to help alleviate the muscle spasms in my neck on top of the acupuncture.
Verdict 80% of the pain gone. WTF. I was seriously not expecting this to work at all, and having it work that well, well I have to say Montana knows what she is doing.
She was honest and said that its only a temporary fix for the pain. That it would come back, but, I decided to just go ahead and book my self once a week from now on, because it sure the hell worked better than my pain pills.
After everything was done and I paid, I half expected her to try and sell me a slew of herbal medicines etc… She was not about that at all, but I ended up purchasing the lotion she used on my back of my own accord.
Over All if there were 6 stars, I would give it. Thank you Montana.

I’ve been seeing Montana at The Pointe for about a month now. She has really helped relieve much of my back pain after my pregnancy. I got to feeling my best in no time! She is so knowledgeable, helpful, and takes the time to understand my needs. I currently receive a combination of both acupuncture and massage. Every time I leave a session I not only feel refreshed, but I can breathe a little bit easier. I highly recommend her services! :-)

This place is the best I have been coming here for months and love it! I get the massage and the regular session and it is the best way to feel relaxed and heal any injuries!

I went to The Pointe because I was having hormonal issues related to menopause, e.g. insomnia, anxiety, night sweats… From the moment I met Montana I knew I was in the best of hands. The massage she gave was beyond incredible! And the acupuncture treatment was surprisingly painless and relaxing. I just completed my third treatment and have already noticed a decrease in my symptoms. I am hooked! I am so grateful that I found Montana and The Pointe!!!

Montana is a a truly wonderful acupuncturist. From the initial phone call it was a good experience. She is a good person and cares about her clients individually and always puts in that extra mile. She takes the time to talk with you at the start of every session and really gauge your progress and issues. I came to see Montana to regulate my hormones for infertility issues and without divulging to much personal information I feel she was a great help in helping me achieve my goal. After achieving my goals she continued to check in with me when she knew I was going through some personal ups and downs and is very thoughtful and caring. She really takes the time to help you relax during your session and manage any fears and anxieties. Only great things to say about my experience with her. :)

Montana and Amir are true healers.
Their clinic is in a great and busy location, but the minute you step into The Pointe, you feel a sense of calm and serenity.
Montana sits you down and asks you a series of health questions in order to better place the needles for acupuncture. She also gives amazing holistic health tips based upon what you share with her. I always get a combination of acupuncture and massage; the best of both worlds! Montana has an amazing touch and I always walk out feeling lighter and totally healed.
Amir is just as amazing; I love them both! Amir is great at showing new stretches to help prevent further tension in my problem areas. He is so kind and helpful.

I started seeing Montana a few years ago to help with my hormonal imbalances. Within 3 months of consistent appointments & a regiment of herbs, I experienced such a profound difference. We then added in cupping to the mix– to assist with my lung congestion. This changed my world! However, It wasn’t until almost a year later that I discovered she offers massage into her treatments. I’m hooked! I am a certified massage therapist (so I’m incredibly picky) & she is by far one of the best masseuses I know in Los Angeles. She is incredibly knowledgable about human anatomy & skilled beyond just Chinese medicine. An acupuncture session followed by a massage or vice versa is the ultimate treat! Highly highly recommend.

Had the best experience ever at this place! Amir was super friendly and very professional. It was my first time getting acupuncture and I have a huge fear of needles but he handled it with total grace and made sure I was 100% comfortable and at ease before he got started. Barely felt the needles at all! I could definitely feel a difference when I left, and I am looking forward to some more acupuncture in the future with Amir! A++!!!

I have been seeing Montana at The Pointe Acupuncture for a few months now. She has been helping regulate and soothe my menses with weekly acupuncture visits and Chinese herbs. My period is 80% better. It’s incredible. I’m also very susceptible to UTI’s, and this is one of Montana’s specialities. Since seeing her, I have had none. I tribute it to the acupuncture, herbs, and her vast knowledge of Chinese medicine. Not only is she incredibly knowledgable at what she does, she is also a caring, professional master at her craft. I’m so thrilled to not have to take awful antibiotics anymore. And I fully trust Montana and Amir with their skills and knowledge of their craft.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Montana has helped with my migraines so much. I was having awful migraines a few times a week and after going to Montana they are gone. My husband goes as well for his neck and feels better. I really can’t recommend this place enough. I was referred by a friend and was so happy I went. Montana has the best bedside manner as well and makes the experience very nice and pleasant.

Amazing acupuncturist, they have helped me so so much with my neck pain! I have used acupuncture for a number of years for various ailments, everyone seems to have their own methods. That said, Montana’s is the best I’ve seen by far, she gets straight to The Pointe every time and you leave feeling like a whole new person.
